Mar 11, 2012Since I updated my iphone 4 with the software for iphone 4s my ical on my imac won't synch with my iphone calendar. Also events are duplicated. I have to check both calendars to ensure I don't miss any events and have to physically re enter them separately into the different calendars.

May 14, 2012Everything was working perfectly until about 2 weeks ago (the last time a Calendar event synced).Not sure if there was an iTunes update around this time? Now my iPhone looks as if it's syncing through iTunes, but afterwards Contacts/ Notes are updated, but not Calendar....I've checked all the default calendar settings, rebooted both, done 'detect & repair' on Outlook.... no use. This is a nightmare as I keep all the information about my meetings (addresses, phone numbers etc) in my calendar for when I'm out and about - I NEED to fix this asap?

Jun 27, 2014I sync my iPhone 5 with iTunes every day. In the course of charging. Now, I get an error message advising that mail accounts cannot by synced as the mail accounts are in use by the iPhone. This is new to me and is, frankly, more than an irritant if I have to turn mail accounts off.Â

I tried to turn off iMessages and back on, then tried to activate with my email address and when I try to sign in with apple id it goes to the screen where it shows the email address, and when I hit next it displays "verifying" and then goes back to the sign in page. I am currently not in range for cellular signal but I am on wifi. Shouldn't I be able to sign in with just my email address, as now it does not display my phone # because I do not have a cellular signal?

It is partially working - it sends messages from my "appleid" which is my college e-mail address that I no longer have access to, and many people I communicate with do not have. How can I get it to send/recieve iMessages using my phone number again? Â
When I go into Messages, and iMessage, and type in my id, it says "waiting for activation". In the meantime, I can still send/recieve messages using my email, but not my phone number. I have tried rebooting my phone, resetting network settings, resetting all settings, and nothing seems to work. I am constantly connected through wifi, and I cannot figure out the issue.Â

IPhone :: USB Tethering Suddenly Stopped Working On OS X Lion
Mar 16, 2012Yesterday, I updated the iPhone configuration utility to v 3.5 and I was using the internet via iPhone USB tethering, as soon as the update finished, my iPhone USB tethering stopped working and its not working any more. I am on OS X Lion 10.7.3 using iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1. Now I figured out that running the OS in 32 bit lets me do USB tethering, but in 64 bit the iPhone USB Network Service shows on the right:
"Either the cable for iPhone USB is not plugged in or the device is not responding."
I've tried everything with keeping iTunes running, reinstalling iTunes, re-installing iPhone configuration Utility, but nothing seems to work! I guess the main culprit here is the new iPhone Configuration Utility v 3.5. It is so annoying to see such things breaking existing functionality. It has nothing to do with my Phone, because it works on my other Macbook Pro which I did not update and on my friends Snow Leopard.

Mar 27, 2012So I've had my iPhone for probably about 4 months, and up until about 2 or 3 weeks ago, WiFi was working fine on it. Then, one day, I left home and came back a few hours later, and I couldn't connect to the home network. I can still see the network, and it comes up with the signal strength and everything seems normal, but then I go to connect and a message pops up saying "Unable to join network [Home]".
