Xperia X10 :: Bluetooth Not Working After Upgrading To 2.1?
Mar 15, 2011
I have just upgraded my X10 from 1.6 to 2.1, before the upgrade, the Bluetooth was connected to Laptop, PC and Car Hand Free. Since the upgrade, the device is PAIRED but will not connect. the message on the X10 is "paired but not connected"
So yet another problem surfaced after upgrading my Neo V to ICS. My phone is unable to detect any bluetooth devices. I'm visible to others and they can pair with my phone and transfer files both ways.
I have updated my Xperia active to ICS, and the apps are working fine on wifi but when is switch to 3G some of the apps (gmail and twitter) stop connecting to the internet. I don't want to have to reset the phone or repair it through PC companion in order not to lose all my data.
Two days back I had upgraded my X10mini to andriod 2.1. 24 hours after upgrade the screen got freezed. Its showing FM screen and the restart button is also not working. If I press the power button, screen lights on for some time and goes off. I can't remove the battery as the battery is fixed.
Got a new Xperia ray a week ago and everything is fine except my Bluetooth won't turn on at all. I go to the settings, wireless and networks, and try to turn on Bluetooth but it doesn't work.
why is my bluetooth application not working??... if i paired to other deevices... result will be.. paired but not connected...i can't recieved a file through other devices via bluetooth..
The bluetooth and wifi is not working together, when streaming videos through wifi and audio is connected to the bluetooth outspeaker , wifi connection drops for 30seconds and re-connecting...
my wifi and bluetooth not working when i get up from my sleep i've tried everything like downgrade to GB, then flash to ICS again, but wifi and bluetooth was not working
I have updated my phone and since the update bluetooth does not work, i.e you press turn on bluetooth and it shows the "turning on" but then it just returns to the turn on bluetooth screen in wireless and network settings.
Just got a Kenwood car stereo put in my car with Bluetooth, USB and calling support for phones. The calling feature works just fine but when I try and stream Pandora I can't hit play. It stays there, no sound and wont let it play. I hit the play button, it blinks as if it has been touched but then doesn't turn into the pause button and doesn't even start attempting to play music. If I go to Bluetooth and uncheck the media box and check it again it will start playing but three songs later or so and it stops playing, back to the original symptoms. I tried bypassing Bluetooth and using the USB but that audio gives me the same problems.
I recently bought SE Xperia X10.I am facing the following problems with it:
1. 3G which is recently launched in India, does not work on my phone. I have taken all possible help from the Mobile phone connection service provider.
Up until around a week ago I streamed Spotify to bluetooth devices (speakers, headphones, Ford Sync in my car) with no issues but now I either can't stream Audio at all (with Sync) or it cuts out and stops playing (speakers). Â I use Stamina Mode but have both Spotify & Bluetooth Sharing activated in sleep. Â I have an Xperia Z3 (model D6603)Â on Android v 5.1.1 with no pending software updates. I've run a diagnostic on Bluetooth which passed.
Earlier this week I had a Z3 Compact paired with an Audi MMI in-car system. When a new email was received I would get a notification on the MMI display screen. Since changing to a Z3+ these notifications have stopped. If I search through the folders of the MMI system I can find the new message, however there is no initial alert that a new message has arrived and in the default inbox the MMI system says "no messages to display". I do however receive a notification when an SMS arrived. Bluetooth settings on the phone show that MAP is active.
Ive been a X10 user for a few months now... I havent had any issues with this phone up until now when I decided to use bluetooth. Everytime I use bluetooth, it works for a small period of time and then hangs itself... It simply disconnects and refuses to pair again... This happens with my stereo headset and also with the Wiimote I use for playing games on the phone... At first I thougnt this might be an issue with the headset (which didnt have the best reception, choppy audio and bad quality, specially for an official SE headset) but I really noticed the issue after I started using my Wii remote to play games on the phone since I know the remote works flawlessly on the Wii itself... The problem is that it stops working, refuses to pair again and when I turn off Bluetooth, it doesnt turn on again, no matter how long I try, forcing me to restart the phone... Only to work again after rebooting and hanging again after some use...
i installed the bluetooth file transfer app from the market and it worked fine for a couple of goes, then my 6 yr old got hold of my phone and i am not sure if he altered some sort of setting and it is now not sending out files (it says on the recieving phone, - connection dropped- ) it is also now not connecting to other phones. Is there anyway of finding out what had changed so i can fix it, would a reset work if so how to do it.
