Oct 1, 2011I recently did a factory reset on my device and now when I log into facebook thru the account settings I am able to log in but my contacts don't show in my contact lists anymore and when I go into social networks I don't have any feed showing up like I did prior to the reset. I can post a status update with no problems. I logged into facebook and checked settings and still have droid in my allow applications to access my info. Is anybody else having this issue after a master reset? Is this issue maybe on facebooks side? Like I stated I've done many master resets on my droid x and droid x2 and never had the issue syncing fb back up.

Jul 8, 2010Couple of days back I faced a very strange issue where the application stopped syncing emails. I called the help line here in India and they asked me to format the phone. All done and application re-installed still it was not working. Then suddenly it started working and was working fine till this afternoon.Now again the sync is not working. Is there a problem with Nokia messaging server or it is the phone which is having this issue. Are you guys facing similar issues with the email sync lately.

Feb 17, 2010I have Nokia E71 with latest NMessaging (9.06.24) installed. It worked like a charm for the last 1.5 months but on Feb. 5 Inbox stopped syncing. I have the only mailbox on Gmail connected. The connection icon is green and round as it is supposed to be. Manual Sync clicking does the icon rolling and then nothing happens. My new incoming emails are not in the list. Sent folder is synced just fine. Previous e-mails also work perfectly as I can download truncated messages and attachments. Gmail's own app works perfectly and downloads all new messages.
Nokia, what happened? If you intended Eseries as a Blackberry competitor it is the worst move to disregard the key functionality like emails.Also I purposefully don't want to reinstall anything. Why should I? It is a branded service that must work without "surgery" of any kind. How I can rely on such service that giving no warning just stops working.
You should concentrate on this very important issue and provide you official solution.

Jan 26, 2011I cannot find any documentation of how to do this other than manually reentering all of the feeds. I cannot believe that the RSS feeds aren't backed up somewhere in the full backup file like the BBM contact list is. Does anyone know ehere the data is and how it can be backed up and restored?

Oct 25, 2011I synced my N8 with windows media player after the anna update but couldn't see any pictures in the photo app. Pictures are already on the device inside "pictures" (not "images") folder in E: drive. After playing a bit, i figured out that photos app only read the pictures inside "images" folder of E: drive. Is there any possible way to make photo app read files in the "pictures" folder or make Windows Media Player sync with the "images" folder instead of "pictures" folder.

Calendar entries made on my Mac still show up under the "PC Suite" calendar on the N8.

Mar 8, 2010I have just upgraded from nokia maps 2.0 to version 3.0. Prior to this if i had my music playing and the sat nav giving me voice directions over the fm transmitter in my car the music would be stoppped while the voice read out the instruction over the radio speakers, this would then revert to the music playing over the fm transmitter again, oh how perfect it was. Now unfortunatley after upgrading to nokia maps 3.0 when my sat nav decieds to give me verbal instructions all sound is taken from the fm transmitter and comes from the phones internal speaker (not via my car stereo) and to top it all of it doesnt even shut down the music that is playing so i have to try and decipher the sat nav instruction over the music, is anybody else having this problem or is it just me and more to the point how do i fix i

Apr 7, 2012I have a Imac (10.6.8) and a Iphone running ver 5.01. I also have Goofle sync installed. For some reason my iCal has stopped syncing back and forth between the to devices. Contacts seems to work fine, add a contact on either, and it almost immediately shows on the other device?
Is it best to update to the latest version on my Imac to take advantage of syncing through the cloud? If I am correct, with version 10.6.8, I can not sync through my icloud account, correct?

Jan 9, 2010The rss feed reader refuses to download any rss feeds. neither the two pre-installed ones, nor any other. once, i managed to download an opml file on my phone and using that i was able to physically add a new rss feed which however contained no posts and failed to update. all the other times pressing "subscribe to rss feed" in the browser opens the reader and after approving by pressing the "done" button it tries to connect to the feed for 1-2 min without success.
