May 30, 2012I'm using the IPC to setup a payload file for active sync for a new exchange server. We use a two stage authentication process so two certs are used. The web cert is delivered by the server and so is no issue. The client cert needs to be installed on the iOS device to allow activesync connections. If I manually install the client cert (without the private key) by emailing it to the phone and manually installing I can manually set up the exchange account. But if I add the cert to the config file-it does not work. Without the private key it won't validate the email address and with the key asks for the password for the AD account but does not accept it.

Feb 27, 2011I dropped my phone once or twice: whether this is the reason or not, now when I plug the phone charger in, every time I take it out it tells me there is something wrong with the disk.I finally reinstalled Blackberry manager on my MAC, and when I try to start working with the Blackberry it appears that it wants to reformat my disk; That is something I definitely DO NOT want to do since I have thousands of contacts on there.What can I do? PS I have a new Blackberry that i want to move this data to, but it is looking like it will be impossible. The last time I tried to sync or download with software on my MAC it killed my hard drive. Personally, I've been using it to watch streaming TV to which I don't have over cable, listen to local police & emergency scanners, listen to music from the 'cloud', play a few rounds of "Angry Birds" as well as streaming with "Live Radio". I've actually used the Google Navigator once and it's been very useful when finding a final destination.I don't know if I'm using the device to the "best" of its ability, if not, what else can one do with it? I've recently seen some hardware and software that turns an iPad into an O-scope, are there projects out there fot the Android market following the same lead?

Feb 2, 2010I am trying to get things setup on my E71 so I can use my RingCentral service from my device. But, I can't seem to get things to connect up. I keep getting a message saying "registration failed" after creating the new SIP connection profile. I would like to offer some more useful information but I cannot seem to find any type of log to check on what's preventing a successful connection.
RingCentral provides me with the following... I guess I am just putting them into the wrong inputs?

proxy port (5060)
proxy type (UDP)
registrar address
registrar port (5060)
registrar type (UDP)

Nokia :: E72 Wi-Fi Configuration Not Responding
Feb 23, 2010I had earlier configured a wi-fi access point on my E72 and everything was running perfect. One day the Destinations started showing me only the GPRS access point even when I had the wi-fi on First Priority and the wifi was running correctly.
Now I deleted the access point from the list and tried to reconfigure it. Whenever I select new access point and enter the wi-fi pass-code (WPA2), nothing happens on the screen. At the same time, when I click on the options button or the back button, nothing works. The settings window is just stuck there And I am just unable to configure wi-fi. Any ideas?
