I have over 60 iPad 3 which need configuring. I want a configuration profile for each one (each one will have a unique email setup on each profile)
I would like to be able to duplicate a profile or something which is much faster than creating a whole new profile for each one

View 3 Replies View RelatedJust got my phone today but there is an odd issue where every so often a little flicker happens. It's appears kind of like static across the whole screen but all colours. It only happs for a tiny fraction of a second.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI only noticed this issue when sending a video to a friend last week. I thought it was just an error with that specific recording but I just recorded another one and there is no sound whatsoever. Instead it's all just very loud static noise. I've only had this phone since around early December.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to setup my Lollipop G3 to use a static ip address on my home network in order to more easily be able to run e.g. an ftp server on it.
My router is a Netgear CG3700. First, I tried its "address reservation" feature, where one can associate a MAC-adress(the phone's) to an ip address on the local network. It was easy to setup, but when the G3 is asking for an ip address, it still gets the first free one in the DHCP range rather than the one I just configured.
I also tried from the phone, by long-pressing the wifi connection and choosing "modify network".
In the window that appears, one can switch from DHCP to static and specify the desired ip address. However, as long as "ip settings" is set to Static, the Save-button is disabled. Someone suggested that entering the wifi password here might work, but Save is still disabled.
Just got a Bold for the wife and can't figure out how to assign a static IP address for my home Wifi.I was able to do it with my Style but I just can't remember how. Google search didn't turn up anything but I know it has to be possible

View 2 Replies View RelatedI unlocked my phone today to find that the screen had some very thin/fine rainbow colored vertical distortion lines on the screen. They seemed to have been pulsating (as if someone was holding another electromagnetic object close to it or something) and it looked like static distortion. I checked multiple screens and apps and they all resulted in the same discolored distortion lines.
I had to completely power down my phone and turn it back on. After that, it was OK. First time I had this type of experience so far...

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy BB curve has recently started making a very loud static sound every 5 minutes (when not in use). I have removed all podcast apps and followed other advice on various posts and it has not made a difference. I think I have the most recent OS (6) not sure when it updated and perhaps that is the problem. Also this is not an audible thing meaning adjusting the volume and putting the phone on mute makes no difference. My carrier is Verizon. Really sounds like someone is trying to connect via old school sprint direct connect, every five minutes.

I've had a Nokia E7 for about half a year. it worked pretty well until the screen got cracked. It worked fine for a while, then the touch screen stopped responding. I got it fixed and it was working perfectly fine for about 2 weeks. i was using it one day, and it was eprfectly fine. I set the phone aside for a few minutes, then came back to it. I saw the whole screen was showing static, like when your tv has bad reception. i tried turning it off and on again, but it did not clear it up. I tried calling my number, and the phone rang. After about 10 minutes of curses and profanities, it cleared up again. About half an hour later, it became static again. Once again, after about 10 minutes, it cleared up. That night, i plugged the E7 into the charger, and the next morning, it was displaying static once again. i turned it off, intending to go see the shop. When i went, i turned the phone on, and there was no static. When he was checking it over, it went back to static for about 5 seconds, before returning to normal. When i left, i had walked about 50 metres when i reached to my phone to check the time. it was displaying static yet again. This was was about 5 hours ago and it has been displaying static since.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhenever I call someone or get called, the person on the other end receives nothing but static/disturbance. This is weird as my phone worked perfectly fine before. I can hear my caller perfectly fine, but they cannot hear me. This is high volume rubbish noise, when I shout, a little of voice makes it through, but it's hardly noticeable. Here are a few things I tried:
- Speech recorder: works fine. So it can't be the microphone
- Using headset: My headset filters silence and only 'sends out' voice when it recognizes noise. When Im silent, there is no static. As soon as I speak and the headset registers (and sends) voice, the static on the other end returns.
Still trying to get Splashtop Remote to work on my Xoom. They just sent me a link for a possible work around telling me to change from Dynamic IP address to Static, however i have no clue how to do this. Is this a setting i can access from the xoom or is it something i need to do at the PC/router?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to set my Droid Bionic phone up with a static IP address because of a finicky router. I've checked the "Use static IP" box and entered all of the settings (ip address, gateway, dns, etc.) but my phone still keeps trying to use DHCP to get settings from the router and eventually fails. How do I set a static IP address on this phone? This option worked on my old Nexus S 4G phones with Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich. I don't want to use up any more of my data on Verizon than I have to.
