View 1 RepliesI have an iPhone 4s (Verizon). I had recently purchased what was described as an OEM screen plus LCD after I had cracked my factory screen. After replacing the screen and LCD such features as the side volume controls, vibrate switch, and proximity switch (dimming after accepting a call) have stopped working. I double checked to see that all of the connectors were pushed on correctly and they were. Is it possible this may not be an OEM screen and causing the problem or is there a piece of the hardware that I may have damaged that controls all of these functions (i.e. motherboard)?

I just updated my iPhone 4s to iOS 5.1 yesterday, and now I noticed that the volume control buttons on the earphone are not working. I can still listen to music and the pause button is still working. Is it caused by the update?

I have a Torch 9800 and the volume buttons on the right side of my phone don't seem to be working with any music program (Pandora, Slacker Radio, etc.) other than the normal Music program that comes with the phone. Is there something I need to do to configure the buttons for third-party music programs? It used to work just fine with these programs but no more!
View 3 Replies View RelatedAll of a sudden I have a problem with the volume on my phone. I know it isn't a problem with the speakers as all my videos play normally with sounds, and when I try to change the ringtone, it plays. However, I cannot adjust the volume using the volume buttons on the side, and the silence switch doesn't work...when I press any of them, there is no on screen confirmation of a change. The ohphone also doesn't play any noise when I have an incoming call or text. But I like I said, I can play videos with sound, I can go to settings and sound and hear the ringtones. I have reset, and restored the phone but nothing has made any difference.

previously, my browser had trouble loading pages from time to time: blue progress bar moves 2/3rds over but gets stuck today, the browser wont function normally anymore: can't select any new pages, and even the quick controls on the side is frozen! i rebooted, and it seems to work now, though the typing on this forum is sluggish in responce.
View 5 Replies View RelatedThe music volume in maximum volume while using earphones is too low in my E5-00 compared to Nokia Xpressmusic 5310. Is it normal for E5 or is there anything I can do to make the music volume loud.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen using speakerphone on E52 sound volume is too low. Even if I keep it on max,it's still too low.Considering that ringtones can be played with a lot stronger volume using the same speaker (as speakerphone does) - I assume there must be a "trick" to pump up the volume of speakerphone, right ?Any code or workaround ??? This is somewhat silly situation, ringtones quite loud, speakerphone too low
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just bought my E72 a day ago and tried to listen to one of the default videos. Had the volume level on max, even then the sound/music is not /barely audible. Moreover the Talking display also is not actually loud enough to be able to hear from a hands distance.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy buttons seemed to have stopped working properly. In order to adjust the volume using the side button, I have to shut down the phone and then restart it. It will work for a while and then stops working and I have to go thru the process again. The home button just works whenever it wants. It doesn't fix the problem when I restart the phone. I can slide my finger in a circle around the button and it still doesn't work.

I just bought an E55, my first impressions are excellent, except for one thing: the volume of the music player when using the provided headset is too low! Also trying other headsets didn't help much. When setting the maximum volume, it can be ok for a quiet environment such as home, but it's still useless on the road, in the underground, and in other noisy environments where the ambient noise covers the music. The same files play much louder when using the same headset on my old Nokia 5300.I also tried playing around with the equalizer but it didn't help. Is there any way to work around this? Some hidden settings? Some other music player I can install? Some better headset?
View 1 Replies View RelatedJust bought a Nokia E5-00. Although the sound quality is pretty good, the volume in my headphones is low for outside noise (tried 4 pairs, sennheiser, akg, iphone and the ones that came with the phone) . Is there a way to increase the volume in the headphones, or a music player that has an option like that ?
View 4 Replies View RelatedIt would be good to have more than 10 volume levels (20 for example is good) when pressing + or - buttons on the side for changing volume. Many times I need volume level between those avaliable ones when listening music. Looking forward to see this on new software update.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've got some channels saved in my favourites but can't figure out how to change the volume. With FM, it's obvious but not so (to me anyway!) with internet radio.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I use the Media Player it seems to be playing MP3 not on a speaker, but on a
loudspeaker only. How do I mute the loudspeaker volume when playing my MP3 recordings - basically what I need is to be able to play recordings on a speaker (but not on a loudspeaker, which is on a back side of the phone - next to camera)
I have updated to Belle and the volume control in video player is gone. Sound is too low. Is this normal?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've a Nokia E6-00, when I want to watch live (i.e. a TV channel) from the website, I see perfectly the video but have no audio (and volume setting is at the top). I've tried with headphones, loudspeaker, in dual mode (3G and GSM).
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am having an issue with the volum up button to the side (the volum down works just fine). Is there and alterantive way to increase the phones volume (when playing music). I cant seem to find the setting to do that.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought a Nokia E7 yesterday. My previous phone for E61i. I see that the speaker volume is too low in E7. I have set the volume to max using the volume control but still the volume is too low compared to E61i. I find it difficult to do calls with loud speaker on. I do lot of conf calls and this is very important for me.
I did few video recordings and found that the sound output is sort of metallic.
I just simply haven't been able to figure out a couple of things:
1) When I dial a number there is an annoying beep when I press the call button. I can't figure out how to disable it.
2) I can't seem to "lock" the ring volume controls. I set it for a low volume ring but somehow it keeps resetting itself to ring loud. How do I keep the ring volume at the level I set it? TIA.
my trackpad isn't working! i cannot scroll up down or side to side! ive tried taking out the battery, but nothing seems to work?
View 4 Replies View RelatedFinally got marshmallow! Just, there is this issue with the Volume controls not disappearing.
So far i have
-wiped the cache
-rebooted twice
-googled the problem
Still no dice.
My external speaker doesn't work for notifications or ipod audio. It only vibrates no matter what type of notification sound is selected. Incoming calls come through the speaker ok. I cannot control the volume with the side volume buttons unless I am in the Settings>Sounds screen and if I move the volume on the touch screen first. Of course the mute button on the side upper left above the voume controls is not on. Also, the setting under Settings>Sounds>"Change with Buttons" is "ON". I have reset the iPhone and the nothing has changed. I know the volume buttons work because when I plug the earphones in, it will control the volume up or down.it is a software issue or setting.

View 2 Replies View RelatedReferring to Nokia 5800, is their a simpler way to access the Volume/Ringer controls other than going into Profiles? I read somewhere about being able to create a Shortcut in my Apps to these functions.
