May 9, 2010My N82 served me very loyally for an yr since yesterday, when i was listening to music and ran to catch my bus, my cell was in my jeans pocket. After that my cell is not responding to any key input from my Handsfree/headset WH 701 & HS-43 but sound comes from both earphones. I tested my handsfree on another n82 and other models and it is working fine. Still other models 3.5mm handsfree are having same isuue now with my cell, the calls cannot be cut and nor the volume or tracks could be changed.Apart from thsi my N82 is working fine.
I backed up my cell data and hard and soft formatted it but the issue havent gone.What could have gone wrong with the 3.5mm port?

Jun 24, 2010From some reason I cannot use my headset (the ones that came with the X6) as a handfree kit.
I plug them in - choose Headset option - but cannot hear anything when someone calls me or when I call someone else. Am I missing something?I haven't experienced any problems with the music player. When I choose the Headphones option to listen to music everything is noraml. However, I am not able to control the music (play/pause, fwd, next, sound) with the remote.Why is that?
Nokia :: Phone Is Not Detecting On PC
Mar 3, 2010Basically I tried to connect my mother's n70 to my computer (vista Ultimate 32bit) using the CA-53 cable. However I was just given the prompt unknown device installed, and PC Suite was not detecting anything. So basically I had no choice but to just abandon it and try to connect my phone (5800) to the PC. However, the phone now does not detect being connected to the PC, and Ovi Suite cannot detect the phone as well. Trying it out on PC Suite, it gives me the error "No connection type available, wizard will now close" or something along those lines. Its the first time this has happened to me so I have no clue. I've already tried repairing, and uninstall reinstall but still nothing.

I attempted to use it recently but was surprised to find that my phone couldn't "see" the earpiece anymore. I have done the obvious things in bluetooth settings and even tried pairing another earpiece but still no joy.

Jan 5, 2010I have installed letest version of OVI suite and OVI player.I connected my phone to PC in 'Media Transfer' mode but OVI player is not able to detect my phone. Even when I connect my phone in 'PC Suite' mode, OVI suite is not able tranfer or read tarcks from my 5800. In PC suite mode I can use Windows Media Player 11 to transfer music. I have tried this on two different systems having Windows XP SP3 and Windows Vista Home Premium, but OVI player is not able to detect my phone.

The problem is I am unable to connect to internet. It always gives error likes drivers problem. I have tried uninstalling and again installing pc suite several times. Even I have uninstalled drivers. Deleted setting folders from user/appdata folders. Nothing works. Even when remove data cable or bluetooth connector it still shows I have connected phone. Only way to correct that problem is restart pc. I can explore messages, pictures, calendar without problem when connected but I want to access internet.

Initially I thought my bluetooth hands free is having problem so I bought another. But the problem was still the same. I can hear from the bluetooth device but the party cannot hear. Then I tried the same bluetooth handsfree with another Nokia 5800 express music and found it working fine. Is there anyone can help me to solve this issue. The difference between my mobile and other is the software version. I am having the latest version but the other is the first version. Is there any hardware issue or software issue with this?

May 3, 2012I have a BH-111 that I can't seem to switch off. I have been using it for about 2 months without issue. Earlier this week I let it drain down totally and recharged it fully overnight. Today when I tried to turn it off following my daily commute to work, it refuses to turn off. The usual holding the power button untl the light turns red works, but the BH-111 then flickers and shows the green light continuously again.
After checking the manual on nokia.com there doesn't appear to be a reset.
how to get it to turn off, or is it faulty and in need of a return?
