View 6 RepliesThe weather app on my home screen doesn't always display the weather - it often says there is no data available. However, when I access the app and manually refresh the weather is displayed and remains when I return to the home screen. Is this an issue without Android 2.2 or is the handset at fault? The same app works perfectly on my Hero running on android 2.1
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an s6 and the factory installed 4x1 clock/weather app no longer works. The clock still keeps time, but the weather icon on the right hand side does not show the current weather, will not update, nor will it allow me to touch the widget and enter into the settings/different cities. It was working fine up until about a week ago. I've tried restarting my phone and removing/re-positioning the widget, but no luck. It can't be uninstalled as it came with OS.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have the Curve 9300, OS 6 and there's been a few apps I've gone to download and then I get an apology because my version of OS is not supported? Example is Weather Eye. Anything I can do about this, and is it because it's an older OS that DOES support as it doesn't say of course.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWe both have Iphone 4 with IOS 5.1. Noticed this issue after upgrade to latest IOS. In the weather app you can select cities that you want to follow weather-wise. I had around 10 cities selected. My wife had some other number. In any case I noticed one day that I only had 3 cities. Long story short I ran some tests and using either phone adding/deleting cities on one phone causes a sync to the other phone.
Info:
iPhone 4, iOS 5.1, Not tested under 3G.
i've been searching all over for a proper link for the storm version of weatherbug. i found weatherbug "direct". don't want that. also don't want to install app world (don't ask why).i gave up. i installed weathereye instead. don't like it as much but at least it's a weather app.
View 4 Replies View RelatedYesterday while listening to a podcast, I decided to check the weather. I clicked the home button and scrolled over to where the app is, and to my horror, all my apps were gone. I have ios5, but not the most recent update. When I check system storage in settings it shows that there is space being taken up by the apps, but there is nothing showing in the app count that shows up on that screen. I tried doing a hard reboot, I tried downloading a new app to see if it would bring them back and nothing works. I even tried enabling restrictions and disabling restrictions as well and no luck. I think I have a backup from a couple of weeks ago, but if I have to go that route, won't it erase my current text messages and pics? I'm wondering if I create a backup of the phone in its current state if that would reload the apps when I restore from this backup. This is not a jailbroken phone.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo on my Lumia 1020 the live tiles for the weather never update for any of the weather apps I have tried. (Amazing Weather, Weather Flow, etc). The only background apps I have running is the one for the weather app I am currently trying to use. I have sent logs to Amazing Weather and Weather Flow and from what they see the background task is running and not getting any errors, but still no updating.
View 7 Replies View RelatedThere are several weather related 3rd party apps being sold in the Apple App Store that offer to provide push notifications in the event of severe weather at the iPhone users location. However,I believe these apps are NOT pushing the warning out to users immediately when the National Weather Service issues the warning.I suspect it is due to how the app developers are handling (and footing the cost) of pushing the data. Many times the warning notification comes AFTER a storm has passed. This is extremely dangerous and it would be appreciated if Apple could investigate this problem, which could serve to help public safety.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI only had maybe v10 for a couple of days but I noticed that the weather icon on the second screen doesn't update with the home screen weather like my second screen weather icon is sunny but it's 7:54 at night.
View 12 Replies View RelatedIs there anyway to remove the weather symbol from the second screen? I don't use the built in weather widget but it continually shows 2 clouds on the second screen when main display is off.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm learning more about my G4 every day and like it very much so far. One of the things I enjoy is the weather animation on the lock screen. But it only shows the wanimation for a couple of seconds before it goes away. Is there a way to keep it on longer? It would be nice to keep the animation on as long as the lock screen is displayed.
View 6 Replies View RelatedBeen fiddling with my phone recently to stop the constant severe weather alerts, but now it seems I no longer have the option to enable the weather animation on my lock screen. It used to be there, but now it's gone. what I messed up and how to undo it?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI set my phone up for the weather to show up on the lock screen but it doesn't is this because of the IRIS scanner?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm looking for an app that can show the current temp on lock screen. Apps like lock temp or 4cstr doesn't show the negative temperature correctly. It can only show temp between 0 and 100.
