I updated my n97mini to the latest firmware and I was checking maps app but its not the same as in the website I mean there is something's are missing and the gps is not working and the whole app is not working what can I do ,, how can I get all the features in the app

Sorry if this has been asked already but a couple of things :How do I check what maps are actually installed on my phone?How do I know if there are newer map versions available than whats installed on my phone?Im asking this because I noticed the Ireland map on maps.ovi.com is more up to date than whats on my phone. I installed the Ireland map again using ovi suite on my pc but it's still missing some new details that are found on the maps.ovi.com map.
View 16 Replies View RelatedI have Maps v3.01 loaded on my 6710 Navigator (came with free worldwide licence) and Map Loader v3.0.28 on my PC.
How do I tell which maps are loaded on my Nokia and what version/date the maps availalble on Map Loader are? Map Loader does not state which maps are already on my phone, nor does it state the date or version of the maps which can be uploaded. Obviously, I'd like to install newer versions of my country map if and when it is available, but how do I know which version is available and which I already have? Ovi.com does not seem to be the answer either as all maps were downloaded using Map Loader.
I updated my N97 to version 2 yesterday and downloaded the news maps OTA, but it says it is version 3.01. Isn't the latest one 3.03?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia N97, happily using Ovi Maps and recieved a text stating newer, better more efficient version now available, so I updated through the software updater, and now it WILL NOT NAVIGATE. I use mine in offline mode, so it uses GPS only, and it finds me, and my current lcoation very quickly, but then when you add a route it just locks onto "Waiting for GPS" with a map image of my destination address, and no matter where I am location wise the GPS navigation NEVER starts. A family member has an N97 also, from another network provider, and exactly the fault has appeared on there N97 since upgrading to the newer maps program. Also on both phones the satnav GPS signal strength indicator has been removed from the screen on newer ovimaps so you cannot even see what is happening.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have put a 8GB memory card in my new phone. When I try to update my Nokia maps the uploader only installs nokia maps v1.0. Uploader says I have version 0.0.13h? It won't install the latest maps version 3.0. I copied the files from the memory card which came with the phone to my 8GB card but this doesn't fix the problem.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI tried to install Ovi maps 3.03 but during the installation, it says there's not enough memory and it asks me to delete something from the C:. But I didn't really put much in C: and I don't know what I can delete without affecting the system.So, when I open "Maps" now, the old version still pops out (it says 3.01 when I click into "About"),but apparently the installer in the PC suite thinks I have 3.03 already.What should I do?
View 9 Replies View RelatedWith the trial I had with 3.0.1 I was able to use Maps and it's history. When I clicked to travel by car, set destination, I was able to select 'History' there. The strange thing is, since I upgrade to 3.0.3 / FW40 (latest free version) the 'History' option was gone. Only Search and From maps are still available. I did a lot of navigation since the installation but the 'History' button did not came back. At first I thought it was something with the software but I did a Hard-Reset (Camera+Green+Red) and did an update using SW-update. Still the same. I formatted my microSD card just before I did the reset just to make sure it wasn't the data on the card. I also downloaded the Europe maps for offline instalation but this does not resolve the issue. Any ideas? I could not find an answer on the internet. History accessible after upgrade from FW v31 to v40. Why is it gone on my Nokia 5800 Express Music (FW 40.005)?

if i click my position or drive ot anything else it sais on the top of the screen waiting for GPS and it doesnt do anything. it has no signal, i dont know.
My wife and I live in Beijing now, the GPS of N97i and N97mini are really useful for us. However, I have to say, we often suffer "no place founded" when we wanna drive to even a famous car shop. In Nokia Ovi maps, size of Beijing map is only 25M, but in Route66, size is about 60M, which is quite easy for us to find even small place. Nokia should update the maps locally and timely. Nokia China team should take care of China maps to give a better user experience.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia 500 with Belle installed (vers: 111.021.0028) and Nokia Suite vers 3.6.36.On the 17.12.2012 I've installed the latest version of Romania maps: 00.02.47.103 and since then I get the same error message 'car navigation cannot start at this location'. I can access the maps, I get the correct position but the problem occurs when I try to navigate to any address. It doesn't seem to have an actual issue with the location because I've tried several locations in Bucharest and got the same error.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have been using Nokia maps on my E71, and I have updated to the latest version, which deleted the maps present on the phone. I now cannot load any maps onto it. While connected to my PC the maps application says that the maps on my phone are corrupt, but I cannot delete them, or load new ones. I have tried deleting the cities folder, and deleting the qf file, but get the same error. I also reinstalled Ovi suite on my PC, same error. I cannot uninstall the maps app on my phone.

For me it just says "Turn right in 1 mile" .. no street name! It would be very helpful if this feature was included. View 4 Replies View RelatedI am using a nokia 5230 with maps 3.03.When i click on my position inside the app it doesn't locate any satellites, the bottom where the bars are there is only one yellow flashing light.When i click a location and select drive to, it just gets stuck on waiting for GPS and the yellow light for satellites keeps blinking and im outside without any cloud cover!.
Also one more thing, i downloaded the male_us voice pack, what folder do i put it in for it to show up? i tried putting it in E:citiesmale_us and in E:citiesdiskcachemale_us and E:citiesdiskcacheviocesmale_us and none of them show up in the options where you slect them.it still prompts me to download them.i don't have a data plan and this phone doesn't support WIFI.
I can't get into my xperia z3 after downloading the new update. I did it yesterday (24/7-15). It only says that Android is starting and that the phone is optimizing apps...after a while my phone doesn't work at all or just restarts again.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi installed the latest update 071.004 on e72, now text message doesn't work properly. i have to switch off and on once to recieve the msgs. most of the msgs i send will go n sit in outbox. i have to manually select each one and select send option in outbox to send them. Also found problems with bluetooth. send via bluetooth option doesn't work. it doesn't even search for the the devices available.I am also getting 'memory full-close some applications' error in messaging and also in the browsers.my phone has about 191Mb of free space and mem card(8gb) 5.6gb free.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a N85 Navi which I bought less than a year ago. I updated this week the maps and the application (latest version)and added one voice for the navigation. After this update when I open the Maps and select Settings and Navigation (to change i.e. voice), Maps closes automatically without any error messages. I can open all the other settings sub-menus. Any ideas why this is happening? Do I have the to re-install the application, maps and voices?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am using Nokia Maps 3.03 on my E71 (language: German) plus Nokia Map Loader 3.0, but I am experiencing several problems: Nokia Maps goes online via Internet for a few seconds (which costs me) although I set it to my Wireless connection. How can I switch that off? Every time I load a new map (and voices) via Map Loader and then start the software on my E71, it tells me that the maps are out-dated and I need to delete them. But then I do not see any maps in the software, and also the load of the voice is gone.
