I tried to configure my email account at my another blackberry, but when I put my user name (CORRECTLY) it claims that it must be at least 4 characters, whereas the one that I put is 20 characters! It works on my blackberry ID so I`m sure I use both correct user name and password.
Ive found several devices or apps that actually block Texting emailing even calls for phones in motion. But they all seem to work with Droid or every other phone besides Apple!? Does anyone know of a device or app that actually BLOCKs a driver from texting while driving.
My phone was working properly. Then it went to a screen with the following message: "Configuration error. Please contact your network or service provider". The phone can receive incoming calls, but that is it. I have tried the update service. Result - Your phone has the latest software update.

Yesterday I hooked my Storm I to my computer to make a backup as I do each month. Desktop Manager told me that a componet on the phone had an update so I let it go trough the process. My phone restarted during the update and then entered into a seemingly endless cycle of restarting.I tried reconnecting my phone but to no avail it would only contiue it's cycle. I then followed the instructions on how to save a nuked berry but every time it would get to the point of restarting the phone it would get stuck in that cycle again. This morning I took my phone to my local VZW store and explained what happened. The tech replaced my phone with a refurb. I came home and hooked it up to my computer to restore my contacts and the phone went to a white screen and restarted. Yet again it was stuck in this endless cycle until I unplugged it. When I removed this one from the computer it would boot like normal.I tried this a number of times with the same result. I then removed desktop manger and the phone software from my computer along with all drivers and RIM related files. I restarted then downloaded desktop manager and reinstalled. I restarted my computer again for good measure then tried to restore my contacts again. Sadly the same thing happened - once I plug the phone in a white screen comes up and it restarts over and over. Hopefully someone has an idea because I'm lost.
I was able to use Ovi suite fine before I recently reinstalled XP on my system. But now when I connect the N8 I get the "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)" error. Have tried uninstalling and re-adding the hardware, but keep getting the same problem. Have tried installing drivers from the download on the Nokia site, version 126.96.36.199, but it refuses to do so, telling me I have more up to date drivers already installed (although the installed ones seem to be 188.8.131.52, which is older, isn't it..?)
I have been trying to connect my nokia n900 to my pc that runs windows 7. I am using usb cable that came with the phone. I get an error messege on the computer when using mass storage mode that says "failed to install device driver'. I downloaded PC suite and tried PC suite mode. I got an error message saying "your phone is in file transfer mode. quit file tranfer mode to proceed" how do I quit file transfer mode?
Can't seem to install drivers for my Elm, I can use the phone in file transfer mode but not PC mode Have tried the software that came with the phone to automatically install, then went for the auto updater which also failed to install the drivers. I can see the device on device manager for a short while, try to update the drivers manually but this does not work either.
Does anyone know is SE has any intention of delivering the Adreno 205 driver update to the Xperia Play? The driver update was released by Qualcomm on 30th December at the end of last year and some devices (None of which are Xperia devices) have had the update which is believed to give a performance increase of upto 1.5x or even 2x in some cases depending on phone and app.I believe this has been discussed at some point for the Arc, which also has the same GPU as the Xperia Play. However would be more beneficial to the users of the Xperia Play as it would have a huge impact on how well games run on the device.
I have an error after downloading update of iOS 5.1 on my iPhone 4s over wi-fi connection, after it gets downloaded it says preparing updates then there comes error message saying, "error occuring while updating..." and yea my iPhone is jailbroken...
I'm using the IPC to setup a payload file for active sync for a new exchange server. We use a two stage authentication process so two certs are used. The web cert is delivered by the server and so is no issue. The client cert needs to be installed on the iOS device to allow activesync connections. If I manually install the client cert (without the private key) by emailing it to the phone and manually installing I can manually set up the exchange account. But if I add the cert to the config file-it does not work. Without the private key it won't validate the email address and with the key asks for the password for the AD account but does not accept it.
