If I'm in the text message app viewing a conversation, press menu key, call, all the contact phones numbers show as "Other". the contact phone numbers have the correct labels in the contacts app.
View 1 RepliesWhen you recieve a text and press the menu button, there is a an option to "call". If you select call you get a popup window with that contacts phone numbers. The bug is that all of them are listed as "other", instead of "home", "mobile", "work".This is on MB810.

I would like to create a contact with the main call number and add each persons passcode to their contact information as an "other" phone number. Is there a way to call the contact number then when prompted for the passcode, go to a the appropriate contact and have their "other" number sent to enter the conference call?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have the Razr Maxx thru Verizon.I have a husband and wife setup as separate contacts but same last names.If I use voice and say "Linda" it brings up her contact. If I select it so her name shows it the contact field then send a text message, it ends up under her husbands conversation. It appears to have been sent to her husband.But I don't get replies.

If you are in the middle of sending a text message and using the voice input and talking to the voice input when a call comes in, the voice input is abandoned, the "answer/ignore" screen shows for a second. But before you can answer, the keyboard comes back up and covers it up, so you can't answer the call. And then the keyboard is stuck on the screen. "back" doesn't make it go away (so you still can't answer the call). Even if you go to the home screen, the keyboard is still on the screen. Stock phone, not rooted, all updates applied, etc.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI wonder if anyone can help me. I am using the nokia 5310 and even though I am using a sim card with all my names stored in it, when I get a call or a text from someone who is in my phonebook it still just shows up as a number.
Also the names are not in order in my phone book.I am using this phone in Canada, and I got it from Ireland so the time on my incoming messages is 5 hours behind.So many issues!!
I have the lock screen disabled, yet after I send or receive a text (using Handcent) my screen locks. I checked my Handcent setup and all the screen locking and security features are disabled as well.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIn the native Text Message application I am finding that for one contact, that I notice, the conversation is not grouping inbound and outbound messages. For all others it is. For example: If I open the Text Message application I can see two entries for the same contact. The first entry is all the messages I have sent to this contact. The second entry is for all the messages this contact has sent me. I have deleted the contact and recreated and it still occurring.

I sometimes get as many as 6 of the same message. It doesn't happen all of the time, but too much for me. I've tried clearing the cache and I even did a master reset wih no luck.

View 15 Replies View RelatedNow that I've had this happen a couple of times and I know I wasn't hallucinating, I wanted to see if anyone else had noticed it.Sometimes, when I get a new text message, I pull down the notification bar, click the notification, and it takes me to a blank text thread, addressed to the person who sent me the message, just as if I was sending a brand new text in a brand new thread to that person. If I back out of it and go back to text messaging, their name is still showing in bold blue, indicating there is a new message, and I can click it and everything is there as expected.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI got an early release on the Fitbit Surge. Its awesome so far except my smartphone, a Motorola Droid Turbo, will not currently sync notifications for text and phone calls. I've emailed them asking about the problem. They say it is because "the Fitbit app is not currently supported by the Motorola Droid Turbo." The smart phone compatible list on their website does not show my phone, however the app works just fine and even syncs everything else the surge has to offer. Fitbit says they are working closely with smart phone manufactures to work out the Bluetooth 4.0 problems. The only instance that the I have any trouble is when I check the text and call notifications box in the Fitbit app for my surge.

I had a samsung charge that had this feature and it was great option. When you are getting emails all day and calendar appointments notification showing up. Any ideas? The dealer worked on this today and found that all the other phones which were owned by employees worked without this message.

Not for email, text message, nothing. Tried a reset and no led even before re-installing 3rd party apps. None of the led apps worked either.
