Apr 10, 2012Everytime I open an app my iphone keeps on asking for the username and pasword. Does anyone know how to stop this?

Apr 19, 2012No matter what I do in setting up my primary account on my iphone it keeps telling me my username and/or password is incorrect. I'm 100% sure it's correct. The account was working perfectly and nothing changed. I still use the email on my desk top so I know it is valid. It may even fetch the mail occasionally.

Jun 5, 2014So I have moved into a new apartment, and when my iPhone finds the router and tries to log on, it asks for a username AND a password. When I use my Macbook, it just asks for a password, which I enter and get no further problems with. Â
I have tried entering the router's details manually using the 'Other' feature in the Wifi settings, and still cannot log on (either with WPA or WPA2).Â

I know for a fact that the username and password are both correct because I can still access my gmail account through my computer. I have deleted the account and have tried reading the account but it will not let me.

Mar 27, 2012Only one of my 3 gmail accounts on my phone is acting up from time to time, saying incorrect username and/or password. I know this is false because I simply wait and the problem goes away. Only this time, it's been 24 hours now and it still thinks its the wrong username and/or password. In the meantime, I'm able to use that username and password on my laptop with no problems. I've tried deleting the account on my phone and adding it again, but it still thinks incorrect username and/or password.

I have deleted the account and added it back again numerous times. This is what the support person I talked to told me to do. Sometimes I can get into my email and then all of a sudden I can't.

I enter the e-mail address originally used and the correct password but it says it doesn't recognise this. I have also tried to re-set the password but it says it is sending me an e-mail to do this but it never comes. I have set up a new user ID and password but don't know how to transfer that so it updates my I-phone.

What can she do to get her login details back so she can fix her phone? I was thinking we go to the Apple Store and give them some details about the account such as the address used, security questions and date of birth used on the account but i'm not sure if that works.
