Nov 27, 2015I have a question, on the LG G4 Stock Launcher, it shows View Apps as Custom in the menu but how does one set the order of the apps?

Dec 8, 2013I have an HTC One from AT&T, and I just began using Nova Launcher. How can I delete some of the stock apps like FM Radio, Stocks, AT&T apps, etc with Nova Launcher? I've gone into the App menu under settings and disabled a few, but some don't have that option. Is there any easy way to get rid of these unwanted apps?

Oct 6, 2011I was at the Texas State Fair this weekend, and a Verizon guy was trying to con my family into all these "deal." He did have a Bionic, which I managed to get to play with. It was not long before I concluded that the Bionic is way faster than the DROID3. And that's with livewallpapers on. I fired up the camera app, did some browsing on the browser, and nothing. No redraw, no lag.
Now, the launcher speed did improve with the update. But it is still not up to speed with Bionic, it will still redraw coming out of intensive apps, and Launcher Pro blows it out of the water in all but one area. Oh and I went through quite a few pages on the Bionic forums, and did a search for both "lag" and "redraw" and came up fairly empty. With live wallpapers on, Launcher Pro's app drawer drops frames. Live wallpapers doesn't seem to affect the stock launcher at all. Overall LP is faster, but not that one little area.
So when are we going to get some attention around here in Bionic soak test land???
Xperia Ray :: Stock Weather Widget Not Accessible From Alternate Launcher
Jun 3, 2012I'm on the latest official ICS 4.0.4. I was using the stock weather widget when using the stock Xperia Home Launcher. I just changed to Nova Launcher, which I find better than the stock launcher. However, now I find that I cannot access the Weather Widget from the Widget Menu. Most/all other widgets seem to be listed there, but the weather widget is missing!
Is there any way I can get this widget on Nova? I really liked that widget, and it seemed fairly accurate too. But I don't want to get back to the stock launcher just for it.
I know the stock Weather Widget is from Accuweather, but I am unable to find the same same widget on the Android Market. Screen showing 2 widgets in question below:

Bootloader is unlocked by the way.

Jan 29, 2013just picked up an S2 from sprint as a replacement for HTC Evo.Great phone all around, however i`m having one issue. HTC Sense UI has an option to preview messages(2lines) and missed calls right(who and time) on lock screen. This is really handy option with small kids around you dont have to unlock your phone.Since S2 is missing that I've downloaded Notify App which works great.However - I cannot turn off stock notifications - they still show up - so at this time I have to clear notifications twice - once in App and once in Notifications Bar. Is there a way of turning off stock notifications (without custom ROM)? On all other phones i had - there was an option to go to Settings Privacy and uncheck the notifications. This is missing on S2 - all i can see under privacy is Reset to Factory.I really like the phone and how smooth it is. At this point i really dont want to do a custom ROM (`ill root it if need it)

Sep 4, 2012Came to use my MA for my ride into work this morning, and the screen simply says "The application Launcher (process com.android.launcher) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" and has a force close button.Hitting the Force Close causes the message to re-appear.Powering off and back on again, causes the message to re-appear.Is there a way to reset the device using the buttons (I have no menus, navigation or anything other than the message above so cant go to the config to do a factory reset).

The stock browser User Agent is still accessible through about:debug but most sites are still redirected to a mobile version even when "Desktop" is selected. my favorite browser wont deliver a non-mobile view unless you select the UA as I-Pad. That can't be good. Anyway....all was well on my OG Droid and now I'm about to give up on this dilemma and just install DolphinHD or something.

Jan 12, 2012So, got excited about the MotoACTV this past Saturday and bought online through Motorola. Realized soon after that my local REI had it in stock and I had a xmas gift certificate. Went to REI and purchased it - (Canceled my order for the Garmin 910XT in the process) Went back to the site to try and cancel my order but the 'Cancel items or order' button on my order page wasnt' functional. No biggie, I'll call. After being passed around to the same 3 depts TWICE, I was finally told the ecommerce section was closed for the weekend. Once again, I understand that.I then call on Monday, they tell me the order hasn't yet shipped but I'm not allowed to cancel it at that point. Don't quite understand and getting a bit frustrated at this point but whatever, I'll deal. Customer rep tells me that they'll issue a return slip and email it to me.
OK, I'm good with that.Wednesday comes and still no email with return slip. I call, go through the same 3 depts again and get someone else who tells me that it takes a while to get the return slip but I'll have it within 24 hours.24 hours goes by, I call again and get hung up on 3 times in the process before I can ever get to anyone. Once I get someone on the line, they tell me that it should be to me within the next couple of days... A RETURN SLIP?Once I finally lost my temper a bit, they said it would be 'escalated' and that I should be receiving it within a few hours... we'll see. They also let me know that I could not return it without the receipt.Meanwhile, I've completely soured on the one that I purchased and I'm considering returning it as well and changing my order back to the Garmin. By the way, I called Garmin's support team just to compare... night and day!

Aug 18, 2012For those of you who want to view websites in desktop mode on your mobile I would first recommend you just use Dolphin browser. They have an easy toggle add on that you can go back and forth between mobile and desktop modes very quickly. If you must have the stock Android browser I have a trick for you too. Open up stock browser, in the url type "about:debug" Nothing will appear to happen. Now press menu>More>Settings>(in debug area) UAString>Desktop. You may have to refresh the Page for the new settings to take effect. Now you are surfing in desktop mode!

On S5 & Note Edge It has a 3 dot icon on the top right hand corner & if you press that it will show all the functions like "Sort by."
