I can receive pictures but can't get weather map photos to appear. on my C5-03. A black screen with an "X" is the only thing that shows up. Is this a problem with the Nokia browser ??

I have an s6 and the factory installed 4x1 clock/weather app no longer works. The clock still keeps time, but the weather icon on the right hand side does not show the current weather, will not update, nor will it allow me to touch the widget and enter into the settings/different cities. It was working fine up until about a week ago. I've tried restarting my phone and removing/re-positioning the widget, but no luck. It can't be uninstalled as it came with OS.

However, when I access the app and manually refresh the weather is displayed and remains when I return to the home screen. Is this an issue without Android 2.2 or is the handset at fault? The same app works perfectly on my Hero running on android 2.1
View 2 Replies View RelatedWe both have Iphone 4 with IOS 5.1. Noticed this issue after upgrade to latest IOS. In the weather app you can select cities that you want to follow weather-wise. I had around 10 cities selected. My wife had some other number. In any case I noticed one day that I only had 3 cities. Long story short I ran some tests and using either phone adding/deleting cities on one phone causes a sync to the other phone.

When I insert a photo into a text message my C1-01 automatically forces the image(s) to be displayed as a slideshow. Is there any way to prevent this?I've found the MMS settings which allow me to say how long each slide should display for, but I can't see an option to turn off the creation of slideshows in the first place. It's particularly annoying when I'm sending just one photo. I don't need it to be displayed on the screen for x seconds, then to disappear! This is mostly a problem when texting my mum (who has a HTC Wildfire) as she is a novice phone user and struggles when receiving slide shows.
View 2 Replies View RelatedUntil I updated my C6-01 to Belle, I was satisfied with the quality of the photos, given the known restrictions of the fixed focus lenses.
After Belle update, I have this impression that almost every photo I take is out of focus. I allways use the virtual button on the camera app to shoot photos, and not the physical button on the right side of the phone. I have not dropped my phone on the ground or something. I allways take good care of the phone.
What do you C6-01 owners think of that?

View 5 Replies View RelatedOne issue i am having is the stock weather widget on the lock screen. It will work fine for a few hours maybe, then will say "weather data not available". If I go into the weather app, it tells me to pull down to refresh content. Once I do that, the weather is shown on the lock screen for a few hours, then goes back to the same.
In the weather settings, "scheduled sync" and "update schedule" are greyed out. I suspect these are the settings I need to keep the weather data current, but I can't change them.
I have a new 5230 with OVI maps v3.04 installed.Anyone know how I can get to the weather option for the location I am currently viewing on the map?

I also want to retain the dock of the lockscreen though. So I just want to replace the lockscreen background to look like the weather app full screen.

I activated the Weather Channel app with my BB Curve 9900. The app is great, but every time I take the phone out of the holster, I get a pop up screen asking to save connectivity and location settings. How do I stop this? Do I have to uninstall it?

But it only shows the wanimation for a couple of seconds before it goes away. Is there a way to keep it on longer? It would be nice to keep the animation on as long as the lock screen is displayed.

I went to check the sync settings and saw something that, to me, is really weird. The account for the weather service is syncing continuously. It's set to update every hour, but the sync is running, being completed, and then running again, over and over (it's like watching the screen flicker). A quick search of the fora returned a lot of results about the weather widget not updating, but nothing about sync going haywire.

For example here it's -12 Celsius right now and it shoes that as 88. That's not what I want
I downloaded a 3rd party weather app, removed the default Samsung weather widget from my home page, and added the 3rd party widget to my home page. As it turns out, the 3rd party app was buggy, so I removed it. I want to re-add the default S6 Edge weather widget to my home screen, but I can't find it.
I'm using Nova on ATT BTW. It seems that the widgets visible using Nova are slightly different from the widgets available using Touchwiz. How to re-add the default S6 edge weather widget?
