Since the froyo 2.2 update i get a message when i unlock the phone weather wallpaper stopped working force stop etc (process com.htc.weatherwallpaper) or something like that. I have factory reset the phone 3 times since the update. Has anyone got any ideas or am i the only oe to have this issue, not seen this on any searches i have done
View 2 RepliesThe weather app on my home screen doesn't always display the weather - it often says there is no data available. However, when I access the app and manually refresh the weather is displayed and remains when I return to the home screen. Is this an issue without Android 2.2 or is the handset at fault? The same app works perfectly on my Hero running on android 2.1

I have set up scenes on my phone and have a live wallpaper set into these, yet every time I turn off my phone it loses the live wallpaper and I have to select my scene again. As far as I can tell it does not change any of the other elements of the scene, just the wallpaper, although I have never really checked as I just re-select my chosen scene each time.

Overnight I have noticed no new email notification on my AOL account. I have checked on line and on my pc and there have been quite a few. I have tried resyncing but nothing happens. I have deleted the account and this has no effect. I have powered phone off and on. My other accounts are syncing fine.
View 2 Replies View Relatedi just receivedan htc desire z/g2 from hong kong. it is running android 2.2. but it seems it is the older t-mobile g2 version.... i dont see the personalize button anywhere, nor do i see any of the live/interactive wallpapers or how to change them.....i am in mexico and will be using the telcel gsm network...anyway i can update this to the newer version??...i really have no clue what the differences are, etc. i go into menu > settings> and dont see any personalize option or wallpaper option...this is my first android phone.

Then the WIFI just stopped working ( said I was connected but yet no pages would load which was very frustrating..)..Took phone back to shop and got a new one now , with 2.2 on it which works fine.. I know I am likely to get the warning for the udgrade tonight but I will probably not install it

The clock still keeps time, but the weather icon on the right hand side does not show the current weather, will not update, nor will it allow me to touch the widget and enter into the settings/different cities. It was working fine up until about a week ago. I've tried restarting my phone and removing/re-positioning the widget, but no luck. It can't be uninstalled as it came with OS.

We both have Iphone 4 with IOS 5.1. Noticed this issue after upgrade to latest IOS. In the weather app you can select cities that you want to follow weather-wise. I had around 10 cities selected. My wife had some other number. In any case I noticed one day that I only had 3 cities. Long story short I ran some tests and using either phone adding/deleting cities on one phone causes a sync to the other phone.

I can't see them in Gallery any more. Luckily due to the backup software Astro, i have got my Pictures back but I can't locate my videos anywhere. To remind you, I just transferred them, not deleted them from mobile.

When i use a different phone, the problem goes away.
Could this be a fault be with the Microphone of my Desire?
One issue i am having is the stock weather widget on the lock screen. It will work fine for a few hours maybe, then will say "weather data not available". If I go into the weather app, it tells me to pull down to refresh content. Once I do that, the weather is shown on the lock screen for a few hours, then goes back to the same.
In the weather settings, "scheduled sync" and "update schedule" are greyed out. I suspect these are the settings I need to keep the weather data current, but I can't change them.
I have a new 5230 with OVI maps v3.04 installed.Anyone know how I can get to the weather option for the location I am currently viewing on the map?

I also want to retain the dock of the lockscreen though. So I just want to replace the lockscreen background to look like the weather app full screen.
Is this possible? Maybe putting the Weather app as a widget?
I've tried turning off knock code and using various passwords.... Nothing works.
The only thing I can think that might be the problem is the fact that I'm running on ART.
