My bottom speakers in my iPhone 4 are not working. They just started to stop working today but will not come on, so what do I do?

My one month old xperia has a problem, sound volume of bottom speaker is much lower then speaker on the top. Actually i don't remember if it was like that always or happened during my usage. It's so quiet that I need to apply it close to the ear to hear it as much as top speaker.
View 3 Replies View Relatedmy nokia e71x recently started giving me a very static-y signal when making or receiving calls. my voice apparently sounds fine to whoever i'm talking to but what i hear in the earpiece is full of static, as if the signal is very weak. this is happening no matter where i am (even in places where i know the signal is strong). i'm in new york city. the speaker appears to be ok when doing other things, e.g. watching video clips on Internet. it's just phone calls that sound **bleep**.this just started in the last few days. it's possible the phone was exposed to heat, sand and (maybe) water as we were recently on vacation, but other than the bad sound everything works and looks fine.my contract is about up so i may just replace it anyway, but i'd like to know if this is fixable. i tried removing the battery and sim card, making sure all were clean and dry and putting them back.

I have no sound coming out of my iphone 4s at all!
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having several issues with my Motorola Photon 4G. The first problem and must frustrating problem is that from time to time my phone will reboot when a call ends (either a drop call or hang up). I've tried removing the SD card and turning off HAC but none of these suggestions resolve my problem. The second issue is that from time to time my phone will not ring even if I have full service. I have several Sprint phones (Epic 4G, iPhone, Transform) and if I leave them all on the same table in my home can call them from my house phone they all ring when I call them.
When I call my Photon it will only ring 3 out of 5 times. On my house phone the call does not go direct to voicemail. At my house all the phone signal strengths are maxed out. The third issue is that if I turn on the speaker phone my call gets very staticy. The only way for me to fix this issue is to hang up and all the party again (simply turning off the speaker phone does not resolve the problem). This problem happens 100% of the time.
no sounds come out of my speaker form i pod key tones dont work but when on phone can hear everything and works perfect with ear phones

I have an iPhone 4. My bottom speaker and front camera do not work. I've taken it to an at&t store and they attempted to repair it, but were unsuccessful. I was wondering if apple had a solution or if I could trade in my phone for a new one.

Am I crazy or is all the sounds basically coming from the right side speaker? Play your iPod & cover the right speaker. Tell me if it is coming out just as loud in your left.
View 14 Replies View RelatedRecently my Iphone 3GS is having problem when playing music. There is no sound from the built-in speaker. However when making/receving calls the sound from the speaker is fine. I noticed that when I press the volume up/down button, there is no volume level indicator position on the screen, the circular button is missing (attached is the screenshot of the situation). However when a headset speaker is plugges in, the volume indicator level appears fine.
I had try restoring the iphone as a new iphone using my mac (from itunes) but the situation persist.
The external sounds on my iphone have completely shut down, the speakerphone doesn't work, the ringer doesn't work, everything else appears to be working normally, what should I do with the phone?

Just recently my iphone 4s speakers started acting up. I have restored it twice once to a back up and the other time as a new phone. The speakers get really staticy on full volume and then it cuts out but if I turn down the volume and blow air into the speakers it goes back to play fine until I turn up the volume again. I'm going to try to clean it out with a toothbrush and see if that helps. But I'm curious does this seem more like a hardware problem or is it a problem with the operating system and I should try to hold out until ios 6 comes out and see if that helps. I've read all the problems with this so I'm hesitant to send it in since there is no apple store around here and find out I have to pay to get it fixed. Tried to talk to them on the phone but since it's a week past ninety days I would have to purchase apple care in order to get any help but yet that's only available for 30 days after your purchase so I'm not sure how come they can offer that over the phone.

My iPhone 6 Plus is less than a 2 weeks old but since day one its speaker sounds distorted.  The ringer or alerts or even the new email alert have a popping or clangy sound to them. Is this a software issue or hardware? My phone is uptodate and Ive tried hard reboots to try to alleviate the problem but it didn't fix the problem. Should I try to restore it?Â

I washed my phone 1 day ago and only now I noticed that the bottom speaker is way too silent. Main top speaker is working fine. If you play any song and rotate the phone horizontally, you can tell that there is a big difference.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhile in a call using the speakerphone, the Z2 uses only the bottom speaker to deliver the voice. This makes the conversation ridiculously low, esp while driving with ambient noise...
View 9 Replies View RelatedI received my Nexus 6 from Amazon. It seems as though the top speaker is considerably louder than the bottom. When I flip the phone upside down, it is still the top speaker that is louder.
When I turn the phone to landscape mode, it is the right speaker that it louder. I flip the orientation to where the former right speaker is now the left and vice versa. It's the same problem where the right speaker (the former left speaker) is still louder.
I bought my xperia z3 5 days ago.. Today in the mornin i just gave it just a lil shower under tapwater. It was working properly whole day. The speakers were working properly..
But in the night when i was playing songs.. The bottom speaker suddenly just started sounding cracky. Too cracky. Cant even listen to songs at half of the volume. Even notification ringtones are sounding cracky..
Since I got my Z2 earlier this year I haven't been overly impressed with the speak phone cababilities of the phone.Â
Â
For a couple of months now I have noticed the bottom speaker is noticeably louder than the top one. At first I thought this may be normal but now I don't think it is.Â
I've hated this phone for a long time now and am patiently waiting until I can upgrade in January, but now on top of everything else wrong with it, the speaker seems to be having a major issue. The other day I got a call, and the ringtone had a loud hissing and distortion sound to it like it has a heavy bass turned all the way up. When I answered, the same thing. You can barely understand the person on the other end because of the distortion when someone talks. It's hard to explain.
I've tried turning down the volume really low, I've changed the speaker settings using the service codes. Nothing has worked. Has anyone else had this problem or do you know if there is a way to fix this yourself? Also, If I take it to an AT&T store can they repair it, and any idea how much it would cost if they could? I really don't want to pay full price for a phone now, but if it's gonna cost a lot to fix this one, I might as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
my click sounds and ringer sounds on my iphone4 just stopped working....what can i do to fix it?

I downloaded ringtones from crackberry a couple hours ago and now my ringers won't work and when I try to play ringtones in the media application it won't let me play them. I tried going through the profiles to make sure they weren't muted or off and nothing is working. I had the exact same problem less than 24 hours ago and the cell phone place just gave me a new phone because they couldn't figure it out either. If I could get some kind of direction as to what I need to do I would appreciate it greatly.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to setup my Lollipop G3 to use a static ip address on my home network in order to more easily be able to run e.g. an ftp server on it.
My router is a Netgear CG3700. First, I tried its "address reservation" feature, where one can associate a MAC-adress(the phone's) to an ip address on the local network. It was easy to setup, but when the G3 is asking for an ip address, it still gets the first free one in the DHCP range rather than the one I just configured.
I also tried from the phone, by long-pressing the wifi connection and choosing "modify network".
In the window that appears, one can switch from DHCP to static and specify the desired ip address. However, as long as "ip settings" is set to Static, the Save-button is disabled. Someone suggested that entering the wifi password here might work, but Save is still disabled.
