Nokia e63.I was able to download n use apps for 2 days and phone restarted and the apps dissappeared. Now whn i try downloading them again eg ebuddy, apps frm ovi then after download, its says unable to install. It does for all software downloads. I tried soft n hard reset tried changing dates while downloading ,tried changing options on phone like software installation to ON and onlin ceertificat check to OFF but it doesnt help.
I have this problem with the ovi store, i downloaded the fruit ninja game and it doesnt seem to want to install it. After this i noticed that i cant update my other applications either. If u did and u have fixed it could you tell how? My phone is nokia c7.
Angry bird was successfully downloaded and install but when i click launch after installation then it show error, and required to download again.I also found that the angry bird rio is not showing its icon at the main menu.
Angry bird rio data folder also not available in the Private folder.this means that the game is not installed in my phone at all..same thing happened if i wanted to install non-paid version..
i have a Nokia 701. Recently updated with latest software. After updating formatted the phone and mass memory and lost the store client. Tried to install from store.ovi.com and beta labs but after 99% complition it says unable to install.how to install the client.

I want to install a collins dictionary .jar application in my nokia 2690 suite via bluetooth. It's around 8 mb big. However, an error occurs saying that the file is too big. First I used the ovi suite and then Windows explorer. It failed both the times. Should I try using a data cable instead?
I bought a new E55 unlocked.I have a problem with it, i am only able to install j2me but cant install any sisx apps.ive tried downloading new ones e.g. from www.fring.com for my OS directly on the phone and also gmaps, stright from the phone browser but all in vain it gives an error "Unable to install" i checked the settings in App manager and set it to all software installation and online check is desabled, tried to install again, no victory, same error. tried to update firmware to this new version from pc, it failed, halted the ongoing update then tried OTA , it succeeded but the version it updated it to is 022.009 and not the latest tried software installation again, got the same error my mind is boggled as to what is going on any ideas guys.Ps: i went into *#0000# and then into options and update still gets the 022.009 version my variant is "asia pacific" region.

So the problem is - how can i re-install previously purchased applications in ovi store?I thought it will be easy way, however it doesn't. Despite the fact that all of my previously purchased apps appeared in "My Stuff" section in Ovi Store applications, i cant download it, they only offer me to buy it again, I tried to solve this problem using pc, i wanted to download apps to pc from ovi store website and then move to phone. But all i can do - send a link to phone, and there i was offered to buy app again. It's just shocking omission of Ovi Store, that repels future purchases.
Today i conncted my phone to pc and saw the update Microsoft apps 2.0 is available. But when I try to install it , it goes through half (50% exactly) and stays there for a hell lot of time and then gives the error "application installation failed".

I was using my phone till the battery life got depleted & it eventaually offed. I now later charged it 2 restart only 2 discover that all my installed java applications are gone. I tried installing them back bcos i had their 'raw files' but while on installin; wen it's getting lyk 90% complete, a display text comes out showing 'unable to install'
I have nokia 5800 and i like it very much... But i have a problem with it ..... the problem that when i download any thing from nokia OVI Store from my mobile like: Games, apps and videos when download finished and starting to install the games or the apps it's say's: "installation failed" and when i redownload it again nothing change and keep saying "installation failed" ........ and i noted that when i install app ( themes, apps and games ) on my mobile by ovi suite or by file manager it also say's to me "Expired Certificat" even if i signed this apps but it alwyas say's "Expired Certificat"....... for this problem i did: hard reset - format my mobile - format my sd card - update my mobile to v40 - but the problem never stops to return in a few hours ..... then i find out that when i need to install any app on my mobile (by ovi suite or ovi store in my mobile or file manager) i have to switch off the mobile and turn it on again to install what ever i want ...... so Plz help me out

I updated my Nokia N8 to Anna ages ago and everything was fine. But then a few days ago I got a notification about a new software update, so I did it. And now whenever I try to install something (app, theme - you name it), I get the "Unable to install" error. This goes for both via usb and directly from phone.
No matter what I try to install, I continually get 'unable to install'. This only started happening after I updated my software! I've reformatted twice, I've rebooted, I've done all the usual stuff, all my certificate thingies are off etc but still nothing!!

I can't get my C3-00 (with Opera Mini) to install apps. Whether I download them using the phone (like from Ovi.com) or my computer and put them on the phone later, the apps show up under "games" just fine, but when I open them, it says "opening application" and immediately "closing application". recently installed Lyncwhen it became available as an update on Nokia Suite. We use Lync at the company I work for, and the company allows personal mobile devices to connect to the service. I completed all the fields required to sign-in, but I never got signed-in or connected. The startup screen just tells me for 5-10 minutes that it is initiating a session, and then that it is trying to connect. This is where it gets stuck and idles forever. I tried to connect both while connected to a wifi network and to my provider's 3G network.I asked the support staff at my company and they told me to try again providing the internal and external discovery address url..., but this didn't work either. I was also asked to try connecting to my account from two different Android devices, one with the same service provider I have and the other with a different service provider, and I was able to connect. I also tried to connect using a different phone (also a Nokia N8 running Symbian Belle) and, again, it failed to sign-in/connect. That's where we found out that nobody using a Nokia running on Symbian can connect to the Lync server in our company, while all iPhone and Android users can.
Of course, while trying to connect from my phone, we tried many different variations: entering username and domain in their own fields and only on the username field (domainusername), checking and unchecking the registration option, using the IP address for the server instead of its name, etc., etc. Nothing worked.The support staff also confirmed that the Lync server has all the latest mobility components installed, as specified here: Set up Lync for mobile devices.

The Ovi store tells me that the "IM for Nokia" app is available for my newly-purchased C5-03, running S60 5th Edition (10.0.031), but when I try to install it I get an error message saying that it is not compatible with my version of the operating system and that I need to update it using the software updater. Needless to say, the software updater says that I have the latest version of the software.
