Jun 14, 2015I listen to music on Spotify, and was very satisfied with the sound quality and volume, up until recently. All of a sudden the volume became low not only on Spotify, all sounds. Even the maximum volume is hard to hear. There is nothing wrong with the earphones because I tried them on different devices and it works perfectly.

On my old phone all I had to do was change some values in default_gain.conf (or smth like that, havent done it in a while). Feb 18, 2010I thought that maybe this problem was related to the .484, but have since installed a .419 based hybrid (Driphter v6.3) and I'm still having the same problem.
What is happening is I am using the headphone jack with an aux cable to plug my BB into an external powered speaker. After every song, the volume will reset itself to a lower volume. Once I click one of the volume buttons, it returns to it's previous volume, but does this after EVERY SINGLE SONG. This occurs while playing music in Slacker, GrooveShark, AND the BB Music player, so it is not related to the software that I am using.
I have checked the options in the media player, and enabled/disabled AUDIO BOOST over and over again and it doesn't make a difference, though every time I enable audio boost, it shows the popup warning about volume levels, I select the box that says "Don't Show me this again", yet, everytime I enable or the audio boost this message still pops up.
This problem is driving me insane, it is impossible to listen to music unless I reset the volume after EVERY SONG. This is a replacement 9630 from Sprint, is it possible that it is the phone itself? Should I get ANOTHER replacement?

If I let the song play to the end and the next song comes on automatically it doesn't happen.

Jul 27, 2010One thing I have noticed with my new iPhone 4 (and I am guessing it is an iOS 4.0 thing) is that my ring volume affects the alarm volume. On my 3Gs, it did not matter what my ring volume was set at, when I set the alarm to go off, it played at full volume which I like. I am always changing the volume on my ringer depending on where I am so now I find that sometimes it is on low when an alarm goes off and now I don't hear it.

Under this warranty you should be able to receive a replacement set of the iPhone headphones if something stops working. In my case my microphone on my headphones stopped working, so I went into an apple store, met with a technician and traided out my iPhone headphones for what I though was a replacement pair of iPhone headphones. When I returned home I found that the headphones I was given were iPod headphones without the microphone or controls.

Jun 27, 2012Every app I have that requires volume to listen works fine. But when I close the app, my ringer volume level is still in app mode volume. The app volume completely takes over my ringer volume level although in settings it never really changed. In order for me to get my ringer volume back to it's set volume, I have to go into settings and move the volume up or down. Then and only then do I have control over the ringer volume with the buttons on the side of the phone.
