Overnight I have noticed no new email notification on my AOL account. I have checked on line and on my pc and there have been quite a few. I have tried resyncing but nothing happens. I have deleted the account and this has no effect. I have powered phone off and on. My other accounts are syncing fine.
View 2 RepliesCouple of days back I faced a very strange issue where the application stopped syncing emails. I called the help line here in India and they asked me to format the phone. All done and application re-installed still it was not working. Then suddenly it started working and was working fine till this afternoon.Now again the sync is not working. Is there a problem with Nokia messaging server or it is the phone which is having this issue. Are you guys facing similar issues with the email sync lately.
View 7 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone4 and laptop have stopped communicating/syncing in terms of emails. IE: If I delete an email on my phone, it used to automatically delete on my computer, and vice versa. Now, nothing.

I have set up my Exchange sync OK, it's working OK for a couple of days. Then all of a sudden (no changes to the settings whatsoever) it stops syncing. If I go to the sync setup screen there's a generic error (Error while syncronizing or some such). Of course, you don't get any other indication unless you actually go there - you're left with the impression you just don't get new e-mails. There's an easy fix (or workaround more like it) - if I go to the credentials screen and just hit save, it's fixed! Until next time it happens. I've already contacted HTC Support about it?

Since the froyo 2.2 update i get a message when i unlock the phone weather wallpaper stopped working force stop etc (process com.htc.weatherwallpaper) or something like that. I have factory reset the phone 3 times since the update. Has anyone got any ideas or am i the only oe to have this issue, not seen this on any searches i have done

Although the emails always go to my Desire Inbox, they don't stay there for very long: they simply seem to disappear from the Inbox by the end of the day at the very latest. I can't locate them after that, and I can't seem to find an appropriate command in the settings to prevent my emails from disappearing from the Inbox.

Then the WIFI just stopped working ( said I was connected but yet no pages would load which was very frustrating..)..Took phone back to shop and got a new one now , with 2.2 on it which works fine.. I've checked all the virginmedia imap/smpt settings and all is fine, my virgin webmail is also fine. Looking at the virgin forums, there are a lot of people with HTC desires saying similar, but no one with blackberries / iphones / Galaxy etc reporting, so I thought it might have something to do with HTC?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI can receive emails on my unlocked HTC Desire S and can on my original unlocked HTC Desire but cannot reply or send fresh email on either. The settings are OK as they worked previously, in fact only minutes earlier on the Desire S.When satisfied it all worked OK I took the Vodafone SIM out of the Desire S and put it in the Desire to see if the email issue still existed. It did. I put the SIM back in the Desire S and the problem has replicated itself. Now all I can do is receiveI am reluctant to put the SIM in my unlocked Samsung Galaxy S2 in case the problem occurs again.

I have my own mailserver (hMailServer). I can connect over the internet from my laptop and I can connect from Desire, but after connection the phone displays "No Emails". The settings is IMAP with no extra security.I know that all settings are correct because I have traced the IMAP conversation with WireShark on my server. I'm not an IMAP expert, but it looks ok and I can see email headers being transferred. But still the phone doesn't show any emails.

Contacts seems to work fine, add a contact on either, and it almost immediately shows on the other device?
Is it best to update to the latest version on my Imac to take advantage of syncing through the cloud? If I am correct, with version 10.6.8, I can not sync through my icloud account, correct?

I have Nokia E71 with latest NMessaging (9.06.24) installed. It worked like a charm for the last 1.5 months but on Feb. 5 Inbox stopped syncing. I have the only mailbox on Gmail connected. The connection icon is green and round as it is supposed to be. Manual Sync clicking does the icon rolling and then nothing happens. My new incoming emails are not in the list. Sent folder is synced just fine. Previous e-mails also work perfectly as I can download truncated messages and attachments. Gmail's own app works perfectly and downloads all new messages.
Nokia, what happened? If you intended Eseries as a Blackberry competitor it is the worst move to disregard the key functionality like emails.Also I purposefully don't want to reinstall anything. Why should I? It is a branded service that must work without "surgery" of any kind. How I can rely on such service that giving no warning just stops working.
You should concentrate on this very important issue and provide you official solution.
RSS feeds have stopped syncing, the address is fine. I can send the RSS feeds to another N8 and they sync fine there. I've tried adding new RSS feeds and they also don't sync

My iPhone 4 stopped syncing with Outlook when I upgraded to 2010 from 2007. I have tried about everything I know and have found on the Apple support site. I have 5.1 on the phone 10.6.0.40 on my iTunes. If its a bug, you would think it would have been fixed with the latest update.

I have tried all the tricks and I know itunes has to be open, my wireless box is checked, I have renewed the lease on my wifi, have restarted my computer, unplugged mid-sync and after a sync without ejecting the device. View 1 Replies View RelatedI set up my 2 business email accounts with IMAP, everything worked fine for about 2 weeks, then my default account would not consistently download emails, so I could see them on my laptop inbox but nothing on the phone, then the IMAP sync function on the default account would not work from my laptop to S6, it would work the other way, so i can delete or move emails into my various folders via mt S6 but not via my laptop.
The strange thing is that he secondary email account works fine, receives email fine, IMAP works and syncs fine all working good. So I decided 2 days ago to delete both email accounts and set up again, everything worked fine but today its back to the original status of my default account not syncing from my desktop/laptop. The settings for both email accounts are the same.
The phone is primarily used for business and i get over 200 emails a day.
