I'm in Ontario Canada. I'm wondering why I can't access the web page where my webmail is located.The screen says, "Data connectivity problem. A secure connection could not be established".Does this mean I will not be able to access my persona.ca emails on ths device?
View 7 RepliesMy droid x2 global cannot access my work webmail which is https, however it can access another work https site. My work IT people say its a Motorola droid OS problem. I chatted with Motorola and they could not access the sites either, saying that the phone doesn't support it. They said they would attempt to fix the problem in the future.
View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter the recent GB update on my Droid X2 I am no longer able to access my outloook webmail url using the browser. Before being forced to take the GB update, I could type in https://webmail.medplus.com. I would get a certificate message and after hitting continue I would get the prompt for user name and password. I've tried other browsers with no luck. I've spent hours on the phone with Verizon support and we've narrowed it down to only phone that have GB software. I had this exact same issue with my Droid X when I got that GB update and moved to the X2 because that wasn't supposed to get GB. I've tried other android phones and those without GB I can access the site without issue.
Is anyone else having trouble accessing an outlook webmail url thru their browser with the GB update? My suspicion is that after the update google isn't playing well with microsoft as I've noticed some issues with hotmail post update that didn't exist preupdate.
i have a problem with some wifi networks as the connection goes idle after few minutes and i have to disconnect and reconnect in order to surf the web. i have read that there was some hardware update released on april 28th that fixes some issues with proxy and ssl is that update included in 3.1 or it is separate hardware specific one

The restore went fine, but the connectivity was dead. when i tried to reflash, i got a new not known device called Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 and rsd failed. When i've done that before it always went fine... only this time not. I searched a lot in the net, but didn't found a way to recover it.

For example when I wake up in the morning, I see the WiFi symbol and the network connectivity symbol. The data symbol in the middle (H+, E or G) is missing. It sometimes won't turn on all day unless I switch the airplane mode on and off.

View 6 Replies View Relatedi have not been able to get a data connection all day. i lost my data connection near my house this morning right on the border of 4g/3g area. i drove to work about 25 miles away where there is 3g only and still have not been able to establish a data connection. i have rebooted the phone, pulled the battery, rebooted in safe mode, switched to cdma only, switched on an off airplane mode countless times and still have no data connection. i do have a 3g icon with almost 4 bars in the status bar, but no connection. browser not connecting, no facebook, no Internet...nothing.

I'm a lawyer and need to access calendar and email on the run.I can't get my email from my website to set up. I keep getting an "invalid server certificate" message. I've been on tech support with Verizon, Inmotion hosting, Amazon Wireless (where I bought the phone) and Motorola but noone seems to be able to answer why this isn't working. View 8 Replies View RelatedI would like to think that I am somewhat OK with using the XOOM based on the fact that I have an original DROID and have been dealing with the ANDROID OS for some time now. I have yet to load any files on the XOOM itself, but I was wondering how I go about accessing files once they are put on the XOOM. I have uploaded pictures and placed those in the picture folder but they are easy to find due to the gallery. When plugged into my laptop I can see all of the different folders, but I cannot figure out how to get to them when not plugged into the laptop. You can do a long touch on the DROID homescreen and it will give you the options of seeing, shortcuts, widgets, folders and wallpapers. This is how I would access files with the DROID. It does not work the same for the XOOM.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Motorola Xoom and I have just upgraded to ICS 4.0.4, prior to this I didn't have any problems accessing my wireless router...Netgear WGR614V6....but since the upgrade I've tried everything and I can't get Internet access. I go to settings and click on "Wireless" (You can see that it sees it amongst the list of Routers) and it shows that it is protected by the encryption "PSA-PSK". I put in the password and it goes through the motions but it doesn't connect. It shows that it is looking for an IP address but then it doesn't pass the authentication. I have even tried "WEP" but to no avail. Has anyone had this problem..is there a fix or do I have to go back to "HoneyComb".

View 15 Replies View RelatedIt's wireless and has 3.2.1 installed, and has build # HTK75D. last week it was showing up on My Computer and I was able to save all in the system. Today I'm unable to access it in My Computer, in fact when I plug in the USB plug into the computer with Win 7 Pro it does not give a bing sound that sounds normally when a USB plug it plugged in. the same result when I tried a different hard drive. All my other USB toys work OK. I even installed "MotoHelper_2.0.53_Driver_5.2.0" with no positive results.

So, I looked at the CNet CQR-981 that will accept a USB modem (which the DAP350 apparently does not)The problem as I see it is that they all need some form of setting up/driver, and those will not be available for Andriod-or am I missing something? I have an OTG cable and android 3.1. can anyone help me I would really like the usb drives working that is all I need. I tried a google search and they all say it must be rooted, is that true? They just don't show up in Gallery. I can open them from ES File Explorer fine. Same with Music, I can open /sdcard/Music and all my music is there but when I open the Music App, it reports"You don't have any music in your library." I can open any song from the file explorer.Also I can no longer see any files in storage when I connect my Xoom via USB to my Win7 pc, the internal storage shows up but is empty.
