since yesterday my headphone is not working on my nokia701.i checked headphone with my old nokia phone and it is working perfectly.what should i do.the device media player sound is also low compared to other devices
View 1 RepliesI recently bought a nokia n8 and when i plugged in the headset, its working fine, all the buttons on it are fine. except for the call answering button!
when i recive a call and press the call answering button, there is no response to it, nothing happens...and even when the phone is on the stand-by and i press and hold the call answering button,it doesnt prompt for the VOICE-rec. but i tried using the headset on my nokia 5800 and the button was working fine, and but when i tried the headphone of nokia 5800 on my nokia N8, the call ansering was working
I have tried to listen to music using my N8 with headphones but even with volume set to max it is still very low. Am I doing something wrong or is the output on this phone?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an HTC One M9 and a pair of HTC headphones which should allow me to skip back and forward between music tracks.
However, this function does not work and pressing the skip forward or back buttons only turns the volume up or down. I have actually tried several different brands of headphones and experienced the same issue.
So far I've been enjoying lollipop, even with the exceptions ( being no real silent mode) and what I'm about to mention now. I've noticed even when I'm playing in Walkman, I can't select headphone settings where it has studio sound, concert sound, etc. I can scroll through and hear the difference but I can't permanently select it; whenever I exit it, it goes back to none.

But if downgrade back to 4.7. Which is what I would like to do due to all the problems with the leaked version. The head phone jack stops working again.

I've tried out the headphones out on different iPhones and they work so it's not the headphone itself. I've had this problem for around 6+ months now I attempted the trick where you get a paper clip and get all the fluff out of the jack however it came to no avail. What is left for me to do? Is it a problem with my audio jack flex cable?

Well the other day I went to use my new headphones on my iPhone4 and the sound was terrible. The sound is distorted and crackly, to get the other speaker to go on I have to put the volume at 100% and that makes my ears bleed lol. I plug the headphone in my computer and they worked fine. I tried another set of headphones on my iPhone and Only sound would come out of one speaker. Same thing happens if I plug it into a stero. Im freaking out bacuse my iPhone is my baby and I have no idea what happen. I have already restored the phone and restarted the device multiple times and still nothing is working.

I am having the same issue as many people with the fingerprint scanner. But I found a new issue over the weekend.My headphone jack doesnt work to listen to music. When I plug it in, I can hear that little click in the headphonebut when I go to play music it just plays it through the phone speaker.

I didn't use the earphone until now because I wanted to try if it has a mic and to try it if it works when I call someone. When I tried to test it by playing music in my media, only the left speaker was working. My beats earphone works tho, I even plugged the blackberry earphones on my laptop to make sure if its the phone's problem or the earphones' problem and its the same thing. Only the left side was working. Its so new and I didn't even used it till now.

I was on a plane a few weeks ago, put my headphones in and couldn't figure out why I had no sound... turns out all my neighbors heard it cause it was coming out of the speaker... View 2 Replies View Relatedi got a nokia n8 from singapore ....so it should be region free...n i got mobilicity .......the thing is that i can call people i can text ....i can use my internet browser .....but i can't use aplications that require internet !!!! for example a facebook app ...after i open it it says no connection ...even though im able to browse the web +_+.....is this a config problem or is it just because mobilicity is just incompatible with the nokia n8 ?

Do I have to replace the jack? I have rebooted many times. When the headphones are halfway in, the phone recognised them for a short while but then carries on playing through speaker. My software version is 6.0 BUNDLE 2647 (v6.0.0.600, Platform 6.6.0.223).

It must come from the AC-15E charger shipped with the phone, since I tried the AC-8E charger from my previous phone (a C5-00 5MP) and the charging then worked. Yet before sending the phone back to the seller, I would like to be sure that the shipped charger is just faulty and that it does not come from anything else.
Did anybody have a similar problem with the 701?
