I bought my desire hd a few weeks ago and all been working fine, then suddenly today it can't send emails anymore. I've checked all the virginmedia imap/smpt settings and all is fine, my virgin webmail is also fine. Looking at the virgin forums, there are a lot of people with HTC desires saying similar, but no one with blackberries / iphones / Galaxy etc reporting, so I thought it might have something to do with HTC?
I can receive emails on my unlocked HTC Desire S and can on my original unlocked HTC Desire but cannot reply or send fresh email on either. The settings are OK as they worked previously, in fact only minutes earlier on the Desire S.When satisfied it all worked OK I took the Vodafone SIM out of the Desire S and put it in the Desire to see if the email issue still existed. It did. I put the SIM back in the Desire S and the problem has replicated itself. Now all I can do is receiveI am reluctant to put the SIM in my unlocked Samsung Galaxy S2 in case the problem occurs again.
I just got a Virgin Mobile iPhone 4S, and while I can make calls and receive texts, I cannot send out texts using SMS. I am able to send via iMessage to other iPhones. I have good strength and am on 3G.
All of a sudden I am unable to send emails and I have lost the "send" function when I reply to emails.I have removed my email address and re installed it but that doesn't seem to have made any difference.
I have used Windows Live Mail on my iPhone4 (Verizon) for some years and never had problems until yesterday when we changed web hosting to GoDaddy. Now I can no longer send emails from my iPhone. The messages just sit in the Outbox.
I am no longer able to send emails from my iPhone. At first, I was unable to send emails to anyone who sent an email to more than one person. Now, I can not send an email to anyone. I have rebooted, checked the server and deleted/recreated the account.
I can receive emails but not send. I have had my iphone 4 for a few weeks now and can't work out the problem. All the information is correct (password, account name, user name, port) and switched on but it doesn't work. I had an iphone before and it was fine so I know there's nothing wrong with my internet/server.
I can't send emails. It just suddenly happened. It doesn't recognize (filling in automaticly) any email I enter, doesn't have the option to "send" or add nem "to". I can only reply. Not even forward. I rebooted over and over again.
i'm able to recieve emails but unable to send on my iPhone 4s. this only started to happen recently, i have not made any changes to my phone of any sort, this just suddenly started to happen.¬
i took the phone to apple store and all they did was to delete the email account and added it again but the problem is still there, so they said that i should contact my email provider (hotmail) which is microsoft. i am able to send emails using my MAC and other computers so contacting hotmail will not sort this issue.¬
I have had the device for about 3 months and I have never had problems sending emails before, however over the last 3 days when I try and send an email it just sits in my outbox and then after a while it says failed. I receive emails fine so this is baffling me. I've noticed a similar problem was addressed however that is specific to getting an error 500 message and I don't get that. I tried the work through anyway but it still didn't solve the issue.
My torch works fine inside Canada where i live but when visiting US and Europe was unable to send emails however was able to receive emails.and I had purchased a roaming data plan from my provider . The internet connection status said "not connected " and when I returned home the emails were sent. fine.
I received a message from Blackberry saying emails not being delivered & to validate my password but when i try to log into my email account or settings i keep being told my username & or password are wrong! Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know how to resolve it
I'm suddenly unable to receive or send emails on my stupid BB. I'm told the account is invalid. All of a sudden. For no reason.I ', told I have to come here and reset my email account. Why?Nothing's changed.I haven't downloaded anything new to my phone. When I go the SET UP option and click on email account to try and fiox it, the phone freezes and I have to reboot.
My emails suddenly stopped arriving overnight. I have tried the two fixes previously suggested via the community - reboot and send service books, but with no joy despite receiving a message from the activation server that I would begin to receive new messages in apporx 20 minutes.

I'm having issues with my 4s email.I can receive but not send emails.I've already checked with my network provider who told me to contact my email providers.I then double checked with them what was the outgoing smtp server address which were correct.Still have issues though.Could this be an Icloud issue or does anyone know what to do, before I thow this phone in the bin!!!
Tried setting email up via auto and manual. For both instances emails come in, stick around a very short time and then disappear, whether read or not.Used same account on prev phone, SE Xperia x10 without a problem for 18 months.get it to work properly?
I joined Nokia Messaging service, downloaded the last version software using my Nokia E71 phone. When I signed for the service it asked me for my email account details, so I could not put the settings manually. The hotmail account works fine, but the other account cannot send messages. I cannot change the outgoing settings using my phone and I cannot edit the information on the nokia messaging website.
The incoming server seems to be ok (mail1.doctors.org.uk) but I cannot change the server details : smtp2.realmail-asp.co.uk. My provider is Tmobile (they gave me this: smtp.t-email.co.uk) they were not helpful and told me that they mainly support blackberry. My email accounts were working fine until I installed Nokia Messaging. I find Nokia Messaging very professional for messaging, but unsure if I will be able to make it work.
I Have an E72 RM-529 . Sof. Version: 022.007.244.02 After in run the mentioned update, i am unable to send emails from my mobile. All of them keep in Outgoing Tray, never leave the mobile. I made no changes to its setup and it wasd working fine with previous version 021.xxxxxx.
Recently I have been unable to send messages from my Hotmail account on my BB Torch, the message initially appears to have sent OK then after a few seconds a red cross is displayed and the Message Status changes to General Failure.
The phone in question is a Samsung Galaxy S5, SM-G900A, factory unlocked, Straight Talk as the service provider. Unless I am connected to WiFi, I am unable to create an "Email" account and I can't send emails through Mobile Data. After being given the runaround, I am officially saying that there IS a problem with the default "Email" app and NOT my service provider. I downloaded Yahoo Mail app directly to my phone and, guess what, I can send and receive emails just fine through my Mobile Data where I can' do it at all when I try to set up my Yahoo Mail account through the default "Email" app.
I'm trying to set up my email on my new Admiral and I've run into a bit of a snag. I'm able to receive emails just fine, but it appears I'm having no such luck trying to send even a test message. Given I have no problems doing so in Outlook, Thunderbird, and on my old Blackberry, I have to believe there is something android related that's giving me complications. I'm using the standard android email application (No Hotmail/Yahoo/Gmail) for an IMAP email account (No Enterprise/Corporate Sync/etc.).
I have entered the server info, port info, username info identical to what appears on my outlook/thunderbird server settings to no avail. If I was given some sort of error message when the email is not sent I would post it, but the only thing that happens is I get a notification on the top bar saying "Email not sent". If I try to access the message to get insight on an error, I am simply redirected to the email message in the outbox with no explanation.
