I'm unable to download maps to my Motoactv device. When I click on a particular map on the maps screen, all I get is garbled data (presumably raw image files?). This seems to be the case for any map I select. I've tried right-clicking and saving the map files, however it saves them as *.htm files, which is presumably the wrong format for the device.I'm using IE9 on Windows 7 64-bit.

Your device's memory card is full. free some memory. Amount of memory required: 648 MB, amount of memory currently available: 817 MB.
I updated my OVI Suite software (to 3.0.0.284) and the software on my E52 (to 052.003). I first tried to upload one map and it reported full memory. Then I tried to update existing maps and got the message above. Then I deleted ALL maps and tried to upload ONE map and again there was not enough memory..
i am having a problem with my lumia 800. whenever i try to download maps in nokia drive, after the download starts and reaches around 20-25% , suddenly the home screen appears and i have to redownload the map. the problem is arising every time. I have lots of free memory so memory isnt an issue, my software is also up-to date.

View 11 Replies View RelatedSo I'd like to add my local bike trails to the maps that are built-in to motoactv. Anyone have any idea on how to do this? Or if this is even posible? I'm about to start looking to the internal map files but I thought I'd post it up here to see if anyone else had looked at this.Right now I have my local trails in google earth as paths. I know you can add routes to my motoactv but this doesn't work very well for a complete trail system. And then I have to decide ahead of time which trail I'm going to take that day. I'd much rather just look down and see all the connections wtih my position included on my motoactv.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI installed the CoPilot GPS App a couple of days ago - Maps are stored onboard.
I notice now that the map stored to my phones internal memory rather than to my SD card - I don't recall the app asking me where to store the map.
Must I change a phone setting to accomplish this going forward? I found this in settings under Windows Media Sync:
Settings / SD card and phonestorage / Storage location - then I am presented the opiton of choosing internal phone storage or SD card.
But I still wouldn't consider a GPS map to be "Windows Media" in need of a sync (?)
Just got in from a run. Device won't sync, just sits there with 'syncing' on the screen for minutes on end. Also, the MA website won't let me into the workout data. It just says 'unable to process request'. Device synced fine Sunday, but not today. First elevation issue, not I can't even sync my workouts or view them.

I have recently purchased a motoactv which works great, but when I try and connect it to a computer it doesn't connect properly. The initial connection via usb managed to install the USB Composite Device driver, but failed to install the Motorola Networking Interface and the Motorola ADB Interface. Nothing else happens. Whenever I connect or disconnect I do get the notification sound, but again nothing else. It does not even appear in my computer. I tried system restore to a previous point to remove the drivers and try again, but on the initial connection of the device exactly the same thing happened again. I have tried installing motocast but have had no results with that either.

View 15 Replies View RelatedI can not get my Motoactv software updated.I did a search of the website and it sends me to a page that just lists the updates, but nothing about how to do the update.I have a Mac, and have installed Motocast on the Mac....when that's running, I select Check for Updates, but that only checks for updates to the Motocast software, not the Motoactv software.
View 5 Replies View RelatedAbout a month ago I bought the Nokia 5800 as I wanted the free Sat Nav, I have version 3.01 on the phone, when I phoned Nokia about something else I asked them about version 3.03 and they told me I could not install this until I had used all the days of my 10 free trial, then I was to ring them again and they would help install it for me, after 55 minutes on the phone we had no joy, so I decided to try myself and did it first time. Now the question I need answered with your help is, I am going to Italy in June and when I open the GPS (offline) it works fine in the UK where I live, and when I input the town Pisa, Italy it finds it on the maps, does this mean that the Sat Nav will work in Italy or is this just a map?
When you download version 3.03 does it download all the maps?Also is there anyway I can find out which maps I have on the phone?
I don't know if this is an issue with the current software on the MOTOACTV or not, but I am not that happy with this. The ability to answer calls during runs was one of the primary reasons I went with this watch. I had since changed my phone as well to take advantage of it. Now that I have the SF600, I am still unable to answer calls on the motoactv and, when answered on the phone, the headset does not route the call.What am I missing?Equipment:Phone - Droid RAZRMotoactv - 8GB w/system version 4.55.78

When I connect to the system and check for latest software, motocast always report back saying there is not new files to update. May I know how to upgrade to the latest firmware?

Two of them are gray on my device "file type not supported" (they are both mp3s, same as the episodes I've listened to) The last time I attempted to sync, inexplicably it REMOVED all of the podcast episodes from my device, when I was trying to ADD several new ones. View 15 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a nokia E7 (Blue) US Version but I am using it in Canada. I updated it to Symbian Anna and so on. Everytime I try to add new maps from the cell phone itself it says (downloading list, please wait) this takes FOREVER, then i try to do it by nokia ovi suite, well that is even worse, sometimes it says THERE SEEMS TO BE A PROBLEM WITH CONNECTING THE ONLINE MAPS, sometimes it says some crazy errors (COULDNT CONNECT TO THE SERVICE, ETCC). I deleted the E:/cities folder + QF file, I opened the Ovi map apps and they got restored and so on but still nothing happens. Is there any other way to add some map I mean MANUALLY? I need the USA and Canada map, (voice guidande male us), I read some discussion from Ovikudy on how to do it manually but i need theses files.
BTW, I regret buying this Nokia E7 big time I should have listened to my friends and go to ANDROID. I know nokia is killing symbian but please fix those MAP serverS.
I cannot drag and drop my existing workout plans onto the calendar when using my Windows based PC. It works fine on my Mac...I have checked my security settings and it does not seem to be those that are stopping it from working.
