Feb 4, 2015I can't connect to my network, i have broadcasting off. I didn't see any advance features on the phone to avoid this.

Lumia 950 XL :: How To Connect WiFi To A Hidden / Not Broadcasting Network
Dec 8, 2015Received my Lumia 950 XL with Windows 10 last week, and all so far so good. However, I have a few clients that a visit regularly that use hidden WIFI networks or networks that do not broadcast. These normally have to be setup manually on the device, but I can't find anywhere in Windows 10 phone settings to deal with a manual wifi connection setup?

If I turn off broadcasting, I know its still there - I have laptops and an iPhone that still find it an can connect to it. But my new RAZR doesn't seem to know how to locate/connect to it .

Oct 19, 2015Since yesterday (Sunday 18 October) my Z2 hasn't been able to connect to my home network. I've tried resetting the router, rebooted it, rebooted the phone, forgot the network and reconnected. Nothing works. My mobile network still works though. Also, my Vaio laptop and my girlfriend's iPhone don't have any problems connecting to the network.

Aug 20, 2010I still have to wait for full-functionality on my X10 when the service provider gets updated to a new contract in a few weeks.However, I cant get it to connect to my home wi-fi network.It recognises the network and remembers it. The Network Key is good. Ive tried both with and without 'data traffic enabled', and of course the phones Wi-Fi is turned on- Ive tried that both through the main screen and through the Wi-Fi Settings screen.I got a shock bill last week because the phone was using dial-up connection instead of Wi-Fi without me realising it!Also, how can I ensure it chooses unsecured or 'FreeZones' when on the move over dial-up? I want to be able to use the Navigation function, but worry about the phone being connected too much, even with the internet bundle I am subscribing to.

Aug 30, 2012I have an Xperia PLAY and recently the screen went fuzzy and I couldn't see anything so I had it repaired. However when I got it back it will not connect to my network which is Vodafone Ireland. When I try to connect it says "Your SIM Card does not allow a connection to this network". I have changed the mode from WCDMA and GSM and vice versa but still it won't connect. I even got a new sim card to try that. It will work with any of my older phones but not this one. The phone works perfectly at everthing else including internet by Wi-Fi but not as a phone.

With GB all 3 G data connection and all network connections worked perfectly fine.Upgraded to official ICS. Now I can not connect to 3 G data network at all.Wasted almost 2 days thinking that this is a problem with my network service provider.After searching Google it looks like bug in Sony ICS upgrade. I had a high respect for Sony. Now I feel terrible. I feel my switching from Nokia to Sony is a big mistake.I am from India. Can any body tell me how to fix this problem on ICS on Sony Xperia Mini pro.Should I go back to GB ?

Oct 25, 2011I am using a Curve 8520. Due to an external body defect, I gave my phone to the service centre. They formatted the phone and returned it as a brand new phone. I restored my contacts and settings and am using OS v5.0.0.1036 and BBM version 6.0.0.129 now.
Earlier when I had BBM v. 5.0.0.57 and used to broadcast messages I would delivery reports for each recipient. However now when I broadcast messages to say around 25 people. I receive just 4 or 5 delivery reports. Rest still show the red colour pending icon for days. On confirming some of the others confirm that have received the message, but it does not show the delivery report or the tick mark and "D" sign on my phone.
Apparently nto sure hwo many are receiving my msgs when I broadcast.. I have already rebooted and re-called for the service books.

Sep 16, 2011"Just got my Blackberry Torch 9810 and I can't connect to AT&T's Network! I get an error saying that there is insufficent network coverage and yet when my girlfriend tries on her Pantech Impact, sitting right next to me, she has no problem. I'm able to make and receive calls and I have 3 bars showing in the signal strength indicator.
I just asked this question over on the AT&T Blackberry Forum but I haven't got a response yet so I thought I would ask it here too.
Since then, I called AT&T for help and they told me that it is probably because when I received my phone I should've left the new SIM card in it and activated it, rather than just popping in my old SIM card, is this true? In the past, I think I've just inserted my old SIM Card and everything worked as it should without performing a new activation.

Apr 11, 2012Yesterday I was informed by an Apple rep over the chat support site, that the 4S when upgrade with the iOS 5.1. That it does indeed connect to the 4G network. I find it very strange that the carriers have no information on this. If Apple has a iphone that connects to the 4G network. How come they have not informed the carriers? I just spoke with Verizon and they have no information of this that I was informed of yesterday by Apple. I upgraded my daughters phone to an iphone 4S 16G and could not get the promotion, because as far as Verizon understood this phone only operates on the 3G network.
