Today is the 1st month anniversary with my Lumia 800 but something happened. this morning this phone works great. but suddenly its restart,after that just showing Nokia and then vibrate n restart again,i trying to plug charger its doesnt work, sometimes it show battery on the screen with lowbatt indicator

I can only access the drag down bar and the settings on it. also i can take phone calls. but i cant interact with the display itself whatsoever.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have the following issue with my N97. Hope someone can shed some light on this. The last time I charged my N97 it just charged continuously without stopping when the battery was full. I didnt think too much of it, but during the same day the phone froze on me. Upon rebooting it stuck on the Nokia start-up screen and just stayed like that, the phone even started to get warm. I have since tried several times to switch it on but it stays stuck on the Nokia start-up screen. Oddly enough, when I removed the SD card and switched it on it worked! I have now tried to switch it on several times with the SD card inserted, no luck, without the card, no problem at all! This is obviously not the solution to remove the SD card each time I need to switch my phone on. Could this be a software problem? Has anybody had the same issue?

I live in Huddersfield so why does it finally change from the unwanted world map to an unwanted map of Birmingham? Am I doing something wrong (I do, of course, regularly clear out my temp files)

View 4 Replies View RelatedBacked up my X6 today then attempted to update to the latest software version.Ovi suite told me it couldn't connect to the update service and to try again later.So I turn it all off and now my phone won't start up at all. It's been plugged into the charger for over an hour and won't do anything, won't display the charging screen or start up. However when I do connect it to the computer my PC makes the "hardware connected" sound then the "hardware disconnected" sound immediately after, despite the device apparently being unpowered.

And I've encounted one issue that's really bugging me.When I start Maps, and the phone starts searching for satellites, the Maps program hangs for some reason. This happens quite offen. The rest of the phone works fine, but I can't use Maps. But if I restart the phone the program works fine.Sometime later when I try again, then the problem occurs again.Is there anyone else that has this problem, and does anyone know of a solution?The phone is currently running firmware 21.006 and Ovi Maps 3.03

After I powerup the phone, in about 30 seconds it starts connecting to internet without having any application running. Even when I try to disconnect the opened connection, it reconnects back by itself in about 1-2 seconds.Could you advice me what should be done in order not to have this "automatic" data connection at startup?

View 4 Replies View Relatedive had the Nokia n8 for a year and ive hated every single day of that year...... the nokia n8 is THE most problametic phone ive ever had.... and will be my last ever nokia phone. no matter what i do i get the nokia startup failed contact retailer. yes ive restarted my phone at least 100 times ...... yes i literally restarted my phone 100 times no exagaration.... my phone will start up like usual ..... then after a while it will give me the nokia n8 startup failed contact retailer is there any way to get this fixed without having to reset the whole phone to factory settings??.... ive been able to bypass the startup failed contact retailer by quickly quickly clicking on the small button on the left that then gives me the menu with all my applications but realisticly i shouldn't have to go through all the work to get my phone up...

i just downloaded DataLog on my Belle'd E6 and N8 and i was wondering if there is a way to make it auto-load at startup. It has to be running to add data to the log, apparently.
View 1 Replies View Relatedand cured it? I downloaded the Nokia mail (for S60), set up 2 accounts with no problem and can use the mail with no difficulties. However, every time I start my phone, the question "Allow application to use network to send or receive data?" comes up. If I reply "No" then everything continues as normal. If I say "yes" the email setup wizard starts for setting up a new account. Does anyone know how to stop this startup behaviour?

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter loading up some MP3s and a widget (a flashlight app) via bluetooth, I turned off my Nokia 5233. Next morning turned it on but it wouldn't go farther than the Nokia logo on white. Removed battery, left a few minutes, same thing. Removed battery, removed 2Gb memory card while phone was off, reinserted battery, turned it on, phone came back to life. Reinserted mem card; it was recognized, all apps (installed on the card) and music/photos were there, everything worked.However, if I turn off the phone and later on again, it's the same, can't boot further than logo screen unless I boot with the mem card out and insert it later. I guess mem card is corrrupted, and yes, checked that there were now 2 icons for that flashlight app. Removed the app via the app manager, there's still one icon left. Trying to remove it via the Organize->Remove command gives a 'File Corrupted' mesage and it can't de deleted; it doesn't run either. Is there a way to remove this 'corrupted' file?So guess there's no option but re-formating mem card, is it? I've backed up all photos but really dread having to re-install all the apps I had on it. Is there a way to check for mem card integrity or fix it without having to clean it off?

The next morning the phone had shut down by itself and when I tried turning it on I got white lines accross the screen. That happened for a few more times (sometimes blue or green or red lines), and after I removed and put the battery back in the following has been happening since then : Starting the phoneWhite screen with Nokia logo shows upMessage "Phone start-up failed. Contact the retailer". Phone hangs. If I press the shut down button, lines appear and fade out before phone shuts down.
I tried the hard reset method, but either I am doing it wrong, or it just doesn't apply here. I tried connecting it to my PC, but it is not recognised (probably because a message to select PC Suite doesn't show up). The phone is a few months outside warranty, so it is not financially wise (or viable) to send it for repairs. I am an advanced user and I'm willing to try any flashing utilities guides to restore it to working condition. Could it be the battery needing a switch? I tried removing the memory card & SIM, but the problem persists.
I'd really be grateful to you if could help me out with this. I have got a locked Nokia N91. I went to a local mobile repair shop which claims to unlock branded phone. While it was being unlocked, the phone got some error for some unknown reason and now whenever I start my phone, all it says is ' phone start-up failed, contact the retailer' the repairer says the phone's IMEI is damaged which I have confirmed from various repair shops and would need some RPL file (which I haven't got any idea about) and since Nokia servers are down its not possible right now, he tells me to wait for a bit before the servers are up on the run again. I have no idea if its even true. All I want to know is Can My Phone really be Repaired? And if Yes whats the Criteria for doing so? And if i take my phone to Nokia repair shop. I am afraid they would not fix it since they haven't got a license to unlock branded phones.
View 5 Replies View RelatedSince the Belle upgrade for some reason and very randomly I start receiving a "system error" at startup. Phone freezes and have to be restarted. It happens 1:100 but it happens.
Moreover, at startup a pop up appears with the new sms messages, but it starts looping and the only way to turn it off is to press the menu button and change view.
Every time I turn my E72 on I get the message "Installing Applications from memory card". After a while it fails.I know I have to delete some files from the memory card to correct this but I forget which ones. Can someone help me?
