Nokia :: E71 Messaging Stopped Syncing Gmail

I have Nokia E71 with latest NMessaging (9.06.24) installed. It worked like a charm for the last 1.5 months but on Feb. 5 Inbox stopped syncing. I have the only mailbox on Gmail connected. The connection icon is green and round as it is supposed to be. Manual Sync clicking does the icon rolling and then nothing happens. My new incoming emails are not in the list. Sent folder is synced just fine. Previous e-mails also work perfectly as I can download truncated messages and attachments. Gmail's own app works perfectly and downloads all new messages.
Nokia, what happened? If you intended Eseries as a Blackberry competitor it is the worst move to disregard the key functionality like emails.Also I purposefully don't want to reinstall anything. Why should I? It is a branded service that must work without "surgery" of any kind. How I can rely on such service that giving no warning just stops working.
You should concentrate on this very important issue and provide you official solution.

My Razr's calendar stopped syncing to my gmail calendars. Gmail account settings all say to sync everything. The only calendar offered for a new appointment is "phone storage. Only calendar that shows in Calendar settings is "phone storage".

I have installed Nokia messaging on my nokia E72 and I have some problems setting my gmail account to work in push mode.
In particular, I would like that my gprs/umts internet connection doesn't stay always active.
When a new mail arrives to the server, server sends a notification to my E72, and E72 automatically connects to internet to download the new mail but after this, connections still remains active.
Is it possibile to turn off internet connection as soon as nokia messaging finishes to download new mail? I don't want connections remains always active as in blackberries smartphones, is it possibile or what I want is only a dream?

I have Nokia Messiging installed on my e71x and it's been working fine until about a month ago. I can no longer get my Gmail account at all. When I try adding the account it takes me through all the steps but at the end of it there is no Gmail Icon and it isn't in the settings page either. Why doesn't Gmail work anymore?

Nokia messaging worked great untill 2 days ago when it stopped syncing my gmail account, I tried reinstalling nokia messaging and deleted my acount and added my account again. It syncs all my emails up to the 14th of April and does not go further. Can someone help me solve this issue?

I've had my 5800 for a couple of weeks now and when I got it I set up my gmail account with the built in email client under messaging. Everything was working fine. Since yesterday I have not been able to get any new emails to show up on my phone. I've deleted and re-added the mail box and old messages show up and I can view older emails but no new ones? I've checked all of my gmail settings, and I do in fact have new emails sitting there but no joy.

Are there any known issues with Nokia Messaging on an E71 and the recent Firmware v4 upgrade? I recently upgraded to Firmware v400.21.0013 on my Nokia E71. After the upgrade, I can no longer view my Gmail account via Nokia Messaging the front screen.

I am wandering if nokia employee can assist to delete my nokia messaging accounts. I registered two accounts by using a Gmail and a Hotmail address. But now I want to delete them for a future registration, in which I would combine these two accounts.

Been using this for ages, roaming and all over - always convincing folk that its a thinking persons BB. But it seemed to have stopped working on thurs 4th for some reason. Have the green circle and all the screen looks good, all other apps work fine FB and Twitter.

It would seem that there are a number of people with E72 and Nokia Messaging (email.nokia.com) that have recently started to experience problems with their service. I can now add myself to that list.
As of yesterday Nokia Messaging stopped updating on my E72. I have made no changes and not installed anything on my E72 for weeks. However, Nokia Messaging is working properly on my E71 (I use the same Nokia Messaging account on both my E71 and my E72).

I was tempted to suggest E72 and Nokia Messaging as cost efficient alternative to BlackBerry Bold and BES. However, the low reliability of Nokia Messaging as well as no dedicated support has gotten me to think twice before I dare to suggest that to my clients.

Last week my gmail inbox in the phone went empty. I have realized that my 97 is not syncing any more. I have tried to re-install the software (nokia messaging) but without results. I don't want to contact Nokia because they will only ask me to do a hard reset and I am sick of doing that.

I subscribed to Nokia messaging using my Gmail ID, but due to some reasons, decided to reload the phone software, and hence unsubscribed.
Now when I subscribe again using the same mail Id, and changed password, the system registers me, but when I try to log in to manage my account, it does not accept my new password, and asks me to log in using the password which I used when I first registered. Even after supplying that password, it does not allow me to log in and show up the following message:"We are unable to process your request at this time. Try again later."

The Nokia Messaging email widget just stopped working at 5pm Pacific Daylight Time on Tuesday, July 27. Now every time I open up the email widget, it keeps asking me for my password and says login unsuccessful when I enter the password and try to login.Just an hour earlier, it was working fine.
By the way, I'm in Vancouver, Canada.

