Motorola Motoactv :: Route Map Not Showing In Portal?

View 15 RepliesI synced up my run wirelessly and on the watch it says it successfully completed. I sign on to the website, and I notice the new splash screen (portal update?) and my run is not on it. I can't even view the runs at all. Anytime I click on past runs, it just has those new screens telling me all the cool things portal can do.
Is this because of the updating? I'm on 1.7.3 N8, and new motocast software too.
I like my MOTOACTV, just want some type of clarity on problems. I'd rather see a "site down for a scheduled maintenance" than not being able to do anything on the site.
I would like to report a bug with regards to saving/making a route public.I go into Planning, then Routing, and I have several routes saved from previous workouts. As per below, I click on the "Public Route" check box, and then Save. I just get booted to a generic screen/map with the "Create New Route" button.Regardless of whether I click on save or not, if I reselect the route on the left, then it the "Public Route" check box is cleared again.In addition on the screenshot below, why does it say "2525 Hemlock St, Vancouver, BC V6H, Canada | 0.06 km". This route was clearly 25k. Strange/weird thing also is if i click on "Edit Route", (Hey anthing's worth a try....) and then Save, it actually turns my route (ie destroys my route) into .06 km. This is exactly what happened to the bottom route on the left list; it used to be 25k until I 'saved' it. Oh well, at least I can go into my recent workouts and resave the route and try again!

I can get logged in...sometimes and I was able to upload this morning's run...but I can't consistently get to the details at this point. I know it is being worked on, and I understand how that goes - I work in IT myself. All I am asking for is a status and an ETA for full functionality.

At the top of motoactv.com it only says Sign IN..Got my MotoActv today and really, I have seen all the videos, seen all the how-to-do's and I basically know everything there is to know about the MotoActv and I am just OVEREXCITED that I got it today (along with 7 of the featured things such as the Wireless HD Headphones, bikemount, wristband, HR..))
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to access support from Motorola about my device's inability to connect to the internet and create a Motocast ID. It is now not even giving me error messages, and Motocast isn't starting up anymore when I plug it into my computer. I don't have wi-fi as that would involve having to buy a TV and various other unneeded things to get a wi-fi package, so I use a dongle for my internet. I am really unhappy about the service from Motorola and the fact that they've released a great idea before it's actually ready to be used.

View 1 Replies View RelatedHas anyone investigated/reverse engineered what protocol the watch uses to communicate home, e.g. is a HTTP connection used, is it encrypted/protected with certificates, etc. If it was straight plaintext, we could at least have a backup solution if Motorola stops supporting the device and drops the portal... Must say I'm getting nervous about lack of Motorola feedback

View 12 Replies View RelatedYesterday (4/10), I did a two mile walk, plus a few other short walks. When I got home, I went to the workout screen, and selected "sync workouts". When I looked at the motoactv later, it stated "sync complete!". The problem is: None of the workouts show up on the web portal for yesterday. I don't see a way to re-sync them on the device either. These were just simple "quick start" walks. I'm not doing anything complicated.
I saw there is another post about missing workouts, but it seems to relate to interval training, and I didn't immediately see a solution for my specific issue.
Since the update I have not been able to login to my MotoACTV account. I tried to reset my password, but when I click the button nothing happens. I have tried doing this in Chrome, Safari and IE just in case.

View 4 Replies View RelatedEver since I upgraded the software on my MotoActv I am no longer able to view route information for new workouts on my phone. Every time I try to view the routes, I get the message "Route information is not available for this workout." I know that the route information is syncing properly to MotoActv.com, because I can view it there. I just can't view it on my phone. The one workout that I completed prior to the software upgrade shows route information just fine on my phone.I have a MotoActv 8GB and it is currently running MA 1.6.13 N8. Strangely enough, the website lists the latest software as being MA 1.6.6 N8, so how did I get something newer and could this be part of the problem?

View 12 Replies View RelatedI already purchased the product and any accessories that that I deem necessary.Seeing the ad for accessories so prominently on the main portal page is at best tacky, and at worst insulting.Create a link at the bottom of the page for "MotoACTV Store" or something, but don't waste such useful screen real estate on trying to push more stuff on us.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI noticed today an error on the portal when viewing Intervals. I was follwing a Carmichael run and so I tap the screen to start my first interval after I have warmend up.The portal is correctly showing my 4 High, and 4 Low intervals, and the duration is correct. What isn't correct is when I click on the first interval, it's starting from the time I started the run. Not from the time the interval started. Therefore, when viewing the graph info for that intevarl, it's looking at the wrong section of the graph.Basically, the portal needs to know what time into your workout the first interval started and use that as the offset for displaying the interval data on the graph.

This has all come about after having to create another ID because I could not login to my existing account (turnere). I am wondering if my motoactv is still syncing with the old account. would it be possible to have the old account deleted. Then would it be possible to assign my current account (eiturner) with my motoactv device. My serial is registered against my profile/account?

On Sunday I had 3 workouts (elliptical, outside walk and weight) - the main chart on the page has three items in stacked column view, but summary bar at the top shows only two.

Pace zones (settings/fitness zones/pace zones)When I enter my zones, I give a name to the template and save. When I reload the page, the values are gone. Only the new template name and the zone labels are still there.2. Planning workoutI am trying to set up a workout of 3 activities: a warm-up, an interval workout and a slow down. Each activity has a duration and a heart rate zone assigned. When I save the workout, the heart rate zone of the interval activity are coming back to the lower zone by default.
