Tried changing the settings under Accessory settings without any luck.Really frustrating to have to unlock your phone just to skip a song.

A couple of days ago the control buttons on the headset stopped working, I can no longer remotely answer calls, or pause and change music tracks. The headset earphones and microphone still work, I can listen to music and use it for phone calls that have been activated from the phone itself.The headset itself has not received any damage, it hasn't been dropped in water or the like.efore I go out and buy a new headset I thought I'd better try and confirm if they were indeed at fault. Is there, for instance, a phone setting to disable the headset controls.

Jul 10, 2011I think the issue lies in that fact that Atrix picks the headset profile instead of the handsfree profile for the bluetooth device and hence i can't make voice dial while Atrix screen is off.
I have a moto handsfree T215 and a moto Atrix. and ironically they don't work well with each other, while my car's own bluetooth program works perfectly. I can make calls regardless if Atrix screen is on or off. but Moto T215 cann't.
Question: how can i force/chose the handsfree profile for my handsfree so i can make calls when screen is off?

Sep 3, 2015I have an HTC One M9 and a pair of HTC headphones which should allow me to skip back and forward between music tracks.
However, this function does not work and pressing the skip forward or back buttons only turns the volume up or down. I have actually tried several different brands of headphones and experienced the same issue.

Mar 13, 2010Has anyone successfully used a corded handsfree headset with the samsung mythic? I have heard that for both incoming/outgoing conversation, plus stereo music capability, that the micro usb port must be used.
I purchased a stereo/microphone with a 3.5mm connector (the mythic has both a 3.5mm and micro usb port), but using the 3.5mm port, only the stereo function worked. neither voice incoming or outgoing worked. And you can't just go down to the at&t store and pick up a samsung handset, they all seem not to have them.

Apr 16, 2011handsfree bluetooth completely not working after the Gingerbread update? I have an 08 Titan with the built in bluetooth and everything worked perfectly on Froyo. Since the OTA update, I can pair and connect but can't actually hand the call off to bluetooth. I try selecting bluetooth on the in call screen and it seems like it tries but I get no audio at all and it just kicks back to normal phone call mode. Speaker works.

Nov 8, 2011i got a nokia n8 from singapore ....so it should be region free...n i got mobilicity .......the thing is that i can call people i can text ....i can use my internet browser .....but i can't use aplications that require internet !!!! for example a facebook app ...after i open it it says no connection ...even though im able to browse the web +_+.....is this a config problem or is it just because mobilicity is just incompatible with the nokia n8 ?

May 9, 2010My N82 served me very loyally for an yr since yesterday, when i was listening to music and ran to catch my bus, my cell was in my jeans pocket. After that my cell is not responding to any key input from my Handsfree/headset WH 701 & HS-43 but sound comes from both earphones. I tested my handsfree on another n82 and other models and it is working fine. Still other models 3.5mm handsfree are having same isuue now with my cell, the calls cannot be cut and nor the volume or tracks could be changed.Apart from thsi my N82 is working fine.
I backed up my cell data and hard and soft formatted it but the issue havent gone.What could have gone wrong with the 3.5mm port?

The device simply doesn't always react on the pressed key. I sometimes need to press the middle button on the Purity few times for the song to Pause or Resume. Same issues I experienced with the Original Nokia's Earphone. I've been using several Nokia Lumia 800 devices and I experienced same issue on all of them.

The play/pause/skip controls on the WH-920 headphones don't work or work very sporadically when my Lumia 900 is locked and the screen off. When locked with screen on or unlocked with screen on the controls work completely fine.This basically makes the controls on this $100 headphone set useless if my Lumia is in my pocket I ordered a replacement off of Amazon. Same issue, which leads me to believe this is a phone problem.As well, the L-shape extender makes it so that no commands can be sent at all (locked or unlocked) and also the audio is messed up (very soft) unless the middle button on the earphones is held down. This is for both sets of L-shape extenders and both sets of headphones.

It must come from the AC-15E charger shipped with the phone, since I tried the AC-8E charger from my previous phone (a C5-00 5MP) and the charging then worked. Yet before sending the phone back to the seller, I would like to be sure that the shipped charger is just faulty and that it does not come from anything else.
Did anybody have a similar problem with the 701?