For example here it's -12 Celsius right now and it shoes that as 88. That's not what I want
I don't see a setting anywhere. Surely there is a way to remove these items right?
View 8 Replies View RelatedOn my lock screen I've got the standard weather clock that comes with Sense 6 and below it there's a notification, but it only one. It shows a little arrow below it indicating that there's more notifications below and I can drag down to make the widget bigger. However this isn't saved and it airways reverts to showing just one.
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor some reason, I cannot get the weather to show up on the edge screen along with the time and date.
What I've tried:
* Going to Settings > Edge Screen > Information Stream (switched to on) > Weather (with Edge screen switched to "On")
* Going to the Weather Widget > More > Settings > Edge Screen set to on and Use Current Location set to on as well.
The odd thing is that I did see the weather show up on the edge screen just once before, but how to get it back again.
Is there a way to add the little weather widget/icon that you see on the galaxy phones on lock screen mode? (its and icon of clouds, sun, etc with temperature). I believe I had this option as some point and somehow deleted or was removed with last update. Galaxy S5 running latest 5.1 software..
View 5 Replies View RelatedHow the weather widget on the lock screen of the S5 works? This morning, I found that it remained completely non-current, still displaying the night's forecast at the end of the morning. It wasn't in line with either the accurateweather or the google now widget forecasts, so I guess that's not where the lock screen widget info comes from.
So I restarted my phone, and now the information isn't there anymore, even after a few hours. So how is this controlled?
I'm completely new to android devices. On my wife's Samsung Galaxy S5, it seems like the weather degrees on the lock screen does not update. Is there something possibly not turned on in the settings of this phone?
View 24 Replies View RelatedI just changed from Nokia to BB 8320, the missed call shows on the main screen with " You have 1 new missed call" "View / Close".Is it possible to have this clear notification when i receive a text sms?
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe weather widget used to appear on the home screen. Now, all that appears is the time/day/date.
Have tried all the different location settings (high accuracy, power saving, and GPS only) but doesn't resolve the problem.
Since the widget won't appear on home screen, the settings can't be accessed to check if there's anything odd there.
Samsung Galaxy S5.
How do I add clock and weather to my home screen?I would like to see every time I'm on my home screen
View 3 Replies View RelatedSometimes it shows the temperature correctly, but most of the time it just shows 0.0C.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI activated the Weather Channel app with my BB Curve 9900. The app is great, but every time I take the phone out of the holster, I get a pop up screen asking to save connectivity and location settings. How do I stop this? Do I have to uninstall it?
View 4 Replies View RelatedNot sure what I did but my home screen is missing the weather time and date. Not sure how to get it back
View 1 Replies View RelatedBefore you ask, I have gone to settings, lockscreen, additional information and it is set to "off" along with the weather being off. I was able to get it off once but when I did a restart, it showed back up and will not go away. It makes my clock on the locks creek small even though I have it selected to be large and I can't stand it overall. The only thing I want on my locks creek is the time. Also, I hate that it now says "verizon wireless" where the notifications were on the lockscreen.

View 2 Replies View RelatedLast night I picked up my Galaxy SII and must have accidentally deleted my AccuWeather widget off my home screen. I have tried pressing and holding the screen and looked through the widgets, and yes I found the AccuWeather.com widget, but when I drag it back onto my phone home screen. I get all weather for the next five days on my home screen as well, instead of just the current weather with the temperature etc.
View 5 Replies View RelatedDiscovered something annoying today - the touch screen doesn't respond when it gets even slightly cold. It's 46F here today and during my short run, the screen stopped responding to touch. After coming indoors for just a minute or so, it's working fine.I couldn't stop my workout right away, though, so my measurements are off - that's the annoying bit. Has anyone had similar issues?