Suddenly nokia messaging stopped synching on my telephone (N97) at 5th of february 10:00 am (dutch time)The log file shows the following:
Sync: last sync failed
Info sync modus: slow (strange because its set to fastest in the application settings)
Error: end of file (error -25) Error in Eaplugin
Infosync: stopped
What did I do this morning: Re-entered passwords for mailaccounts, re-entered password for mainaccount by nokia messaging, re-installed nokia messaging, re-booted my N97 several times...Nothing helped so far, i'm still not receiving mail on the accounts which I set up with nokia messaging. These are @hotmail, @live end @gmail accounts.

What is the best and easiest way to sync with your Gmail calendar? I've tried using MfE but all I seem to be able to do is sync my emails. My method for doing this is Menu > Email > Email > New > MfE . I'm assuming this is how to do it but there is also a Sync program within Menu > Ctrl Panel > Phone > Sync where you can create a new sync profile but I don't think this is it.

Since downloading the new Nokia Messaging client 10.2.0.4 (Main) on my N97 Mini (11.0.045) it refuses to sync with my gmail account (it worked prior to downloading the new client via Software update on the phone).
I've tried changing the "When to Sync" setting to soonest or 15 mins etc but that makes no difference.If I change the access point it will open a connection (which it wont have done until this point) but still no sync. It never seems to close the connection, unless the phone is rebooted.Anyone have the new messaging client working ?

Nokia messaging decided to stop receiving emails last week, even when i clicked send receive. Yesterday i reflashed and today i deleted and readded the email accounts on the email.nokia.com site. My emails came through and i thought it was fixed, and now, just half hour later, it's stopped receiving again.

Couple of days back I faced a very strange issue where the application stopped syncing emails. I called the help line here in India and they asked me to format the phone. All done and application re-installed still it was not working. Then suddenly it started working and was working fine till this afternoon.Now again the sync is not working. Is there a problem with Nokia messaging server or it is the phone which is having this issue. Are you guys facing similar issues with the email sync lately.

Now it doesn't want to connect to Gmail. Says "Unable to connect to imap.gmail.com Server name or port number may be incorrect". Everything, including the Gmail access was working perfectly until yesterday when I installed the firmware update.I am just curious, how could a reputable company like Nokia release such a **bleep** firmware update? Or this is what we suppose to be getting with this free amature software?

I thought i set things up right in making my Gmail account the primary one that my BB uses to send/receive mail. On the main menu
there is the icon of the mail folder, and the similar looking one with the small Globe next to it. Both folders appear to receive identical messaging. On my prior Sanyo handset with Sprint, I just used a standalone Gmail-Mobile app. and didn't do any 'push' type configuration...which would be fine for me with the BB. Is there some reason that there are essentially 'two mail folders' or can i eliminate that situation? Also, I use this gmail account as a sort of catch-all for my business's domain email address - i simply have that one set to Forward to Gmail. So, if I send from my 'regular (mail@domain.com) i will typically get a reply to both my regular DN email box, as well as a forwarded one to the Gmail inbox.... However, since assiging Gmail to my BB, i've found that i get random bouncebacks on my email clients on my office and studio computers when i send to certain recipients whom i routinely send stuff to. I can't help thinking it's something to do with the BB.It seemed more prevalent when i was using the Gmail Mobile app on the BB, so i stopped using that- and now just get the Gmail on the BB as my mail account. how to clean this up and is there any known issue about using Gmail Mobile app. - Like, if i wanted to deactivate it as my BB mail account, shouldn't i be able to just use the standalone app. for my email access or...am i missing something?

I just upgraded to 2.3.4 or 4.5.91.MB860.ATT.en.US, whatever you want to call it. Now, Gmail doesn't show up in the Messaging app, only my texts and Yahoo email. Is this a 'feature,' or can I do something to get Gmail back in the messaging app?

Yo, I just switched from the Xperia Z1S to the M8....Only issue I'm running into thus far is syncing my contacts down from Gmail. I backed up all my contacts through Gmail and I can't do the bluetooth option cause the old phone won't power up. (Not as waterproof as they claimed).

I have a Nokia E71 just update to the firmware 410.21.010. I did not recovered backup after the upgrade and I formatted the memory card, so it's completely clean.
Now, Nokia Email has appear as new included application so I would like to use it, but when I configure my email account (form a supported services: ovi, gmail, etc...), the wizard only configures my mobile for the typical IMAP client. It's strange, because I have a different E71 also update to this same firmare and Nokia Messaging works fine and creates the Nokia Messaging account.How could use Nokia Messaging with my E71?. Is there some way to create a Nokia Messaging account form the web instead from the phone?.