Dell BH-200 Bluetooth Stereo headset with mic doesn't work with new ICS (Android 4.0.4) in my Xperia Neo V after ICS upgrade, I am able to pair it and Phone Media works with it but not Audio, I mean to Say, Unable to answer calls using the headset. In Bluetooth Menu it is connected for both Phone Audio & Media Audio also.

I just upgraded my Iphone 3gs to OS 5.1 now my Safari and Mail apps won't work? Safari opens for about 2 seconds to blank white screen and shuts down - Mail opens for 5 seconds with blank white screen and shuts down.
Both myself and my partner have iPhones. I'm on a 4S she has my old 3GS. Since we both updated to 5.1 iMessage doesn't work, anyone I know who hasn't upgraded past 5.0, iMessage still works. Any ideas. Auto time update is on, on both handsets, it's strange as it was working for a few days after the update then it suddenly stopped one afternoon and hasn't worked since.
I upgraded my 3G to iOS 4 and jailbroke it the other day. Everything works fine except data — whenever I try using the internet over 3G, nothing happens. Every app I try is unable to connect to the web. Calls and SMS still work fine.Is there a way to either a) revert to 3.1.2, or b) get data working on iOS 4?
My BB curve 8520 ringtone stopped working after upgrading the phone from os 4.6 to 5.0. I don't want to pull out battery every time in order to make it work for a while. I need a permanent solution other than going back to os 4.6.
Last week I upgraded my 8900 to 5.0.0.900 OS and since then my profiles haven't been working right. Mainly SMS/MMS. I have set up a few personal "Contact Alerts", like I have always done, but the specific Ring Tones for messages are not working. It follows the specific profile I am on and not the exception I have established that should overwrite the profile being used. I have had no problems with older BB OS!I have my phone on silent at night but have a specific "Contact Alert" set up for family members that will ring through no matter what. Phone calls ring through fine. It's just SMS/MMS that do not seem to follow the exception "Contact Alert". have even blown away all my personal contact alerts and started over and have checked each setting over and over - but nothing works.
I signed up for Windows Insider on my Lumia 1020 and the next day I was prompted to perform a system maintenance update. I went ahead and approved it and it ended up being the Windows 10 Mobile upgrade. The upgrade went smoothly. For some reason Windows Maps will not launch. This is also affecting the HERE app.
Since I upgraded my iPhone last night, my iHome dock, Philips dock and BMW car connection are failing. When connecting the phone to the docks I get a "This accessory not supported" message on the phone and when I hook it up in the car the car display plays music but is stuck on displaying only the name of the first song and doesn't change when moving from one song to another.
I m unable to access gallery and music file on my Xperia X10i after upgrading it to 2.3.3. Its giving error as FORCE CLOSING android.process.media as its closed unexpectedly.
I listen to audiobooks from Audible on my phone and use my headset to play/pause the the books. After upgrading from GB to ICS the headset control stopped working for the Audible app, but it works for all other applications.I called Audible support and they set that I had to talk to Samsung to get this fixed.
When I upgraded to DP 8.1, I developed a couple of problems that I had hoped Denim would resolve. For example, my camera button stopped working. Also, I lost the function to hold my finger on the screen to move the cursor around in text. So I can't edit messages very easily. I was hoping these were issues with the DP version and Denim would resolve the problems. But I loaded the upgrade this morning, and none of these issues are resolved. I still can't use the camera button. And I still get hold my finger on the screen to get a cursor.
