Nokia :: 6760 Can't Go Further After Few Steps In OVI Maps

I can load ovi maps. I can connect to the satelite to get my position. When connected to the satetlite, you get a first screen. If I type in an address, or use a favourite stored location, and select "drive to" or "walk to", the phone will calculate a route and the voice will start to give me directions. A second screen then loads by default to a 3D view where your position is represented by an arrow, and a blue line shows the route direction. The phone essentially behaves like a standalone GPS at this point. However, after a short while as popup shows to say something like "this will take a few moments". After this, the voice and route features shutdown and the screen is returned to just the 2d positioning map. I would like to get the "drive to"/"walk to" route calculation with voice direction to stay on (obviously)?
