Motorola Xoom :: Search Exchange Email On 4.0.4 ICS?

I have a corporate email account, and we employ Exchange Server 2003, and I've set up my Xoom to sync using the corporate settings which use Exchange ActiveSync (I believe). The documentation for ICS 4.0 states that the update brings "improved email": "To help you locate and organize IMAP and Exchange email, the Email app now supports nested mail subfolders, each with synchronization rules. I just realized that as of April 19, I have not been able to send anything on my Outlook Exchange email accoutn. It's receiving just fine, but my Outbox is full of unsent mail! I remember a problem we had in the past with not being able to reply to messsages, but these are both replies and new messages. My settings are all exactly the same as my DroidX phone, which sends just fine. I have a command at the top of my Outbox that says "Send All Messages," but it doesn't do anything.I've rebooted a couple of times, with no change.

I've searched here and not seen anyone else with the same problem, but Google is full of them.
Basically, if I create a new message it will send from my WiFi only Xoom via my Exchange account. However, if I reply to a message it just sits in the Outbox forever.
POP3 is fine.
It was fine before I upgraded to 3.1, and my HTC Desire running 2.2 works fine too.

I'm able to search emails on my Droid 4 by clicking the magnifying glass but am not able to do the same with email tasks. I have hundreds of these things are they're difficult to manually look through.

i can create and send exchange emails, i can receive emails. however if i reply to an email it never sends. i have removed my account and readded same issue. i can send from my android 2.2 mobile.

I have a Xoom WiFi, updated to Jellybean. I use the built-in calendar app from Google. I have my Exchange account added, and email comes through fine. In the calendar, only SOME of my appointments show up. I figured out that it is certain categories that don't make it through... Personal, Networking, etc don't work but Business, Vacation, Firm Event, etc do. It's quite strange.

I have added an Exchange account to the Xoom. Guess that kind of account is based on what is called ActiceSync.
Unfortunalety it does not sync calendar and contacts automatically. It only syncs when I reboot the tablet, or when I turn off and on syncing manually in the settings.My provider uses an Open-Xchange server. My Android mobile phone syncs perferctly well with it.

Cannot setup Exchange 2010 Active Sync account. I keep getting the following error:"You entered an incorrect server address or the server requires a protocol version that Email does not support"'m an Exchange admin & have other devices in the enviroment. My account works on other devices. I've tried other test accounts on the Xoom & cannot get it to sync with Exchange. Newb with hopefully an easily answered question.Had a Droid 2 originally... you could hit the search button from within the the standard email app and search within the folder you were viewing... it would return matches on to/from/subject... useful for when you needed to find a quick email for reference.Just got a Droid 4 and am trying the same thing... but to no avail. Search always returns 0 results. I could have sworn this worked on the 4 as well, but I might be dreaming.Anyone know if this is a bug, search index issue, etc.? Would really like to have this work, if at all possible.

I'm not sure how to describe this annoyance, but hopefully someone knows how to resolve the issue.About a month ago I received a spam Email (AOL) which I have linked to the default Email client.I deleted the Email without opening the Email but ever since the header appears everytime I receive a new Email notification in the systray.Fortunately it wasn't anything of a comprmising nature just a sales pitch for the "Original Orgreenic Pan".I've tried removing the account as well as deleting the email cache to no avail.

Every since the ICS update I can no longer get Exchange "Push" email to work correctly. I had to turn it back to checking every 5 minutes.

Since updating to Lollipop. my Exchange contacts are not syncing in my phone's stored contacts or with any apps outside of the stock email app. I have the "Sync contacts" box checked in the email app settings.

A coworker has a DOD encryption device on his computer. Whenever he sends me any email from his computer, I get the feather with the red exclamation point and the message [Unable to decrypt this message]. If I click on the red exclamation point I get the following:Digital signature informationDigital signature error.RROR: Unable to get certificatedata.My previous Droid 1 would display the messages from my coworkers computer without an error. We use a Microsoft Exchange email server. What do I need to do to be able to view emails from this coworker?He forwarded me the same message from his iPhone 3S and I was able to view it. So it has something to do with the encryption. I saw someone had the same problem on the Droid Razr HD / Droid HD MAXX forum.

I have searched other forums but have not found a fix. While configuring my Exchange signature block on my Razr it all looks great but the recipient sees phone numbers and address as hyperlinks, instead of just email address as a link. The phone and address links obviously go no where once clicked.

On my Razr M, from time to time the phone will stop getting mail. Push is on. Normally works fine, however in the last few days, I'll notice that there is no mail and the last update was hours ago. If I reboot the phone, it all works again. Three different exchange accounts on the phone and the problem happens will all three accounts at the same time. When this does happen, I still have internet connectivity. Wifi or 4g makes no difference.

Since upgrading, CorporateSync can no longer communicate with our MS Exchange email server at work. I am in I.T., and spent the moring with two co-workers troubleshooting this. We moved the phone into a test area with no policies, then turned on and off each policy, testing connectivity results for each one.The only policy preventing the phone from connecting to the server was, "Password Required". The phone can connect to the server only if a password is not required.

while I was working from my laptop for a few days I didn't want mail being duplicated on to my Xoom too so I did something that prevented mail from downloading.I have two email accounts set up and they have both worked fine previously. One is an Exchange account and the other is not.Unfortunately I can't remember what I did and now that I want to receive email on my tablet again I can't do it. Can't even send a test message. I've gone through account settings and my server details are correct, got it set to 15 minutes inbox check, ticked email notifications, got the servers checked to sync, etc.What other settings am I missing that may be behind this problem

I have three POP3 comcast accts set up, currently scheduled to refresh every 10 mins.The application is just not loading new emails; even when I try to manually refresh the refresh icon just spins ans spins with no progress- not good.

I have the original Xoom 4G, Android 4.0.4 and use it every day. Here's my issue .... When I delete an email message, I get a new email notification shortly after. If I delete 3 messages, I get a notification that I have 3 new messages.Of course when I check, there are none. I tried removing the email account and reconfiguring it, but that didn't help.

Sometimes I notice that I dont get any new e-mail notifications and I have to restart the Xoom to kick it off again. When I open email, also... the indicator for synching just pinwheels forever.

I added a corp email acct and after several tries it took, or at least i seeemails show up in real time but I cant find them anywhere. My Yahoo email has its own icon but nothing for the corp acct.

Is there a way to set up email to sync over wifi only? The option is available on my phone which I have unlimited data on, it would only make sense for Motorola to put it on a tablet that has a limited data plan.

I've noticed that when I send an email directly from the xoom standard email client my signature is present in the email body, however when the "send email" to a recipient option is selected from the contacts application the signature is missing.What could be causing this inconsistency and is there something I can do about it?
