My wifi network requires that I enter a user name and password. Is it possible to connect to a network with user name? Can I just change my profile name on the device to be my user name.

The MA detects the Sync but when I click on it it just says connection fails. The Sync requires that you enter a code so I assume this is the reason for the connection failure.

After this update it seems the wifi is off and when I click on wifi settings it says "enabling wifi". View 8 Replies View RelatedI'm having problems with MOTOCAST in Windows XP. It will not recognize any of the 3 wi-fi networks in my home when I search for networks. The computer sees all 3 of them just fine and can connect to any of them. MOTOCAST and my MOTOACTV device work just fine on my work computer (running Windows 7). I can upload to MOTOACTV just fine at work and can see the work wi-fi network. Problem is only on the home networks. Unfortunately, getting on the network at home is most important because that is where I workout. Additionally, I can't sync my workouts to the MOTOACTV website at all from home, not wirelessly and not via USB. MOTOCAST permits me to see the music files on my computer and sync with them but will not sync to MOTOACTV via the web. Not a problem on my work computer.

Is it possible to manually add your WiFi when it does not broadcast the SSID?
I have not been able to connect to my router and keep getting the error incorrect password or other error.I have tried power cycling my router, removing the password, changing the password to something simpler and motoactv stlil cannot connect.I am 100% sure the password is correct and all my other devices can connect to the router fine as well.

I've synced many times over the past four weeks both ways without any trouble, but after today's run, I tried to sync and nothing happens. Motocast USB will start up when I connect to my PC, it will attempt to sync, then returns with this message:

When I attempt to sync via Wi-Fi, I get the error: "Network Error. Internet Connection unavailable". Everything was working until today. Now, neither options work.
So I have moved into a new apartment, and when my iPhone finds the router and tries to log on, it asks for a username AND a password. When I use my Macbook, it just asks for a password, which I enter and get no further problems with. Â
I have tried entering the router's details manually using the 'Other' feature in the Wifi settings, and still cannot log on (either with WPA or WPA2).Â

I have an issue with the wifi connection...my x10 mini pro is recognising my home network but it isn't connecting...it was all well until i had a problem in my router and had to change the username and password...this latest username and password had not been updated in my phone and hence it just recognises or finds my home network but doesn't connect...where can i change the username of my home network in the phone? Speaker for music, notifications, phone rings...but when i try to make or receive a call, there is no audio on my end (whether on speaker, earpiece or bluetooth) and the microphone is dead as well.The only way to resolve this issue is to power cycle (reboot) the phone. But the thing that is driving me nuts is the music. When I hit random shuffle of all my songs, I hear songs I don't want to hear... song that I do not own on my computer. Where are these songs coming from? Today I heard "Boot Scoot Boogie!" I abhore country music as does my wife. Doing a computer wide search shows no evidence that the song exists on my computer. Yet there it is playing in mile four. Other mystery songs have showed up too. The performance music playlist seems to be filled with songs I never heard of, yet evidently I perform well to them.
