I have a Nokia Bluetooth Handsfree headset HS-36W which works perfectly with my Nokia 9300, however doesn't work with my E72. I've had several attempts without any success. Are all genuine Nokia headset's not compatible with one another?
View 5 RepliesThere's a firmware compatibility issue of W595 with HPM-85 handsfree. Everytime I connect HPM-85 handsfree to my W595 for listening to music, the walkman application pops up with an error message saying "Playback Failed", also, sometimes the handsfree gets disconnected automatically from the firmware and shows a message asking, "Continue Playback Through Speakers" (the firmware disconnects the handsfree automatically even when the handsfree is plugged into the phone).
I checked my HPM- 85 handsfree on other Sony Ericsson phones and turned out that it works fine with no problems mentioned above. Also, I looked up using the handsfree which came with the phone to make sure if my phone had any issue, and it had no problems as above. So I guess its a firmware compatibility issue with HPM-85. I request you to get this issue notified to the Sony Ericsson firmware developers team to fix this bug asap and release a new firmware update.
I'm looking for a car kit that supports 5800 XpressMusic and 6303 Classic.Can I get the nokia 6303 classic to work with the car kit CK-600? I imagine the screen would make the use easier. If not the CK-300 should work with both phones, right?

Pictures I take are available as wallpapers, as are some that I upload to my phone, but not all, even when they are in the same folder. Photo viewer doesn't show them either but if I use file manager to select them they display ok.What do I have to do to get these pictures I have put on my phone available as wallpapers and viewable in as photos? Do they have to be a certain size or format or in a particular directory or something else?
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy problem is that suddenly (since yesterday) when I open the Ovi Maps site (http://maps.ovi.com/) I don't see the map surface anymore, I just see a white surface!!! Everything else is in place. I can zoom in and out of this white surface I can even change to 3D and the blue sky on top appears but no map. Needless to say the same goes for satelite or any other option. No map appears. If I reload the page the map appears for a second and disappears immediately. When I deactivate the ovi maps plug-in (4.0.12.12), the map reappears and stays. I even tried to unistall it and reinstall it but the same thing happens, NO map visible. When I reinstalled it, it said that the plug-in is not compatible with firefox 3.6.3. The strange thing is that I didn't updated my firefox since yesterday, it just started to happen suddenly. I couldn't find anything like that elsewhere on the web so this place is my last hope. Has anyone had a similar experience or even better a possible solution? By the way I have windows 7 but I can't imagine a reason for this being relevant since it work just fine until yesterday.

After a conversation with nokia support, I was finally told the E71 isn’t a comes with music phone. The pin was originally with a nokia 5800 comes with music t mob device which I have sold and posted already to the new owner. It’s been literally a week. I wanted the e71 instead of the 5800 so i got the 5800 on contract, then sold it and bought a e71.My question is.
1) If I was to get a Nokia E72 - would I be able to activate it to use with the service with this pin?
2) Is there any difference from a 5800 comes with music phone and a normal 5800?
Is the new 5230 compatible with the CR-103 cradle which comes with the 5800 Navigator handset ? I note that the two phones have similar dimensions.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy N82 served me very loyally for an yr since yesterday, when i was listening to music and ran to catch my bus, my cell was in my jeans pocket. After that my cell is not responding to any key input from my Handsfree/headset WH 701 & HS-43 but sound comes from both earphones. I tested my handsfree on another n82 and other models and it is working fine. Still other models 3.5mm handsfree are having same isuue now with my cell, the calls cannot be cut and nor the volume or tracks could be changed.Apart from thsi my N82 is working fine.
I backed up my cell data and hard and soft formatted it but the issue havent gone.What could have gone wrong with the 3.5mm port?
My parrot handsfree kit worked perfectly with my E61i but on upgrading to the n97Mini I find that the incoming calls do not play therough the cars loudspeakers but through the phone so I cannot hear the person on the other end. Do I need to change a setting somewhere

I plug them in - choose Headset option - but cannot hear anything when someone calls me or when I call someone else. Am I missing something?I haven't experienced any problems with the music player. When I choose the Headphones option to listen to music everything is noraml. However, I am not able to control the music (play/pause, fwd, next, sound) with the remote.Why is that?

I attempted to use it recently but was surprised to find that my phone couldn't "see" the earpiece anymore. I have done the obvious things in bluetooth settings and even tried pairing another earpiece but still no joy.

It is properly getting connected and getting paired with the device but while making the call the other end cannot hear my voice but I can hear them clearly. Initially I thought my bluetooth hands free is having problem so I bought another. But the problem was still the same. I can hear from the bluetooth device but the party cannot hear. Then I tried the same bluetooth handsfree with another Nokia 5800 express music and found it working fine. Is there anyone can help me to solve this issue. The difference between my mobile and other is the software version. I am having the latest version but the other is the first version. Is there any hardware issue or software issue with this?

I just got the new iPhone. I'm still using Tiger 10.4.11 on my MacBook Pro.I plugged my new phone in to the computer and it said that the phone isn't compatible with my version of OSX. I didn't think this would be a problem since my iPhone 3G works just fine with it.
I know I can buy a new version of OSX, but after spending £450 on the phone, I'm not really in a position to afford the £132 it's going to cost me to upgrade (Apple website says I need to go for the Mac Box Set, and not just Snow Leopard) at the moment.
This isn't my main question, but if I was to ask someone who already has the Mac Box Set for a copy of the disk, would it install on my Mac, or do I have to buy it myself? Sorry if that's a silly question.If I was to set up my new phone on the PC I have here, I wouldn't be able to then plug it back into my Mac, would I? All my music and contact info etc is stored on my Mac so it'll be a major hassle to have to start all over again on the PC.And also, say if I did start using this on the PC, when I do eventually get Snow Leopard, do I have to start all over again if I want to go back to using the phone with my Mac?

The software (Meye) is for 1.6 and I can't find any more information about it. However, I want to upgrade to 2.1 for voice to text. So my questions are: 1) is 2.1 stable because I have read all kinds of horror stories about it being unstable and crashing, restarting, etc; 2) is 2.1 backwards compatible to 1.6 since I must have the surveillance software installed; and 3) what can I use to upgrade other than Sony Upgrade Service since I tried using it and it just reinstalled 1.6 again?

The VX4400 I got came with a TC98A charger, and the "official" charger for the VX3400 is supposed to be the TA-P01WR.
