So I have moved into a new apartment, and when my iPhone finds the router and tries to log on, it asks for a username AND a password. When I use my Macbook, it just asks for a password, which I enter and get no further problems with. Â
I have tried entering the router's details manually using the 'Other' feature in the Wifi settings, and still cannot log on (either with WPA or WPA2).Â

I have an issue with the wifi connection...my x10 mini pro is recognising my home network but it isn't connecting...it was all well until i had a problem in my router and had to change the username and password...this latest username and password had not been updated in my phone and hence it just recognises or finds my home network but doesn't connect...where can i change the username of my home network in the phone? View 1 Replies View RelatedNo matter what I do in setting up my primary account on my iphone it keeps telling me my username and/or password is incorrect. I'm 100% sure it's correct. The account was working perfectly and nothing changed. I still use the email on my desk top so I know it is valid. It may even fetch the mail occasionally.

My friend had his Galaxy S5 set to unlock with a fingerprint, however yesterday the strangest thing happened. It no longer asks for a fingerprint, it goes directly to the alternate password. I would like to clarify again that its not that it does not accept his prints like happens to a lot of people, it simply does not give the choice to use them. Now I don't know if he forgot his password or the phone wont accept it (like he claims) but he can't use the alternate password to log into the phone. He is completely locked out. As a last case resort I will back up whatever I can using my computer and reset it to factory defaults.
As a final note I've tried the google device manager to reset the password, his S5 does not appear on his account. I expect that is because it is not a gmail account but a school account using google apps.

Only one of my 3 gmail accounts on my phone is acting up from time to time, saying incorrect username and/or password. I know this is false because I simply wait and the problem goes away. When I input the password set for the 8250 it will not allow connection to desktop. I have never set a password in 'Desktop' and have even tried uninstalling and then reinstalling it but each time I attempt to connect it rejects the link.
