May 24, 2012I have a white iPhone 4S that is permanently stuck on the Apple icon screen. I have:
- Plugged it into the computer. It is not recognized.
- Held the home button + the top button down in order to reset. Does not respond.
- Let the iPhone drain from battery usage. After recharging it eventually goes back to the Apple Logo screen and freezes again.
It seems to have just happened recently after upgrading my iPhone to the newest patch. Not sure which patch number it was, but I just updated everything as of last week.

Apr 11, 2012Both myself and my partner have iPhones. I'm on a 4S she has my old 3GS. Since we both updated to 5.1 iMessage doesn't work, anyone I know who hasn't upgraded past 5.0, iMessage still works. Any ideas. Auto time update is on, on both handsets, it's strange as it was working for a few days after the update then it suddenly stopped one afternoon and hasn't worked since.

It seems this is a common issue in iPhone 4S when upgrade to iOS 7.1.2.

May 9, 2012Since I upgraded my iPhone last night, my iHome dock, Philips dock and BMW car connection are failing. When connecting the phone to the docks I get a "This accessory not supported" message on the phone and when I hook it up in the car the car display plays music but is stuck on displaying only the name of the first song and doesn't change when moving from one song to another.

I have set up a few personal "Contact Alerts", like I have always done, but the specific Ring Tones for messages are not working. It follows the specific profile I am on and not the exception I have established that should overwrite the profile being used. I have had no problems with older BB OS!I have my phone on silent at night but have a specific "Contact Alert" set up for family members that will ring through no matter what. Phone calls ring through fine. It's just SMS/MMS that do not seem to follow the exception "Contact Alert". have even blown away all my personal contact alerts and started over and have checked each setting over and over - but nothing works.

Jul 1, 2012I can confirm my 4S and all my other devices are not able to activate iMessage after it is toggled off and back on. It simply stays stuck on "Waiting for activation" and eventually goes to "Activation unsuccessful. Turn on imessage to try again". All with no avail. get your engineers on this ASAP apple. More and more people are facing this issue. Devices that are already receiving and sending imessages are unaffected. However when you toggle imessage off and then back on, it does not reactivate. This must clearly be a ongoing issue with your icloud server from yesterdays outages.
