Just went to use my GPS for one of the first times since I updated to GB back when it came out and it never seemed to work. I turned everything on and when I clicked on driving directions (inside of Google Maps) it just says Searching for GPS and never seems to connect.
View 10 RepliesI just bought a Droid Razr Maxx to replace my Droid Bionic yesterday. I purchased it on Craigslist, and just now realized the GPS isn't working. If I use any of the GPS apps it finds 0 satellites in view no matter how long it stays out. I'm really hoping I didn't get screwed on this craigslist deal, but my stomach is sinking right now. So far I have.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy camera on my new xt5 that I bought is not working it never worked even straight out of the box, is there an update or software patch that can fix this, I've tried everything resetting it twice taken out the sd card putting in a new one nothing works it just fails, when i touch the camera or camcorder button the screen just goes all black and stays like that indefinably... until I press the home button. Absolute failure.

Is there something that is known about this, or something I can change or test? Or, did I buy a Droid 2 with a faulty LED?
I have a new Droid 4 and cannot get my hotmail working. I have added the account under "Accounts" and it said it was successfully added and is in the account list. However, I'm not getting any emails...not the old ones or new ones coming in. My gmail account is working just great. How can I get my hotmail to work?

My problem is when I try to use hands free calling with my Clarion CX609 head unit, the microphone does not connect. I hear the call through the speakers as expected but the phone is still using the built in microphone. After the OTA release of 5.9.902 I still don't have connectivity to my external microphone.I had a Blackberry Tour and it connected and worked perfectly fine. I would think my Bionic would work in the same manner only better.

I get notification for new mails for my corporate email but not my personal email. I used to get notification earlier but I am not sure if I turned OFF a setting. I have looked at a bunch of forums and people suggest turning on Data Roaming and Background Data. I have both turned On. I have looked at a bunch of settings and dont see anything wrong.

My battery dies faster after update 50% only 4 hours off charger. The thing getting to the most is when i pull phone out of pocket and unlock it the data never works i tried everything rebooting or airplane mode do not fix it. I usually have to pull battery. If I go to 'system setting', 'sound' and try to change the 'phone ringtone' or 'default notification', the get the message "Activity Android System is not responding". I was able to turn on "Vibrate and ring", so at least I'm getting vibation, but no ringtone.

I'm having issues with Pandora on my X2 running 2.3.4, I cannot get Pandora to connect and play at all unless it is through WiFi. Then, it only buffers one song and dies due to the problem with the X2 wifi not staying active even when the sleep policy is set to never.Pandora doesn't work on 3g except for the inital advertisement.
Newb with hopefully an easily answered question.Had a Droid 2 originally... you could hit the search button from within the the standard email app and search within the folder you were viewing... it would return matches on to/from/subject... useful for when you needed to find a quick email for reference.Just got a Droid 4 and am trying the same thing... but to no avail. Search always returns 0 results. I could have sworn this worked on the 4 as well, but I might be dreaming.Anyone know if this is a bug, search index issue, etc.? Would really like to have this work, if at all possible.

View 8 Replies View RelatedIt does work correctly when i put it in my pocket it does shut the screen of, When i see the problem is using the phone in portriate mode. it will just shut the screen. Seems to happen whent he phone is straight up and down ti will just lock the phone. i can unlock it and it goes straight back to locked. I have my screen time out set to a minute, and since i disabled it a few days ago i haven't had the issue. and also seems like the setting may be related to pulling down the notifications bar. It kind of makes me think my finger is hitting the light sensor that makes the phoen think it is in my pocket. Maybe that setting needs increased to a few seconds before it locks. Or maybe we just need an option under in pocket detection to set our own preference in seconds from 1 to 10. Either way wanted to report the problem and see if others have noticed this.

Whether plugged in to charger or not, after two minutes the screen went BLANK (locked), and stayed such until I unlock it.Due to issues with it automatically redialing the last number (did my voice mail 51 times before I powered it off), got a replacement.This one after the 2 minutes, the screen would DIM, but would not go BLANK, but only when plugged in to the charger. Off the charger, 2 minutes, screen goes blank.Verizon has been no help on this. This phone kept losing the data connection, so they have sent me a 3rd... and it does the same with regards to the screen going blank.

View 4 Replies View RelatedHaving major trouble as of yesterday afternoon. Seems my touch Screen is on the frits. I noticed my back button didn't work all of a sudden, but the search and home and menu buttons all still work. and i could barely unlock my phone because a strip up from the back button wasn't working. I have done all i know to do at this point, pulled the battery twice, As bad as i hated to, i did a factory reset, which did increase the speed but i lost all of my customizations, and apps. I had 122 market apps and salvaged about 20 - 40 from the market, only 4 was paid. Anyways the problem still existed. IT came back for a few minutes after about an hour after the factory restore, and started working, then went away again. and didn't work again until i started typing this thread. I know it won't last though....
I'm out of warranty and i got shot down by calling verizon for a replacement, thought i might run by a store later to see what i can do. I want to hold out on an upgrade until next year when hopefully the droid 4 will have a keyboard and 3g . I hate to upgrade to a 3g phone this year when 4g is in my area now.
My phone no longer rings when a call or text comes in. I had this issue and a few others so I got a warrenty replacement. It has worked fine for a few days but now the phone will vibrate but won't ring.

The phone ringer stopped working and I have to completely shut off the phone and turn it back on to get it to work, but then it will randomly stop working again. Also, the camera will take a picture but when you go to the gallery the picture is not there and it just shows a generic icon. I've done a factory reset on the phone twice and the issues keep coming back.
