When i go into the mail app, the message 'username or password for sky is incorrect' appears when it is not incorrect. How do i fix this?

When I try to open my Gmail on my iPhone 4, I get an error message that says Cannot Get Mail - The user name or password for "My Gmail" is incorrect. But they aren't. I have deleted the account and added it back again numerous times. This is what the support person I talked to told me to do. Sometimes I can get into my email and then all of a sudden I can't.

No matter what I do in setting up my primary account on my iphone it keeps telling me my username and/or password is incorrect. I'm 100% sure it's correct.
