I trying to update my software to 2.1 but it doesn't seem to work.I tried with PC Companion as well as Update service.I follow the steps, when it asks to hold 'back' button down and plug in USB, thereafter it doesn't do anything.The window that comes up to give those instructions, diassapears and then the previous window remains but nothing happens.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI can load ovi maps. I can connect to the satelite to get my position. When connected to the satetlite, you get a first screen. If I type in an address, or use a favourite stored location, and select "drive to" or "walk to", the phone will calculate a route and the voice will start to give me directions. A second screen then loads by default to a 3D view where your position is represented by an arrow, and a blue line shows the route direction. The phone essentially behaves like a standalone GPS at this point. However, after a short while as popup shows to say something like "this will take a few moments". After this, the voice and route features shutdown and the screen is returned to just the 2d positioning map. I would like to get the "drive to"/"walk to" route calculation with voice direction to stay on (obviously)?

Is there a way to delete this? The reason why this is frustrating is that it has completely knocked out the scale on the wellness screen(as my max is usually around 15k steps).
I have recently updated my XPERIA X10 version to 2.3.3 frm 2.1. (updated through the sony care) Everything works fine than the SMS. After sending some nos of sms, if i try to send - it will show as "sending". Then if i restart the phone SMS is getting delivered. Does any1 faced this kinda prob here.

I start using the phone and got a notification saying the update was available to make. So, I got a PC Companion, did exactly what they said and nothing, it stopped in Step 2, when I push the "Back" button and insert the USB cable. So, I researched and all, used the Update Service, still nothing, removed Anti-Viruses, Firewalls and run the computer in safe mode in networking...and nothing.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have purchased Neo V this week and have tried to upgrade to ICS using PCC, however midway through the installation I was directed to remove the USB and switch off the phone and then press the 'back' button and then connect the usb cable to PCC. However while doing, a message popped up on PCC that the update is aborted and since then the phone has turned blank.
I have tried several times to restart the phone as well as connect to PCC, however the phone is BLANK.

If I have downloaded an OS package and wish to update it manually, what are the steps for this purpose and how? Please someone explain in brief, will appreciate that and how am I to ensure that the previous version of OS is removed? I'm currently reading about how to backup my data and 3rd party data, once I'm clear with everything, will proceed with the upgrade.
Now that I have my iPhone 4 pre-ordered, I need to get rid of my 3G. It is currently not unlocked (to my knowledge), but it is jailbroken. I noticed this occurence in the morning and thought it was a daily reset issue and it might clear it self. However, 2 days later the steps and calories are still not displaying. I was thinking I could have accidently changes a setting. I have played around through the settings and can't find a selection to turn those on or off.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an iPhone 6 plus and recently purchased the Jawbone UP Move. The issue I am having is that both my Jawbone and healthkit are writing steps data to the dashboard. This is causing step counts to be extremely high. Additionally, the Jawbone is duplicating steps that it delivers to healthkit. So what I am seeing is duplicate Jawbone + Healthkit steps in my dashboard. Is there any way to turn off Healthkit from counting steps?Â

I recently tryed updating my phone, i had to cancel it as it took along time, i then tryed to put the phone on but now it goes to the point of showing the sony erricson sign and then it comes up with a half blank screen and then a weird pattern on the bottom, then after a few seconds it switches itself off. does anyone know anything i can try. i have taken the battery out, the sim card the memory card and tryed to restart from computer and the mains and its still the same.

View 1 Replies View RelatedEver since upgrading to 5.0.2 and later, when turning on my (now replaced) Z3 it would show the Sony logo, the encryption/lock animation, ask for my encryption pattern, get to the wavy boot animation screen then restart. After the restart it would go through the same process but after inputting my encryption pattern I'd come across the 'Android is upgrading/starting' screens. Meaning it would take around 10 minutes to just turn on my phone.Â
I thought it was just a problem that would be fixed with a reset. However, when my device was broken (insured) I was given a completely new one by my carrier which after a few days came across the exact same problem and has been doing it for over a month now. As far as I can tell it only happens after I turn on encryption but that might not be the cause at all.
I have just upgraded my X10 from 1.6 to 2.1, before the upgrade, the Bluetooth was connected to Laptop, PC and Car Hand Free. Since the upgrade, the device is PAIRED but will not connect. the message on the X10 is "paired but not connected"

How does someone reset their calories burned and steps taken on their motoactv? Mine says something to the affect of 1200+ steps and 2000+ calories burned... but I imagine that's because it was in my car when I went to and from work. I never used it beyond that and testing at home.
I'd imagine the factory reset will do it, but I don't want to have to start all over again. You would think there would be a simple button to reset those stats.
