I've noticed that all the alerts sounds are not working anymore after upgrading my iPhone 4S to iOS 7.1.2
It seems this is a common issue in iPhone 4S when upgrade to iOS 7.1.2.
Anything I can do to resolve the issue especially that my work deepens on the push emails and alerts that requires prompt response.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI did the most recent update for May23, 2012 and since I updated the phone I no longer am receiving sounds on alerts or incoming texts. Also when i type on the keyboard, there is no sound. My music works no problem and when I test the ring tones, they all come up on the speaker, but my phone now only vibrates when there's a new text. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I have checked all my settings, reset the phone and everything and still no sound.

My iphone 3GS has no sounds now except the phone ringer. I have toggled the mute switch back and forth and it makes no difference. When I go into settings for sounds I see at the top that it is marked silent. However I cannot find any way to switch that off and reset it back to sounds. The only thing that seems to work now is vibrate and the phone ring.

My iPhone 6 Plus is less than a 2 weeks old but since day one its speaker sounds distorted.  The ringer or alerts or even the new email alert have a popping or clangy sound to them. Is this a software issue or hardware? My phone is uptodate and Ive tried hard reboots to try to alleviate the problem but it didn't fix the problem. Should I try to restore it?Â

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had many smart phones, all of which you can have the email and text alerts be two different sounds. The HTC One M8 is setup just like they are. You select the notification sound in the settings app and that changes the email alert. You then go into the text app and from the settings there you can change the text alert to something else. Simple, except the text sound will not change.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI cant change or set the ring tones and alerts on my phone. I go to Sounds scroll to Set ring tones/Alerts, click on but nothing happens. It just sits there with Set ring tones/Alerts highlighted but doing nothing? It used to work ok and I have used it to change and set ring tones in the past but now nothing happens. It never moves from that screen. Any ideas you clever clogs out there?

The normal videos and pictures dont come out good either.Anyone else have these issues? Any suggestions on how to clean the camera lens?Another issue is I had an Env2 think the vx9200 that had my ringtones and music on a memory card.I put that same card into the Dare and I can't set my sounds as a ringtone.The ones under 30 seconds I can but not the full songs like I could on the Evn. There's no message corresponding, no notifications. Just random alert sounds and i don't have Highwire set to any apps or alerts.I don't really want to remove the 10 apps or so i've installed in the past few days, i'd rather get down to the source of the problem

My birthdays from contacts show up on my calendar and in the notification center, but I don't get any alert on my iPhone 4 (iOS 7), although I switched everything on in notification centre options, and also set default alert time for birthdays under calendar options on 'day of event (9:00)'. Other calendar events show up as expected, only birthdays fail. Also, birthday alerts do show up on my Mac, but I need the reminder on my iPhone - just missed two birthdays today!!

The calendar alerts have been deteriorating since my installation of Mavericks. It does not matter what I do, alerts are NOT working. This is immensely annoying. First I got double alerts, that were still sometimes working. Than I got single alerts that were rarely working. Now I have alerts that do not work EVER.Â

I can still get a ringtone, voice mail on speaker and voice memos I can still hear. But notifications like email, messages and notifications of other apps are only working on vibrate. Occasionally, part of a tone for a message will sound. It did this several weeks ago and then all of a sudden it started working again. I'm not getting any sounds on games. I have checked all the settings several times, done hard resets, turned it off and on many times. I've done everything I can think of aside from reformatting (or whatever it's called for iphones). Has anybody had this issue? I've turned the sound switch on an off many times. When I press the volume controls, the image of the sound bell does not appear. Can't listen to music, headphone jack doesn't work either.

So a few days ago I dropped my iPhone 4. I'm not 100% sure but I think that is when my sound stopped working. The speakers are working fine, I can hear music and things like that. None of the phone sounds such as clicking when lock/unlocked, keyboard clicks etc are working. When I press the + and - volume buttons the icon does not appear, same as when i mute/unmute it. No sounds, nothing appears. Also, when I receive incoming calls the ringer no longer works.
I have tried cleaning with toothbrush, restarting, restoring, blowing in the phone, etc.

I upgraded my 3G to iOS 4 and jailbroke it the other day. Everything works fine except data — whenever I try using the internet over 3G, nothing happens. Every app I try is unable to connect to the web. Calls and SMS still work fine.Is there a way to either
a) revert to 3.1.2, or
b) get data working on iOS 4?
Since I upgraded my iPhone last night, my iHome dock, Philips dock and BMW car connection are failing. When connecting the phone to the docks I get a "This accessory not supported" message on the phone and when I hook it up in the car the car display plays music but is stuck on displaying only the name of the first song and doesn't change when moving from one song to another.
