I've noticed that when I send an email directly from the xoom standard email client my signature is present in the email body, however when the "send email" to a recipient option is selected from the contacts application the signature is missing.What could be causing this inconsistency and is there something I can do about it?
View 5 RepliesAnyone else missing the 'Edit Signature' option under Email Settings on their 9650? I just noticed this afternoon it's not there. I'm running 5.0.0.810 on BES.Not sure how long it has been missing; if it has been gone since June since I switched from my 8330 to this 9650 or if it was when I upgraded from .732 to .810.
Just wanted to check, I'll probably try downgrading back to .732 to see if it brings it back.I've actually only got three options under Email Settings; Enable HTML, Download images and Confirm external image download.
I'm having an issue with my email on the new ICS upgrade. The body of the emails are not showing up. Anyone else having this issue and is there a fix?

I have searched other forums but have not found a fix. While configuring my Exchange signature block on my Razr it all looks great but the recipient sees phone numbers and address as hyperlinks, instead of just email address as a link. The phone and address links obviously go no where once clicked.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI am following the instructions to copy the files from my xoom to a windows 7 PC (64 bit). It does not copy all the files and folders. For example when I do the select all instructed I only get 4 of the 13GB of data. I saw that it only copied the music files in the directory music, none of the sub-directories. I could then select all the folders in music and copy them over (none of my music on the xoom has any DRM). I was still missing some files. When I hook the xoom up via the USB cable I get the following mounted:
ComputerXoomInternal Storage
I can not drag Internal Storage to the folder created on the windows 7 pc, it is just a red circle with a line thru it. I can select all the directories/folders under Internal Storage, but it randomly picks which directories/files/sub-directories to copy.
Perhaps a problem with the win 7 pc driver?
Before I send the xoom off (and I have my packing box already) I would like to back it up completely.

I was able to open an email setup confirmation from Blackberry but that is it. In addition I cannot surf the web or connect to the web. Verizon told me a defective phone but all else seems to work fine.Could it be a firmwear upgrade?

Read a fix to turn off predictive text so I have to do that now just to use the email app.Now, I can't even type in the body of an email. If I create a new email, it prompts for the recipient, which I enter fine. Then it lets me select the subject field but it will not go into the body of the email when I touch it to begin typing my email. I've tried changing keyboards, minimizing the keyboard - nothing. This happens about 95% of the time.

(no paperclip symbol). I receive all other attachments fine when the email is not digitally signed.Using Verizon Wireless as carrier.if the signed email was sent to my Gmail account all attachments appear as normal.

Whenever i sent someone message they get in the footer less of a pretty line, well, it's not even a line more of a commercial for ovi store "Ovi store new apps every day" followed by link to ovi store. And it is not same as setting up signature in my mail. Because coworker of mine didn't have anything in his signature settings.

When I get rid of the signature and just sign my name, it says my name twice. I have made sure that I don't have a signature set on my phone, and so it is just my hotmail one.
