I am using the latest Ovi Suite (Hungarian ver.)Iha ve tried to install the Nokia_Configuration_Tool_5.0.exe, but it tells me that I have not installed the Nokia PC Suite and I have to install the NPC first. But how if it is there?

The tool fails downloading the firmware file (.ffu) due to checksum error. It will retry and get stuck again at 100%.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI bought a new E55 unlocked.I have a problem with it, i am only able to install j2me but cant install any sisx apps.ive tried downloading new ones e.g. from www.fring.com for my OS directly on the phone and also gmaps, stright from the phone browser but all in vain it gives an error "Unable to install" i checked the settings in App manager and set it to all software installation and online check is desabled, tried to install again, no victory, same error. tried to update firmware to this new version from pc, it failed, halted the ongoing update then tried OTA , it succeeded but the version it updated it to is 022.009 and not the latest tried software installation again, got the same error my mind is boggled as to what is going on any ideas guys.Ps: i went into *#0000# and then into options and update still gets the 022.009 version my variant is "asia pacific" region.

I just got a new 7020 phone which came with an usb cable but no applications disk. I downloaded the latest ovi pc suite and tried to install it. After a bit it's installing I always receive a generic 1622 error and the installer quits. Stopped the avast antivirus and tried reinstalling, still no success. The computer is an acer laptop with a centrino processor, 512mb ram and windows xp sp3.

Now whn i try downloading them again eg ebuddy, apps frm ovi then after download, its says unable to install. It does for all software downloads. I tried soft n hard reset tried changing dates while downloading ,tried changing options on phone like software installation to ON and onlin ceertificat check to OFF but it doesnt help.

I am completely unable to install OVI suite. The installation hangs every time. I have tried several times. Firstly from the installer that shipped with the phone (this just hung - no message), then from the most up to date version downloaded from the website. I have seen similar posts to this on the forum - most of which suggested uninstalling PC suite and then trying the install again. However, I have never had PC suite on this machine.
I've had the X6 16GB for a couple of weeks now and whenever i try to download anything onto it or install it through my pc i get the error message "File corrupted". This happen with the pc suite update, ovi, skype and more. Can anyone help at all? I'd really appreciate any advice at all!

I am trying to get things setup on my E71 so I can use my RingCentral service from my device. But, I can't seem to get things to connect up. I keep getting a message saying "registration failed" after creating the new SIP connection profile. I would like to offer some more useful information but I cannot seem to find any type of log to check on what's preventing a successful connection.
RingCentral provides me with the following... I guess I am just putting them into the wrong inputs?

registrar port (5060)
registrar type (UDP)

Can anyone offer me any advice on how to get this all going? I'm at a loss as to what I could change.
I had earlier configured a wi-fi access point on my E72 and everything was running perfect. One day the Destinations started showing me only the GPRS access point even when I had the wi-fi on First Priority and the wifi was running correctly.
Now I deleted the access point from the list and tried to reconfigure it. Whenever I select new access point and enter the wi-fi pass-code (WPA2), nothing happens on the screen. At the same time, when I click on the options button or the back button, nothing works. The settings window is just stuck there And I am just unable to configure wi-fi. Any ideas?

View 26 Replies View RelatedI tried resetting my phone back to 8.0 so I could have the Cyan firmware installed on my 1020 along with 8.1 Update 1, however the program won't recognise the device:
The Software Updater for Retail says the exact same thing too.
How to rectify this? Or if not, any ETA on when the Cyan update can be expected to be available for Dev Preview users? I have a 930 as my daily driver now but, as an amateur photographer and filmmaker the 1020 is still a highly useful device for me.
