Had some issues with the Dock icons at the bottom of the screen. Tried to solve the issue with Go Launcher EX. I want to return to the original Photon Launcher and get rid of Go Launcher EX. Go Launcher EX took over without asking if I wanted to use it over my stock launcher. Now this Go Launcher EX is a non-removable program.
View 3 RepliesI was at the Texas State Fair this weekend, and a Verizon guy was trying to con my family into all these "deal." He did have a Bionic, which I managed to get to play with. It was not long before I concluded that the Bionic is way faster than the DROID3. And that's with livewallpapers on. I fired up the camera app, did some browsing on the browser, and nothing. No redraw, no lag.
Now, the launcher speed did improve with the update. But it is still not up to speed with Bionic, it will still redraw coming out of intensive apps, and Launcher Pro blows it out of the water in all but one area. Oh and I went through quite a few pages on the Bionic forums, and did a search for both "lag" and "redraw" and came up fairly empty. With live wallpapers on, Launcher Pro's app drawer drops frames. Live wallpapers doesn't seem to affect the stock launcher at all. Overall LP is faster, but not that one little area.
So when are we going to get some attention around here in Bionic soak test land???
It would be nice to fit more than 4x4. My preference would be 6x4, but, nonetheless.Grid dimensions be modified on stock launcher?

Please try again" and has a force close button.Hitting the Force Close causes the message to re-appear.Powering off and back on again, causes the message to re-appear.Is there a way to reset the device using the buttons (I have no menus, navigation or anything other than the message above so cant go to the config to do a factory reset).

View 19 Replies View RelatedI am on the latest firmware BOI1 and i decided to root my sprint s6 the other day to try and do a sim unlock. so i am trying now to return it to stock. i downloaded the correct firmware and used the latest odin3(i believe it is the latest) and the md5 check would do good but when i tried to flash the actual firmware it kept hanging on "setupConnection" and fails
Wiped cache and factory reset from recovery. It has hung at getting pit now the last couple times. I re downloaded the firmware directly from sammobile website this time.

I just changed to Nova Launcher, which I find better than the stock launcher. However, now I find that I cannot access the Weather Widget from the Widget Menu. Most/all other widgets seem to be listed there, but the weather widget is missing!
Is there any way I can get this widget on Nova? I really liked that widget, and it seemed fairly accurate too. But I don't want to get back to the stock launcher just for it.

using Photon 4G with Airtel prepaid sim with system version 45.3.6.MB855.Sprint.en, Whenever I run short codes (USSD codes) like *123# to check my prepaid GSM balance or interact with service provider by *121# it takes long time showing USSD code running.. and after few mins either shows MMI successfully complete or MMI failed but doesnt actually show the text which is shown in my other GSM phones; to query balance or activate some service. Tried forums but no concrete solution.

Mine seems to hang at night (seemingly about 20min after I plug it in for charging) and stays on yesterdays date and time until somehow it corrects itself the next day. View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a major issue with my corporate exchange calendar. If I accept an invitation to a meeting, the phone makes me the organizer of the meeting. This syncs back to my corporate calendar. This is obviously completely wrong. If I delete the meeting on my phone, or on my computer, it sends out a message to everyone that was on the meeting saying that it was cancelled. If I need to adjust the meeting only on my calendar, it sends out an update to everyone. It has caused a lot of confusion for me and my work colleagues.

My girlfriend has called me for the past three days and she says my phone rings and rings and goes to voicemail. I have Sprint Service. I am not using TeleNav or any other navagation, I am just using the GPS mode and Bluetooth is also running. I dont have any other issues with not receiving incoming calls unless its in the dock.

I did a full factory reset about a month ago. the last couple of days the phone has been freezing with the alarm. the alarm will go off and I might get one or two snoozes out of it then the display freezes and is unresponsive. O can push the power button to get the power off menu but the screen will not respond to allow a power off, I must remove the battery to reset the phone.and as anyone who has a Photon knows how much fun putting the back on is. Any ideas.again this is a pretty fresh reboot and I do not have near as many apps running as before the reboot
