i have encountered difficulties in my Internet application when i log in using my username and password, keeps on saying "authentication failed-the username or password is incorrect". where i can retriev my username or password?

No matter what I do in setting up my primary account on my iphone it keeps telling me my username and/or password is incorrect. I'm 100% sure it's correct. The account was working perfectly and nothing changed. I still use the email on my desk top so I know it is valid. It may even fetch the mail occasionally.

Only one of my 3 gmail accounts on my phone is acting up from time to time, saying incorrect username and/or password. I know this is false because I simply wait and the problem goes away. I've had the social networking widget working fine for some time. About a week ago the sync to my twitter account stopped working stating there was a username password problem. I tried setting up my personal entering details correctly and I get "authentication failed" ... I jump on a PC and CONFIRM the password I used was indeed correct. I tried setting up the account manually (POP3) which wasn't a problem, however the device has absolutely no interest trying to connect to my account and sync. It keeps telling me the OP3 server is not responding.
I have tried changing my password on the PC to something else. I then re-attempted the email set-up and received the same error...authentication failed. Now, google, gmail, yahoo, aol accounts (etc) ALL work fine. I decided to try the OTHER hotmail account...enter the details and BOOM. It worked. The device is running stock ROM and is rooted (problem also existed before root)

This is for a friends iPhone 4S. She always forgets her itunes password so I went to reset it for her through her phone. I went through everything and it said that it was reset to the new one. So then I updated her apps and that worked just fine. Then I went to download Pandora for her and it told me that her password was incorrect. Clearly it wasn't. I tried a few more times and it still didn't work. So then I reset it again. I tried resetting her password about 10 times and it still always says that it's wrong. I don't know what is going on. I've also tried restarting her phone and still nothing.
