Radio of my Nokia 5800 xp is not working at all. When I go to Radio -> Options and select any of the option e.g. "Stations", "Tune Stations" or "Alternate frequency" menu is closed without doing anything or asking for further option. I have tried factory reset, but no luck.
i updated my Nokia N8 Anna to Belle . After updating my phone i see this problem that my phone doesn't show gps information when i capturing any photo. When i try to capture a photo i noticed that gps is not available notification. But when i close my camera option my phone show that gps is available. I also check the settings. Actually what is the problem ? When i entered camera option then gps option show me that its not available but when i close camera option then it show gps is available. When i first bought Nokia n8 its work its gps function properly.
Since updating to Belle, I am no longer able to use the dab radio app, which renders my £40 headset obsolete. Hopefully this app will be available again soon??
I currently have an N86 which is pretty good as far as i'm concerned. The only things i can fault it on are a rather flaky operating system which tends to crash a bit too often and a very fragile screen cover, but for the most part i can live with these issues.I'm currently due for an upgrade on my contract and would like something that does much the same as the N86 does, but the sticking point is the FM Transmitter function (referred to as "Play by Radio" on some handsets) which i use a lot. Neither Nokia nor any third party seems to produce a list of current handsets which has this functionality built in, perhaps because its use is restricted in some territories and thus varies.
I am a fan of Internet Radio and love the FM transmitter (Play via Radio) built into the N8. The best thing is that one can use both at the same time to transmit an internet radio stream to an FM radio!
One bad day I decided to follow the highlighted Nokia remark urging me to update the Internet Radio software..... I have Anna installed and Anna update 2/2 includes IR version 3.03. The download and installation via Nokia Store went smooth and version 3.04 was up and running soon.
Side-remark 1: how can one see on store.ovi.com which SW version is being offered? I can only see version information using the nokia store app on the phone. Displaying the version in the on-line store would be very helpful!
Side-remark 2: the IR version on offer through the nokia store app is 3.4.0. After installation it states version 3.04..... I found this very confusing. Is this a regular numbering convention for Nokia?
Side-remark 3: did anyone see any differences between 3.03 and 3.04? Both look very much alike! What is the reason for going from 3.03 to 3.04? I do think that 3.03 could be looking a lot better!
With version 3.04 up and running, I decided to start the FM transmitter. The very moment you press the on button the radio stream stops. In the widget for internet radio, the play symbol is now visible. Pressing it to turn the stream back on, the music plays for a fraction of a second before the stream is again stopped. No matter what I tried, I cannot use the FM transmitter together with the Internet Radio 3.04 app.
I searched the internet for the 3.03 version and re-installed it after removing 3.04. Fortunately I can now again run the Internet Radio and the FM transmitter at the same time Is there a solution for this? Why Nokia doesn't test such basic things before releasing the update?
I have Nokia 500 Belle. Listening to built in internet radio fills phone's C: memory with no apparent reason (No any messages, no email, no installed apps, to prevent stamp answers that suggest to remove apps and messages). After about 10-15 minutes browsing and listening stations memory is decreased by about 10 MB's. I used X-plore to see, what can i do and what to delete but there's nothing to delete. Probably the Private or Sys folders are filled with some kind of junk but obviously there is no access to these... I had about 130 MB free on C: and after using Internet radio it was decreased to below 120 MB. I did very little listening next day and after that memory was left to 114 MB. What if it will eventually fill completely? It was a problem on Nokia E52 and Nokia 500 Anna.
Internet is full of complaints about Nokia phones memory usage. But no any reasonable solution. All what i can find are typical stamp answers that suggests to remove apps and messages and so on... Few months ago my E52 ran out of memory, though i hadn't installed any apps on C: and all messages were also on memory card. Even deleting browser cache (using x-plore) did not help.
Why there is no track and artist name display on the main screen of internet radio ?I had that on my old NOKIA 6710 and even with ahistory of last tracks. I guess it also worked in Anna , but not in Belle.
I would like to listen to BBC radio 5 Live Sports Extra on my N8/belle. Nokia Internet Radio app doesn't have this station and I can't find any other app which offers it. Is the Nokia DAB attachment/app my only option?
