View 8 RepliesAs discussed on other threads, with my 5800 XP the music podacst playback volume is rubish with Senheiser (and other 3rd party) headphones but excellent with the horrible white Nokia headset headphones. (BTW can anyone exaplain why??).So i want to buy some nice (not white!) headphones that give good volume.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI really have two issues involving the headphone jack. When I plug the headphone in, the volume will occasionally drop to zero and then no longer go up. A power off fixes this. A second thing I discovered is that sometimes the microphone does not work after plugging in my headphones. I first noticed this when I was trying to use the speakerphone in my car with the line out through my stereo.I started using voice control and I noticed that the microphone was not picking up any sound. I could tell this because of the visual waveform display.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI listen to music on Spotify, and was very satisfied with the sound quality and volume, up until recently. All of a sudden the volume became low not only on Spotify, all sounds. Even the maximum volume is hard to hear. There is nothing wrong with the earphones because I tried them on different devices and it works perfectly.

I have recently purchased the Z3, particularly for its advertised audio features.
Unfortunately, the audio volume does not go loud enough in all 3 sets of headphones I have tried.
Is this normal?

Is this easy to do? I'm on vzw, doubt it matters
I just flashed my first custom rom on s6, and I was wondering how could I increase headphone sound level? On my old phone all I had to do was change some values in default_gain.conf (or smth like that, havent done it in a while). Maybe there are just some flashable mods, that would increase sound and maybe quality?

View 20 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to watch something with the movie player, I can not get the volume high enough in a noisy environment. Does anyone know how to turn the volume up to 11 or 12?Seriously, the movie playback volume seems lower than the music player. I turn it up all the way and it still is not loud enough to hear the movie.
Does anyone have some headset/earbud recommendations?
I thought that maybe this problem was related to the .484, but have since installed a .419 based hybrid (Driphter v6.3) and I'm still having the same problem.
What is happening is I am using the headphone jack with an aux cable to plug my BB into an external powered speaker. After every song, the volume will reset itself to a lower volume. Once I click one of the volume buttons, it returns to it's previous volume, but does this after EVERY SINGLE SONG. This occurs while playing music in Slacker, GrooveShark, AND the BB Music player, so it is not related to the software that I am using.
I have checked the options in the media player, and enabled/disabled AUDIO BOOST over and over again and it doesn't make a difference, though every time I enable audio boost, it shows the popup warning about volume levels, I select the box that says "Don't Show me this again", yet, everytime I enable or the audio boost this message still pops up.
This problem is driving me insane, it is impossible to listen to music unless I reset the volume after EVERY SONG. This is a replacement 9630 from Sprint, is it possible that it is the phone itself? Should I get ANOTHER replacement?
I have tried apple and samsung headphones that have volume controls on the headphone wire and both of them pause audio play back if you try to turn the volume up or down. I tried this in Google Music and Beyond Podcast and same issue. If I press volume up then playback pauses.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI use Spotify as my music app, every time I set a playlist going and skip the track, at the beginning of the next song either the sound volume drops slightly or a different EQ setting kicks in as the sound changes slightly, it happens within a split second of the song starting.
If I let the song play to the end and the next song comes on automatically it doesn't happen.

View 3 Replies View RelatedN8 does not support changing a Bluetooth headset's volume via the phone's hardware controls and software buttons: There's no changes in volume until you reach the mute position. All volume control has to be done via the headset's hardware controls. Quite nagging if you e.g. like to decrease the volume of navigation instructions while driving with your headset on: Navigation voice hammers to your ears.
View 19 Replies View RelatedHas anyone else noticed that after you have shot a video while using the volume/zoom switch to zoom in and out that when you play back the video you can hear the clicking of the switch? If you use the slide zoom on screen, the microphone also picks up the noise from your finger moving across the screen using that method too. This is a major problem as you cannot hear what you have filmed when you play it back, when I took it back to the shop where I purchased it from to explain about it they checked all the other N8's in the shop and they too had the same fault. Come on Nokia you managed to be able to get it right on my old N95-00 without it making the clicking noises,so you must be able to sort it out on the N8, the videos at the moment are unwatchable as all you hear is click, click ,click where the zoom button has been pressed. I bought this phone mainly for the excellent camera/video but at the moment all I have is a very expensive touch screen phone
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I connect my 808, N8 or C6-01 (all running Belle) to a Play 360 speaker have noticed an inconsistency in the volume control function.Firstly let me make this easier to explain by pretending that the Belle devices all have 10 volume levels and the Play 360 speaker has 10 volume levels.Secondly I will explain how I expect the volume controls to work and indeed how it does work on my N95 and N97 (yes I've been very thorough with my testing!):When I set my phone (N95 or N97) volume to any number from 1 to 10 the speaker plays at exactly that volume level. If I increase or decrease the volume level on my phone (N95 or N97) then the volume level on the Play 360 speaker increases or decreses to match the phone's level.
When I adjust the volume level using the +/- buttons on the Play 360 speaker the phone (N95 or N97) volume level adjusts to match the change. So, no matter how I change the volume the phone and speaker are always in sync, e.g. 1=1, 2=2, 5=5, 10=10.Now we're getting to the problem...On my Belle devices, 808, N8 and C6-01 the volume levels only sync with the Play 360 when music is not playing. As soon as I play music the levels become independant of one another. For example: While the music is paused I can press the - button on the Play 360 to reduce the volume to level 1. I also do the same on my 808. So now both devices are at level 1. Remember, the music is currently paused. If I increase the volume on the Play 360 I see on the 808 screen that the volume increases there too.Same for decreasing volume too, both stay in sync as long as music is paused.
However, when I start the music playing and press +/- on the Play 360, although the ambient volume changes accordingly, the phone volume level remains the same. This means that even after I've got the Play 360 at max volume, I can then increase it further by using the volume control on the 808.What you end up with is 10 levels of volume on the Belle phone and ten levels of volume on the Play 360. As long as no music is playing they adjust together. When music plays they adjust independantly.
how to reduce volume when playing Bounce in games? This phone does not have a volume rocker and I can't see how to turn the sound down when I am in Bounce. It's very loud. The only thing I've been able to do is to set the phone to silent. Surely there is a way to adjust the volume when in games?

Everything went just fine (after an software upgrade) but my smile went out when I was playing with gps signal: no more than 3-4 satellites, even on clear sky in the middle of the park (unsurrounded by buildings, trees or anything that may obstruct a gps signal). Being a new phone I thought it can be fixed by warranty but shock, they declinde any responsibility saying "It is nothing wrong with my phone so nothing to be fixed"...
