At work we have wifi that requires a username and password (our network user/pass), but when I try to connect to it with my milestone, it only prompts for the password, any idea how to set this up?

View 10 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to connect to a bluetooth device that requires a code to be entered? I am trying to connect to my Microsoft Sync radio so I can stream music. The MA detects the Sync but when I click on it it just says connection fails. The Sync requires that you enter a code so I assume this is the reason for the connection failure.

Any help with filling these areas out, i have called Rogers but tech support is not knowledgeable with the motorola Milestone.
I see so many threads where people are taking a Telus Motorola Milestone and trying to tweak it to run on Rogers network (at slower speeds than it would on Telus).Why are they just not going to Telus? Is there some other advantage to making the Motorola Milestone work with Rogers network?It just seems many people dislike Rogers - is there something about Telus and the Milestone I should know about? Maybe locked into a contract at Rogers... but it's not like the Moto hardware is cheap without contract through Telus (something like $599 CAN).

The phone is set to check my emails every 15 minutes, and when the failure happens I get the yellow triangle and the message that the account name or password is incorrect. If I just wait for anything from one to six hours it starts updating again. All this time my aol accounts & gmail accounts sync fine. Does not matter if I am in one place for this time, or travelling and so passing through many different cells. The failure can happen any time of day or night. During these times my .me account is accessible via my laptop & ipod Touch.

View 3 Replies View Relatedis there anything i can do to improve flash video playback? after the 2.2 update i was excited to be able to use flash on my phone, but video playback on it seems so bad that it's unwatchable.it's like a slideshow at best, and at worse i'm only getting one frame every thirty seconds or so. oddly enough the sound never skips or stutters at all.i've tried it over wifi and 3g. Internet videos in the native app and other non-flash streaming media seem to work perfectly.i'm using the stock browser with flash player 10.2.157.51 (the latest one available in the android market), and i've tried several different videos linked from m.flash.com
View 4 Replies View RelatedI updated my Milestone which is UAE version to Froyo yesterday after a long delay, was really excited all evening until i discovered two problems with my wifi.The Device does not connect to the corporate network as my office uses 802.1x EAP and there is no place to enter proxy where as my friends using samsung galaxy s (Froyo 2.2) connect to the network and browse using the wifi advanced settings to enter the proxy in their device.

But after some minute It restart with a blank screen then reboot to OS and MSU says update failed. My last resort is to flash it via RSDLITE but when im trying to get into bootloader it shows blank screen then reboot to OS. I cant enter to my bootloader.

View 2 Replies View RelatedHave a brand new install of Windows 7 64bit and a 6 month old Milestone 2 which has always succesfully connected to PC/Mac in USB mass storage mode, but when trying to connect to new Windows & PC the PC tries to install MTP drivers that fail.Solution is to select the failed device in device manager and manually install the driver selecting the device as a USB mass storage device and not the default MTP device.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAfter spending 2 hours on the forums and 2 hrs on motorola website, downloading the motorola software update and finding that the updater says that your phone is up to date with 2.1 (where as the motorola site says 2.2 is now available) and browsing thru unending discussions, I was unable to update my Motorola milestone to Android 2.2. I last week sent my phone to the service center to ask them to update it to 2.2, they returned the phone saying it is up to date.I am sick of removing applications and always worrying about the remaining ROM availability. When accessing the internet via a netbook running Windows (XP and 7), I first connect to the router and then log-on to the ISP, which I've set up as a network connection with the relevant username and password.Despite a favourable tariff for data, 3G connection here is not great. So when at home I'd like to improve browsing speed by linking to the broadband/DSL. So far I can get it to connect to the router, but I haven't yet found a way to log on to the ISP, or even somewhere to put in the account details.I'd be very grateful if some kind soul could point me in the right direction in how to configure my phone, which currently appears to be smarter than I am.

Speaker for music, notifications, phone rings...but when i try to make or receive a call, there is no audio on my end (whether on speaker, earpiece or bluetooth) and the microphone is dead as well.The only way to resolve this issue is to power cycle (reboot) the phone. Both are get before send and there is no log in needed.Every time I blank the username feild the application repopulates it with my email address. I'm guessing that is the reason that I can get mail but not send it with these 2 accounts.
