IPhone 6 :: How To Turn Off Health-kit Steps Counting
Dec 2, 2014I have an iPhone 6 plus and recently purchased the Jawbone UP Move. The issue I am having is that both my Jawbone and healthkit are writing steps data to the dashboard. This is causing step counts to be extremely high. Additionally, the Jawbone is duplicating steps that it delivers to healthkit. So what I am seeing is duplicate Jawbone + Healthkit steps in my dashboard. Is there any way to turn off Healthkit from counting steps?Â

Motorola Motoactv :: Device Stoped Counting Calories/Distance During Workout
Mar 21, 2012 I had a great workout this morning, but when I was done, the calorie count was at 111. I worked out for 50 minutes and was expecting this to be at least 600.
When I uploaded the data, the calorie count stopped at about 10 minutes into the workout and the distance also stopped incrementing. I had heart rate information, but it was much lower than what I expected (I was working out much harder than the heart rate information shows.).
The image shows the results of the data. what could have caused this malfunction of the device?
Motorola Motoactv :: Steps At 37,000 After Lock Up
Jan 22, 2012Was disappointed to have my first lock up after only a few days use, but in the process of the freeze, my steps for the day has been recorded at 37,000. Is there a way to delete this? The reason why this is frustrating is that it has completely knocked out the scale on the wellness screen(as my max is usually around 15k steps).

Jan 4, 2013I recieved the Motoactv for Christmas. I was just getting into using it for daily routine baselines when the calorie and steps stopped displaying on the time screen. I noticed this occurence in the morning and thought it was a daily reset issue and it might clear it self. However, 2 days later the steps and calories are still not displaying. I was thinking I could have accidently changes a setting. I have played around through the settings and can't find a selection to turn those on or off.

Apr 19, 2012I can't imagine this hasn't been asked before, but my search-fu isn't doing too well on these forums. How does someone reset their calories burned and steps taken on their motoactv? Mine says something to the affect of 1200+ steps and 2000+ calories burned... but I imagine that's because it was in my car when I went to and from work. I never used it beyond that and testing at home.
I'd imagine the factory reset will do it, but I don't want to have to start all over again. You would think there would be a simple button to reset those stats.

Aug 1, 2011my phone has died in the past 24 hours. I received a message saying I was low on internal memory today - which was weird because I normally have about 50MB free. I noticed contacts new storage was at about 40MB, thought that was weird, but decided to free up some memory be deleting a few unused apps. I deleted about 40MB of unwanted items and my phone was good... for about 2 hours. The internal memory message popped up again, and this time, contacts new storage was using 80MB of internal memory. I currently have 0MB free. It appears CNS is using whatever free space I happen to have on my phone - which is weird since I haven't had problems for over a year with the app.
Sure, I have a linked Facebook account (which I have read can cause problems... hat and Twitter); however, I only have 100 contacts on Facebook...nothing extreme by any means. I have about 50 regular gmail contacts.I would like to be able to "clear data" and have the phone resync my contacts; however, clear data is almost always grayed out on my phone.
Motorola Motoactv :: Run Not Showing Up On New Portal
Jun 20, 2012I synced up my run wirelessly and on the watch it says it successfully completed. I sign on to the website, and I notice the new splash screen (portal update?) and my run is not on it. I can't even view the runs at all. Anytime I click on past runs, it just has those new screens telling me all the cool things portal can do.
Is this because of the updating? I'm on 1.7.3 N8, and new motocast software too.
I like my MOTOACTV, just want some type of clarity on problems. I'd rather see a "site down for a scheduled maintenance" than not being able to do anything on the site.
Motorola Motoactv :: Custom Workouts Not Showing?
Mar 13, 2012I've been using the custom workouts feature on Moto since the weekend. I have noticed that the custom workouts do not show up as the latest workout (my elliptical workout from Sunday is still showing as the latest). My custom workouts are also not showing up in the workout tab, neither in bar view nor table view. The only way I can access custom workouts on the portal is up top on the days of the week in the schedule. Is this a glitch with the new portal that is going to be ironed out?

Apr 3, 2012I purchased a new bike, and changed the setting default profile for cycle to MTB2, and I changed the tire size 29 after I noted the problem after the first run that the ACTV was set to the default cycle, (I guess) but since I started riding this bike the milage and mph have been off, the first ride was showing I think it was 22 miles, it was on 1 apr 2012, you can check my workouts, but we really rode about 27 miles. Today I rode exactly 22 miles and it was showing a little over 20 miles?
I hope I've missed something in the settings, I can't use this if its not accurate, plus I used it for 1 hour and 45 minutes today and the battery was almost at 0%? This is a problem considering that I will be doing 100 miles rides, which can take several hours.

Aug 7, 2012I've owned the MotoActv for two month, I got the mysterious "moisture issues" that everyone seems to be getting even though I've never used it in the rain. But the thing that is driving me nuts is the music. When I hit random shuffle of all my songs, I hear songs I don't want to hear... song that I do not own on my computer. Where are these songs coming from? Today I heard "Boot Scoot Boogie!" I abhore country music as does my wife. Doing a computer wide search shows no evidence that the song exists on my computer. Yet there it is playing in mile four. Other mystery songs have showed up too. The performance music playlist seems to be filled with songs I never heard of, yet evidently I perform well to them.

My husband's phone however will count on the phones data usage 20mb over night while it is charging and on our wifi. it is counting this towards his 3g usage and not wifi. We have already had APPLE reset everything at the store. it is still doing it. so he has to turn off all cellualar data usage at night or it keeps racking up the usage even though it is on our wifi. I plug my phone in at night as well and mine is not doing this

May 6, 2010I can load ovi maps. I can connect to the satelite to get my position. When connected to the satetlite, you get a first screen. If I type in an address, or use a favourite stored location, and select "drive to" or "walk to", the phone will calculate a route and the voice will start to give me directions. A second screen then loads by default to a 3D view where your position is represented by an arrow, and a blue line shows the route direction. The phone essentially behaves like a standalone GPS at this point. However, after a short while as popup shows to say something like "this will take a few moments". After this, the voice and route features shutdown and the screen is returned to just the 2d positioning map. I would like to get the "drive to"/"walk to" route calculation with voice direction to stay on (obviously)?
