If I go to menu, about phone, and status, the DEC ESN listed is missing a digit! It's supposed to be 18 digits, but instead its only 17. It seems to be missing a 0 somewhere in the middle of the number.
View 4 Replies View Relateddon't have it with me, but will tomorrow afternoon. I do however have the WiFi Mac Address, and the back cover protector from when I first bought the Xoom that has three bar codes on it and a couple sets of numbers. I need to get this number fast, but I don't know which one is the actual "serial number". Motorola's Servie and Repair area requires the Mac Address, which I thought was the unique serial number, only problem is it's 12 digits, not 16. I also have the box here too, with the bar codes and numbers on the side as well.Is there anywhere not on the Xoom that has the 16 digit serial number? Or am I to combine some of the strings of number

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Google Apps account where a password is required on the device. I'd like to see this work more like the Droid X where you set a timeout, say 30 minutes, and if you use the device within 30 minutes, you don't need to enter the password again.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI use the finger print and the 4 digit lock screen functions on my Z5c.
For some reason, although I have the 4 digit lock screen option set, I can swipe up and it will unlock.
When I go in to the Security menu and click on Screen Lock and enter my 4 digit code, the Pin option states the following:
"Because you've turned on an accessibility service, your device won't use your screen lock to enhamce data encryption"
I did have both the finger print option and the 4 digit lock screen option working together properly, but now it's not working properly.
The finger print option is working fine, what's wrong with the 4 digit lock screen option ?

Updated my 4s to OS7.01. When prompted, could not log on using my 4-digit code. What's up? How can I get back into my phone? I'm completely "locked out".

I upgraded the firmware on my N97 to 2.1 the other day and have had no problems since. This evening, after a reboot (no new software installed), it won't allow me to enter my 5 digit lock code. The keys are unresponsive. I've tried removing the battery etc..., but it's still the same. I want to avoid a hard reset if possible, as there is some info that is not backed up.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWell as the title says, I think someone has my exact PIN number. Not the 4 digit security PIN, the "unique" handheld code for BlackBerry's. I found it odd one day when my bbm friends were saying I was asking them "Who are you?".
And when my friends asked who "I" was, he said Thomas, which is not my name! I checked my own PIN, and the PIN of Thomas, it's the same! I never had this problem before. Could it be that just in a billionth of a chance that RIM had made 2 BlackBerry's with the same PIN? his BlackBerry and turns out it's the same as mine.
Any chance anyone has the 6-digit service code for the aforementioned phone? I'm trying to get rid of nags in my installed apps.
View 4 Replies View RelatedA pickpocket took my iPhone when I tried to photograph him, and slammed it in the asphalt The screen and display is broken and the touch-function won't work. But someone is still in there! However, when I plug the phone to my computer(not a Mac) iTunes recognizes there is a unit there, but says I need to type in the 4-digit passcode on the iPhone to get access to it in iTunes. But the touch-screen is still broken, so I can't type in anything. Any solution? Can I type in the code or apple-password somewhere else?

View 2 Replies View RelatedEvery time I try to call a number (LAN LINE) that has a block on unidentified callers, I get the message "The number you are calling does not accept unidentified calls please enter your 10 digit phone number" The funny thing is that this problem just started to happen. A week ago it was fine. When I do call a number that is not blocked, my number comes up correctly on the caller ID but shows as unidentified. Sometimes, it shows up as international. Now, funny thing is that if I put my SIM in my Pearl, I can make calls no problem. There are two settings on the Bold under general options. One is called "Restrict My Identity" In this case, I have have it set to NEVER. I have also tried NETWORK DETERMINED, but neither of them make difference. The other setting is called "Show My Number" and this is set to YES.I have talked to AT&T until I am blue in the face. They say it is a problem with the phone and that it needs to be replaced. I hardly believe that. I have a friend with the same phone and it has the same problem.I did see some threads on this before in other forums, but never did see an answer to the problem.Finding a solution would be very nice.Already tried doing a factory reset and a security wipe on the phone.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've lost the 4 digit user selected security lock code which is required to reset the phone.Virgin says Samsung should help recover the code and Samsung says Virgin should help recover the code.A while back, I found a code on the web that allowed me to go into a service menu which listed among other things the lock code. I can't find any information on how to get back into that menu.
By the way, yes, I tried the last 4 digits of the phone number, 0000, 9999, 1234.If anyone knows how to get into the service menu on this phone
The only codes I've found so far are:##786# which gets into an info menu but doesn't have the lock code.##33284# which requires a 6-digit security code which I don't know.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy WiFi connection keeps re-asking for my password even though what I have entered is 100% correct. It keeps coming back and saying its not correct.I have a WPA 63 character key that I enter and do it 4 digits at a time except the last which is 3 digits, all entered 100% correctly and in the right case, yet my Defy keeps saying incorrect. Do you know what is up with that? It works fine on my laptop with the exact same WPA key entered.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently tried changing my MotoCast password to get to use the MotoActV app on my phone but somehow i've managed to lose what the new password is. I've given up on MotoActV now.
When I try to log into motocast on my droid razr, it says password invalid. If I try a few times it eventually says my account is now locked. Customer service really was no help but it is locked out for about 24 hours.
So 2 days later I go to the motocast site that allows me to change my password by sending me an email with a link to reset my password. The problem is the link goes to a blank page, thus not allowing me to change my password. My MotoCast program on my PC opens and seems to run by saying i'm logged on but using that program to reset my password takes me to the same page that sends me an email. This is the beginning of the email link to reset my password, does anyone see anything wrong with it (i've changed the pkey for security reasons in this email and left off the email part)?[url]...
