IPhone :: The Syncing Of 4 And Mac-air Calendar Has Stopped Working?
Jun 28, 2012
The syncing of my iPhone 4 and mac air calendar has stopped working. Everything is fine on the mac but the iPhone is not current. I am using iCloud. how to get this corrected!
I downloaded the new software for my iPhone 4S, it has stopped syncing my calendar and contacts with my home Outlook. Any new contacts or events I enter into Outlook won't show up on my phone and any new contacts or events I enter in my phone won't show up with Outlook. I use the USB port to sync every few days with my computer. Nothing has been erased, i.e. all my old events and contacts are still there, but nothing new will add. I have not changed any settings on my phone or on itunes, and I even turned off the overall calendar option and selected single calendars to try, but to no avail.
I bought my iPhone yesterday, was using it without any problems. Was syncing with iTunes and it just stopped working. Will not reset. No image on screen. Nothing works.
It worked great for a few weeks then when something updated automatically and no more sync .I get a "operation terminated unexpectedly" pop-up. I've read through the forums and tried putting an end time on my recurring dates, and followed the instructions on the iloptcfg.cfg file and still no go.Address, memo and tasks works fine, but the calendar won't. I even uninstalled the BB Desktop manager (v5.0) and reinstalled v4.7 and no go.
My Razr's calendar stopped syncing to my gmail calendars. Gmail account settings all say to sync everything. The only calendar offered for a new appointment is "phone storage. Only calendar that shows in Calendar settings is "phone storage".
My Galaxy S5 is set up to synchronize with my Microsoft exchange server. Emails synchronize perfectly and calendar events entered on my Microsoft exchange account synchronize with my Galaxy S5. The problem is, calendar events entered on my Galaxy S5 do not synchronize to my Microsoft Exchange calendar.
My Iphone 4S stopped syncing up to Win 7 32 bit HP Laptop, AFTER I hooked up and authenticated new Ipad to this laptop.. It was working 2 months before this.. Using Itunes 10.6.1.7..
I have a Imac (10.6.8) and a Iphone running ver 5.01. I also have Goofle sync installed. For some reason my iCal has stopped syncing back and forth between the to devices. Contacts seems to work fine, add a contact on either, and it almost immediately shows on the other device?
Is it best to update to the latest version on my Imac to take advantage of syncing through the cloud? If I am correct, with version 10.6.8, I can not sync through my icloud account, correct?
My iPhone 4 stopped syncing with Outlook when I upgraded to 2010 from 2007. I have tried about everything I know and have found on the Apple support site. I have 5.1 on the phone 10.6.0.40 on my iTunes. If its a bug, you would think it would have been fixed with the latest update.
I could wirelessly sync up until about 2 weeks ago. I have tried all the tricks and I know itunes has to be open, my wireless box is checked, I have renewed the lease on my wifi, have restarted my computer, unplugged mid-sync and after a sync without ejecting the device. I don't know what else to try.
I've been using iPhone 4s since January and it has worked flawlessly until about 2 weeks ago... right around the time I upgraded to 5.1.1. It still syncs Outlook 2010 contacts but has stopped syncing calendars. I have no idea why??? I've removed and reinstalled iTunes and associated apps but to no avail.
Info: iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1, Outlook 2010 running on Windows 7

It was working fine but now will not sync with iCal, iCloud or iPad. I tried turning off Calendars (settings>iCloud>Calendars) and restarting, and now it is worse. Now when I go to 'Calendars' at the bottom of my calendar, iCloud doesn't even show up as a possibility.
My iPhone4 and laptop have stopped communicating/syncing in terms of emails. IE: If I delete an email on my phone, it used to automatically delete on my computer, and vice versa. Now, nothing.
I'm gonna try and explain this as simply as possible (as it's for my dad, so I'll have to explain it to him the same way)! My dad likes using the native IPhone 3G calendar for keeping his appointments. However, he doesn't use the calendar in Outlook, so when he needs to enter something into the IPhone calendar, he has to do it right on the phone.
What he'd like to do is be able to enter the info into a PC-based calendar via the keyboard (he says it's much faster because of the amount of info he's entering), and then have it sync the info into the IPhone calendar. Again, He does not use outlook calendar. So what I'm basically asking is this is there a PC-based calendar program that he could use that would then allow ITunes to sync his PC-based calendar to his IPhone calendar?
Entries from my iPhone (v. 5.1) are not syncing to my iCal using iTunes. If I then enter the info into iCal I end up with duplicate entries on my phone.
My iphone always used to sync my outlook calendar from my desktop computer to my iphone and ipad whenever I connected the device to the desktop. Something has happened and now no matter what setting I change the outlook calendar will not show on either device.
I have one calendar that is in a different section when I look at the calendars list that says "on my phone."It doesn't sync with icloud like the ones in the section below it called "Untitled Account".The phone made it the default calendar for some reason and now a BUNCH of appointments don't show up on the other calendars. How do I fix this.I want all the calendars accessed everywhere!
All were syncing and now, nothing is syncing.Iphone calendar is not syncing to Icloud. Microsoft outlook is not syncing to Icloud. Not sure what is going on, but I need this working!
Items I've added to the calendar on my iPhone 3GS (running IOS 5.1.1) won't sync to iCal on my Mac. It works fine the other way around (from iCal to iPhone).
have an iPhone 3GS and 'upgraded' to iTunes 9.1 yesterday. My PC uses Windows XP running Outlook 2003. Ever since the download I can no longer sync my contacts or calendar. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, turned my computer off, reset the Sync history in iTunes and now restored the iPhone - still to no avail. Does anyone have any clues?
