I have had this tone for a while and I think it started only playing about 50% of it when I updated to WP8.1 Dev Preview. I've been hanging on to see if Cyan fixed it, but it hasn't. The funny thing is, every once in a while (maybe once per week) it will play the whole thing.

Jun 14, 2010So the 'Normal' profile of my 9700 (Phone) is set up to play ALWAYS simply because it is on my desk in the office, it is not in the holster, and I want to hear when it rings.
I also have a ring tone that I downloaded (not the default).I noticed that when the phone is in the holster and it rings, as soon as I take it out from the holster the ring tonne changes from the one I set up to the default AT&T ring tone.

Nokia N97 :: Startup Error Is Due To SD Card?
Jan 13, 2010I have the following issue with my N97. Hope someone can shed some light on this. The last time I charged my N97 it just charged continuously without stopping when the battery was full. I didnt think too much of it, but during the same day the phone froze on me. Upon rebooting it stuck on the Nokia start-up screen and just stayed like that, the phone even started to get warm. I have since tried several times to switch it on but it stays stuck on the Nokia start-up screen. Oddly enough, when I removed the SD card and switched it on it worked! I have now tried to switch it on several times with the SD card inserted, no luck, without the card, no problem at all! This is obviously not the solution to remove the SD card each time I need to switch my phone on. Could this be a software problem? Has anybody had the same issue?

It's been plugged into the charger for over an hour and won't do anything, won't display the charging screen or start up. However when I do connect it to the computer my PC makes the "hardware connected" sound then the "hardware disconnected" sound immediately after, despite the device apparently being unpowered.

Jun 26, 2010This is only the second time this has happened since I got the phone a few weeks back.I have all of my messages set to different specific ringtones. My SMS to one, my MMS to one, my email to one etc. So tonight I rcvd an email and instead of playing the tone it always plays that it is set for (one of the generic preloaded notifier tones)... it played my SMS tone (which is an actual song tone) to alert me to my email.
And NO I didnt recieve a new SMS at the same time. That folder is empty and the only red star alert was on my email envelope. Like I said this is very, very few and far between but why would this happen??I went over every one of my sound/alert settings and they are all the way they should be set for my liking.