I just started using Internet Radio this week. Tonight I was picking a station on my favorites list and hit cancel while it was loading, since then no stations will load, they have quick timeout errors. I tried unistalling Internet Radio and reinstalling but this does not work. It seems something is hung up or frozen somewhere. If I click on genres same thing, nothing loads, but if I "Go to Station" and type in the web address it plays, but I dont have the thousand of lists of radion stations to view anymore.
I recently updated my nokia 5800 to v5 from v4, after update my radio and Bluetooth has stopped working completely. When I goto Radio it gets hanged instantly only option I have is to click on red button or menu button, but radio app keeps running in back ground. When I tried to turn on my Bluetooth I gets a error message 'Unable to perform Bluetooth Operation'. When I got to Albums and tried to send any music file via Bluetooth I get a message 'Unable to connect'. I had already tries hard resetting and re-installing firmware through OVI suite, but I am still facing this problem.

I bought the nokia C2-01 in march. After two months the radio and bluetooth is not working. When I click on the radio it always shows Radio Off (with or without the headset). And in the case of bluetooth The option On is not working. It always shows Off. I reset all the settings but nothing happened. And the sw cannot be updated through phone updates.
I am using Nokia E5 from 2 months , till yesterday I was using Internet radio, but suddenly it stop. If I click on internet radio, Its says " no Network connection". When I go to option--> setting and after clicking on setting no response is there , meaning nothing is happening. Other internet related apps working fine.

I was trying to download Android 2.1 through my PCC, but it was failing to update anything. Keeps coming up with the same message. Cannot up date or start components. I have downloaded the newest version of PCC, so it's not that. Driving my crazy as I only got this phone 5 weeks ago, but my boyfriend got the same phone 2 days ago and he can do more and appears to have 'a better phone' than I do!
I've started getting the following message whenever I try to launch the Facebook app on my N97 mini: "Error retrieving news feed: is not valid in table stream". Coincidentally, this happened on the same day that I was moved over to the new look facebook.
since yesterday my headphone is not working on my nokia701.i checked headphone with my old nokia phone and it is working perfectly.what should i do.the device media player sound is also low compared to other devices
after updating to symbian anna my fm transmitter stops working... i tried to reinnstall the software then also its not working.what should i suppose to do???
I received a 701 phone and tried to charge it but it did not work. It must come from the AC-15E charger shipped with the phone, since I tried the AC-8E charger from my previous phone (a C5-00 5MP) and the charging then worked. Yet before sending the phone back to the seller, I would like to be sure that the shipped charger is just faulty and that it does not come from anything else.
This is about my new Nokia 701 phone. while listening music in loud speaker the right speaker is not working. i just wanna know is it same to all 701 devices or its problem with my device only.
I recently updated to belle fp2 and got the new nokia browser...i worked just fine for somedays but now when i launch the browser it doesnt load any website and quits automatically......i tried reinstalling the os from nokia suite it didnt help.....red all d cache nd history as fast as possible before the app killed itself
The OVI Store application in my phone will not open, everytime I try to open the app it doesn't do anything, so I open the browser to go to the OVI store website, try to download any application and when it is trying to install it says "file corrupted" so I'm not able to install or buy any application from the OVI store. I have the latest software update. I also have the latest OVI suite application for Windows Vista and when I try to install the "software support" it fails...
All of the apps made by Ovi are not working on my Nokia 700. I received the phone earlier today, and all was fine until a few hours ago when the Maps Suite, Social, Store, Ovi Music, etc stopped working (the loading wheel spins for 0-2 seconds and then goes back to the previous screen). I have tried installing various versions of each app, performed a hard reset and I am on the latest firmware.
my x6 was working properly for about 3 weeks, but now the web browsers are failing to launch - web, seasch, facebook, Internet etc etc. there's no error message, the screen just goes blank for a second, then returns to the internet menu.i have good signal, and ovi maps has no problem going online to search for destinations, so it is surely a browser issue.i've been on orange helpline for over 2 hours, everything has been reset, and the phone software has been reloaded - still the same.
