Motorola Droid X :: All Buttons Turn Screen On With GB Update
Jun 30, 2011I am having a problem with all of the hard buttons turning my screen on. With Froyo, only the power button and home button would turn the screen on. Now any of the buttons can activate the screen making it too easy for the screen to come on, running my battery down.

At some period shortly after, the notification to the notification bar also suddenly stopped as well. Now, the only way to see if I have a gmail is to go to Goolgle gmail and check.

Feb 23, 2012After my Razr downloaded and installed the 2.3.6 update, my sd card quit working or should I say isn't recognized. Frustrating as I had EVERYTHING stored on my sd card. I called Verizon an the tech told me, "your sd card just went bad, they do that from time to time". We all know how long the Razr has been out, and that seems like such a short lifespan for a sd card, plus it is strange that it quit after the update.

Apr 16, 2011handsfree bluetooth completely not working after the Gingerbread update? I have an 08 Titan with the built in bluetooth and everything worked perfectly on Froyo. Since the OTA update, I can pair and connect but can't actually hand the call off to bluetooth. I try selecting bluetooth on the in call screen and it seems like it tries but I get no audio at all and it just kicks back to normal phone call mode. Speaker works.

I think this all happened after being in the car dock. Today when removed from the car dock it was still indicating charging the battery, had to reboot to clear. Its was getting hot.

Jul 28, 2011My VOL and CAM buttons turn the unit ON [original "droid" (year and a half old) ]... as a result it is almost impossible to keep phone off in my holster and so it drains quickly and then NO phone!I looked in "settings" for the phone (globally) and found something about "accessibility" which is OFF (unchecked). "Power button ends call" = checked. But that'sit. Nothing on how to control those two buttoms.

Oct 17, 2011Two times over the weekend my Bionic has gotten to a point where the phone's power buttons nor any of the other buttons would respond. There was only the green indicator blinking on the front of the phone and it seemed to be frozen. I waited around 10 minutes and tried pressing the power button again, holding it down and pressing it repeatedly. Nothing. I did a battery pull on the phone and when I booted it back up it seemed to work.

In the corner near the search capacitive button I noticed the lighting for the capacitive button seeps out a little, like a very small amount. It doesn't overwhelm the screen or anything. When holding my phone upright and looking down towards the capacitive buttons, I do notice some light coming out from the left and right corners. if this is because of the design and is normal?
